_____________________________________________

El1: Dispatch to Eldale
Quest Giver: Fervas Shulisa (Mouth of Mistress Eldale)
Prerequisites: Member of Mainland Telvanni
Story: The PC is given a coded message to deliver to Mistress Eldale at Tel Darys. They are also told to pick up 5 soul stones (of currently unspecified quality) from Cerul Arnem, in his shop in Port Telvannis (these stones have already been paid for and need to be delivered to Eldale). Cerul Arnem gives the PC the stones, and the PC sets off for Gah Sadrith. When the stones and message are delivered Eldale becomes angry and tells the PC to return in an hour. When they do return, she gives the PC a message to take back to Fervas. Content of the 1st message deals with Bal Gernak, who Eldale's spies report is putting out feelers on the Council to find support to unseat Eldale so Bal Gernak can take her place (this is not told to the PC, and the message is coded using standard TES code, so they can read it if they know the code). The return message is also coded and tells Fervas what to have the PC do next, in addition to a few other miscellaneous things for Fervus to do, which are added for fluff.

El2: Message to Bal Gernak
Quest Giver: Fervas Shulisa (Mouth of Mistress Eldale)
Prerequisites: El1 Complete
Story: The PC travels to Bal Gernak to deliver a message from Mistress Eldale. When the PC hand over the note, a dremora is summoned, which then delivers the message, “Do not meddle in the affairs of the Parliament.” It should probably say a bit more, but the gist is of it is that Eldale is warning Bal Gernak that she is not impressed with his machinations against her. After delivering the message the dremora is unsummoned and Bal Gernak asks that the PC depart. When the PC returns to Fervas they are rewarded with 100 gold for their time.

Ra1: Message from Vvardenfell
Quest Giver: Areth Morvayn (Mouth of Mistress Rathra)
Prerequisites: Member of Mainland Telvanni
Story: The PC is dispatched to meet a courier from Vvardenfell along the coast of the mainland just north or south of Firewatch, they are also given a phrase in Dunmeri they are to speak to the courier (and the answer the courier is to make). When they arrive the courier is under a chameleon spell (~70%), but as the PC approaches they dismiss the spell. The player gives the phrase, the courier replies correctly and hands over an encrypted document. The PC then returns the document to Areth Morvayn. The contents are made clear after completing the second quest.

Ra2: Disease
Quest Giver: Areth Morvayn (Mouth of Mistress Rathra)
Prerequisites: Ra1 Complete, PC eligible to begin the MQ
Story: Areth gives the PC three "weakness to common disease" scrolls and an encrypted scroll bearing the message "Beware, your aspirations," or something to that affect. Areth then sends the PC to Rantela Irenam for a vial of plague rat blood. The PC is then to take the vial of rat blood, scrolls, and message to one of Mistress Eldale's agents in GO. Furthermore the PC is instructed to watch carefully after making the transaction. Soon after a guard approaches the agent and slays him. He then thanks the PC for his assistance (which should be confusing). The PC then returns to Areth to report failure of the plan. Areth explains that the plan worked perfectly and now Bal Gernak will not be so bold. If the PC has not begun the MQ they are also told that their record on Vvardenfell is impressive (or not, depending on the status of a few checks based on journal entries), and that Rathra is considering allowing the PC a great opportunity (how this is phrased is again dependent on the PC’s status in a few journal entries). Areth advises that the PC head to Mistress Rathra right away.

NOTE: A word on what happened here. The guard in GO thinks the PC tipped off the folks in GO to the plan to cause disease into the city (while in fact Rathra's other agent(s) did so, sacrificing Eldale's agent to make a statement to both Eldale and Bal Gernak). The plan was never meant to ravage the town with disease, only to cryptically plant the suggestion to Bal Gernak that such a fate may be in store for his town if he should continue to pursue a Council seat. It also lets him know that Rathra knows he is up to something, though it's a bit more subtle than Eldale's message! Of course this doesn't deter Bal Gernak at all.

El2: Message to Bal Gernak
Quest Giver: Fervas Shulisa (Mouth of Mistress Eldale)

Story: The PC is dispatched to meet a courier from Vvardenfell near Bahrammu (just south of town), they are also given a phrase in Dunmeri they are to speak to the courier (and the answer the courier is to make). The player gives the phrase, the courier replies correctly and hands over an encrypted document. The PC then returns the document to Areth Morvayn. The contents are made clear after completing the second quest.

Status:
El1: 100% Completed; fully tested, still needs copy editing of dialog. Need to write coded materials.
El2: 100% Completed; needs a test of one small point, copy editing of dialog not finished.
Ra1: 100% Completed, not tested yet, but very easy, so I doubt there will be trouble. Need to write coded materials and copy edit dialog. Need to decide Dunmeri phrases for meeting the agent.
Ra2: 70% Completed, need to write final dialog entries for different status of PC's fame on Vv. Also need to write dialog sending the PC to Rathra. Need text of message.

SUBMITTED. Readme has updated plots (with a few minor changes, specifications).

Merging instructions:
  • TR_M1_Q66_Ra2_rat_blood --> place anywhere on table in lowest level of "Port Telvannis, Irenam Manor"; Do not set ownership!
  • TR_M1_Q66_Ra1_Contact --> place at (127191, 209348, 671) [Bahrammu, just south of the southern gate]
  • TR_M1_Q66_Ra2_Guard --> Replace standard guard in "Gah Ouadaruhn, Water's Shadow Tavern"; please place in same location as standard guard
  • TR_M1_Q66_Ra2_Contact --> Place at (2663, 3644, 8135) Face: ~40 in "Gah Ouadaruhn, Water's Shadow Tavern"; should be near this location

EDIT: I've placed plots in my first post. Can a GM/Admin remove the plot descriptions from the claim as it fucks up my claim browser. Alternaively have the claim browser truncate descriptions if they get too long. And why can interior modders not create claims but edit their claim descriptions, while quest modders can *create* new claims but not edit the description once they are created?

Interior modders have not been able to change claim descriptions for a long time.
