Has the stairs been fixed as well so it actually can link two floors in one tile? I remember the stairs were to broad as well.

Once the grid-fitting is done and all the remains is the texture filepaths... I can do that since I'll have to check them all manually anyway when I add them into TR_Data.

Nice I only wonder how much time it would take to fit all parts properly, you can't really tell untill you finish it in fact :/

Yay, I had a look at some parts in max and cs. This set does fit into the gridsnap. Proof:
So, all it needs is fixing paths for 63 nifs BTW, veet used also here a necrom loaddoor that is actually a hlaalu door. Just use the textures I have made to make it look not like hlaalu.
Haplo, if you're going to claim it and you'll notice any needed changes in a mesh, just ask me and I'll do it for you.

Approving. The reason it's less than half the original size is because 2 meshes and about 14 textures were removed from the folders. That job was fucking hell -_-

Thank you thank you... but credit must go also to Aro for checking the models themselves, and Veet for making them in the first place! I think that's 16 pints of ale I have stored now for when I turn 21... and of course I eat the cookies on sight. Necrom claims are that much closer now!

Nope, sorry to spoil your fun, but I've found a few errors which need to be fixed.
First of all, the necrom pieces jumb to a different place when they are replaced. This makes it really tiresome to replace and even more because they all jump in a different wrong direction.
-the TR_in_nec_ramp is too thin and too low. You should use the in_velothismall_ramp_02 to get the dimentions; it should be able to reach the other floor in one tile, while now it reaches it in 1,5 tile.
the nec loaddoor doesnt match the doorjamb.

I'm gonna fix the ramp. And I should make a new door too. Wierd, it fits in the exterior... We can't do too much about jumping... :/

Are you sure? I found out with a bit of research that the normal tiles are turned 180 degrees more than the original velothi tiles and they are 112 higher. The doorjamb and the door are turned 90 degrees and they are 224 lower than their velothi counterparts. The ramp has another rotation and height.

If you can give me precise numbers for each part and it only needs fixing height it might be easy... Though, Modelling software might experience a lot difficulties with rotating and moving grouped objects though(it can mess up A LOT)... And rotating and moving up and down is quite natural and trouble-free in CS. Might only be boring and time-consuming. But importing, grouping, moving around pivots, rotating + moving groups, ungrouping, reexporting several parts is a killer. I would hate to do this, and other modellers don't even have experience with this... Plus they propably would not want to. The necrom set almost burned out Jellew and caused headaches to him. And I understand why.

OK. What meshes need moving? All of the TR_in_nec.
By how much? It depends on the subset. Basically, the small set should fit in a 256x256 square. The most important thing is that the flat part of the floor is at -128, and that the border of the tiles are at an even power of two. veet's meshes use a flat square for the floor and the ceiling. The X, y, z, coordinates for the four vertices of the floor one should be:
-128, -128, -128
-128, 128, -128
128, -128, -128
128, 128, -128
That's for both sets. So, just calculate based on what their coordinates are and you know how much you need to translate. For example, one I opened has for values:
-129.5562, -128.5836, -121.500
-129.5562, 127.4164, -121.500
126.4438, -128.5836, -121.5080
126.4438, 127.4164, -121.5080
So it needs to be moved by x+1.6662, y+0.5836, and z-6.492.
Another I tested has for values:
-141.8041, -126.6336, -21.9560
-141.8041, 129.3664, -21.9560
114.1959, -126.6336, -21.9560
114.1959, 129.3664, -21.9560
So it needs to be moved by x+13.8041, y-1.3664, and z-106.044.
These values are not all exactly the same for all meshes, so I can't give a generic change. Each of the 67 files I've found in TR_Data.bsa needs to be adjusted so that the bottom square is at -128 height, between 128, 128 and -128, -128. That's the only way the tileset will snap to grid correctly and be fully usable.
As for the ramps, it probably needs redoing from scratch. |

A decision has been made that a new interior set will be made. The old one was almost unfixable and was full of errors and quality lacks.
I already started to work on it. The old mesh is tr_in_nec_p_3way, and the new one is tr_in_nec_p_3wayTEST. If anyone wants to suggest anything, better do it know.
Take a look and compare the old one, to the one I just made.
Edit: screens.

Today's progress. 31 meshes done. I'm uploading it.
BTW. Someone PLEASE tell me which vanilla door meshes are fitting in_velothismall_dj_01, because I used this mesh as a base for our new doorjam.

so is the new set replacing the entire old set or just the poor old set? What about the rich set (the ones with the cross-shaped indention)?

Thanks blackbird
Hemitheon, I'm making a replacement for almost every modular mesh that starts with tr_in_nec. Don't worry. Trust me So the answer is, yes, it will be a replacement for the poor and the rich set. (I'm just replacing what is included in TR_Data.)
I was busy today. 36 meshes done.

Finished. Important notes:
-This set is fully modular and it should be no problem to put interiors with it.
-This set doesn't have much to do with the old one. Some meshes don't have a replacement, since they turned out to be useless. I made a few more nifs, that were not included in the old set. The first meshes I made, were velothi based, any further work was based on the ones made by me(that means, you'll propably have to rotate some parts while fixing interiors, if you'll go this way).
-And that's why I can't really help you much more with it. I did all a modeller could do. It's now up to the interior modders to make a use of it. So sorry, I'm not open on any requests except making additional meshes for this modular set.
Have fun
