Description

Almas Thirr #1 Tribunal Monastery. Place of spiritual significance that was built into the riverbank long before Almas Thirr came to be built, and is the main reason the city is at this point in the river. I'm thinking that inside is a combined cave/velothi section containing a location of spiritual significance, but I would like to see some discussion of this in the thread to better decide what it is before I grant the claim to anyone.

Just pointing out my love for mixing Velothi with caves and that I would love to have this should the concept be laid down sufficiently for this claim to be allowed into my hands.
Of course, I am not going to contribute in that field, since I would end up saying something like "This Temple could maybe contain the entrance to a pocket Realm Sotha Sil created when still mortal and that has since then become able to support its own presence." Because seriously, that would be silly (and fun to make).

It could be the birthplace of one of the saints (or even one of the tribunal), or a place where a great miracle was performed.

Apart from my terrible grammar and lame writings, pretty much the above. Good/bad idea?

The Thirr river was not always the tame, slow running river it is now. Its wild waters and treacherous rocks caused the demise of many a Dunmer in times past. A wealthy and pious mer, who was trying to escape an outlaw posse, found refuge in the cave on the river bank. In this cave, the Dunmer prayed to his gods to come to his aid. The gods heard his prayers and tamed the waters, enabling him to cross the Thirr by leaping from rock to rock. When the outlaws tried to follow him, the waters rose again, swallowing them all. The wealthy and faithful mer knew he owed his life to his gods, and as a sign of respect he built a bridge on this very place and funded the building of the monastery on the river bank. In time, the strategic and economic importance of the bridge grew, and soon it turned into a prosperous settlement. Because of this miracle, the city came to be known as Almas Thirr, or Mercy of the Thirr in the Dunmer language.
How do you like this one?

Claimsky?
Velothi/moldcave combination, background story as described above. Front Velothi monastery with tower-style dome, then moldcave leading to another Velothi section with the shrine which lies deeper under the mountain (or deeper under the monastery, I have yet to decide).

Sounds pretty good, granting. Feel free to create your own shrine with unique message and boon. Making the cave a little bit watery with lots of flora would be lovely.

Just saying that on that shrine idea Jule, seems a little bit off for a religion with actual living Gods (why praying rather than a tale of actual badassery by the tribunal?) Also it's just a bit 'mundane', IMO. Outlaws, a river, prayer, etc... all a little 'basic'.

I was aiming for basic, to be honest, and for something not directly Tribunal-related. What did you have in mind? I'm always open to suggestions.

you could replace that mundane bit about the waters being helpful and just have almalexia appear and bitch slap the robbers so hard that the river goes OH DAMN and calms the fuck down.
Phrased better obviously. (maybe the river was humbled)

Just thought I'd upload my latest WIP before leaving for Paris on Saturday. The shell has been overhauled to a great extent, cause I felt the layout could be made a lot more interesting.

You don't have to drop it, we just need to have some kind of update every 30 days or so before we look at revoking files, even if the update is just a post saying "still working on it"

If I want to create an object that cannot be picked up or moved, do I add the noPickUp script to it? If so, do I have to create a new object in the CS, then save the script on it?

I was thinking about continuing Jule's idea, though with slightly more tribunal badassery. A group of dunmer (pilgrims or sth) running away from some outlaws, Almalexia comes to save them, kills some of the outlaws right there in the cave, others try to flee across the river and drown. She then tells the group to head back to the cave and take some of the outlaw blood, magically crystallized, and then walk across the river safely (*coughwaterwalkcough*). Some time later, they return the crystallized blood to the cave and make a shrine to praise Lady Almalexia.
How does that sound?

Hmm somehow I missed this. I must have skimmed it too much as I dont recall seeing it as a pending claim until now.

So I can finally upload what I've done so far (when did a claim not being granted stop anyone from moding . I've split this into two areas - the temple and the shrine, and the temple is mostly finished - not much more work left there. I kept the basic shell, Jule did a good job with it, but I want to make the shrine itself a bit cave-ier. So here it is.

It's three cells now, and two of them are finished (the temple and the temple dome), only shrine detailing remains, I'll finish that soon too. I've written a book giving the shrine some background story too, so those in charge of that should probably check if it's up to TR standards.

Almas Thirr Temple
Almas Thirr Temple, Dome
Almas Thirr Temple, Bloodstone Shrine (or just Bloodstone Shrine)
