Description

An edible plant. The root is starchy/woody and requires pounding and cooking to be eaten. It has a sharp, almost peppery or wasabi flavor to it.

Using splotch pattern A, with flat but distinct spots. Coloring scheme A but using light blue spots.

Ingredient: Ibasi tuber (the entire root)

Should also include a prepared food version, Ibasi paste.

Lore fluff: This is not the type of food you’d go for if you could possibly eat something else. There’s not much else in the Deshaan, though.

I personally vote for this plant to be used also or instead in Shipal-Shin, as I think its sparse foliage also works there.

Hmm. Actually, wouldn’t this be what our recolored corkbulbs for the Aanthirin region would be? Might need to change the leaf arrangement of the corkbulb mesh a little, but otherwise, looks a lot alike.

Not really; the corkbulb has a spike with a swirl of leaves coming out the top, and this has a single, mostly flat plane of compound leaves with leaflets. It’s reminiscent but still quite distinct. Also, the root of this one should be pretty much invisible underground.

If the roots are underground

If the roots are underground then they are not needed on the model. With them removed would give more room for the leaves on the UV map.
Spectacular work though, just a few tweaks and should be ready to go
