I believe Mr. Willis is working on the clans. We have the names for them, but not much lore beyond that.

Ah okay, thank you very much Kevaar, I'll try to read a bit up on it, and maybe hit up Mr.Willis, if he has additional lore.

Here you can see an example of how I envision Dres clan symbols:

Relatively simple, bold Dunmer-style brushwork with complex symbolism. That symbol is a Skyrender reflected on nectar, and also represents a Daedric tower, among other things.

That is quite complex, but don't we need to flesh out, give more character to the varoius Dres clans first, so we can better reflect what they're about in their clan symbols? How deep does the interraction, lore go, the player encounters about the different Dres clans anyway?
One simple example clan "x" is known to value hard work and thus yield the most Chap'thil, their symbol reflects that by showing multiple hands pulling a rope, symbolizing how everyone in their clan pulls on the same string.

Some sketches for possible wisewoman, patriarch masks:

This is the final concept before I'm a week away from my computer, so here's one last goodie.

Dres Warriors, with their white painted bonemold armor, are fierce fighters, they patrol the borders of the Deeshan looking that no outlanders trespass and leave again once the goods for trade are safe. They can often be encounterd as paid bodyguards of travelling Dres merchants, and also as slavehunters or Chap'thil.
