Just to clarify, what's actually been added, and will I need to download this at any point before the next public beta release?

I made a great discovery today. While playing around with the TR interior statics, I found the interior of the domed and the oval domed buildings of Necrom! They are TR_in_v_build01 and TR_in_v_build02. I already tested it and both fit prefectly. That means they only need a retexture and we only need the interior of the necrom watchtower and the necrom lighthouse! I'll start checking Necrom soon and I think I know a few already which should be revoked.

wait, does that mean we are replacing the necrom meshes with standard velothi?

Why not? Is the the Necrom set significantly different from the velothi set?

No, TF, I'm talking about the interiors. I my opinion the exterior can look as Necrommy as possible and it should stay that way. But there still aren't meshes for the interiors. Velothi has been used until now and I suggest we simply replace that somewhere in the future with the Necrom meshes. The key is to make sure that the retextured necrom meshes have the same measurements as the velothi tiles so they can be replaced. As no modder wants to do the Necrom interiors, I suggest that we use velothi tiles and the TR_in_v_build to use for the Necrom interiors. That way we can release Necrom with the rest of the map (map2 wouldn't make sense anyway without Necrom) and replace the interiors later on. We can talk about this very long but as no modder is stepping up to do this we should make some action and use velothi tiles for the interiors.

Wait a second. I remember that Veet had retextured Velothi (or Hlaalu, I'm not sure) interior pieces to match the style of Necrom's exteriors, and they worked fine. As you may remember, he uploaded the files along with screenshots this spring, in the necrom thread of this forum.
I'm against making new interior meshes as well, but a retexture of the velothi ones isn't such a pain in the rear, is it? Since Jellew wants to give it a try and has proved to have the needed skills, let's not take any hasty decisions about Necrom.
Thrignar, would you care to post a brief synopsis of what has been decided about this city so far? Just 4-5 lines. I believe it's worth paying some attention to it, as it's meant to be map2's jewel.

Veet actually made a new Necrom interior tileset. Like so much cool stuff, I don't know if it was uploaded or not.

Well, a few statues which used to have textures and the Sotha Sil and Almalexia shrines are lacking textures. According to the Preview Window anyways.

Preview window's often a bit weird. Try just putting it in a cell, and see how it looks there.
And Haplo, which things have you added? Just checking nothing's been missed.

If the Pilgrimages for Almalexia and Sotha Sil are to go ahead (see thread here: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18529) we might also need to add into TR_Data books about the pilgrimages for both, and to also add some of them to the Maps.

Is there anything to add? It seems just like something that modders would add in their claims.
EDIT - And the trioloths replaced some older ones; the statues should have the right textures too. Of course I may have just royally fucked up those few meshes somehow outside of my knowledge, and I should not update TR_Data ever again.

The Almalexia and Sotha Sil shrines do not have their textures and nor does the Sotha Sil statue, the St. Felms statue and the St. Llothis statue. The same goes for that soldier statue. So... BAD HAPLO!

At the moment there is nothing to add. However if it goes ahead two books detailing the pilgrimages of Sotha Sil and Almalexia will need to be added.

Don't suppose someone else would like to volunteer for updating TR_Data? Since I have neither the inclination nor apparently the skill to do so.

New TR data has been uploadzified!
-Added that Sload's book.
-Fixed the hood and the weights of the Necrom Armor.
-Fixed the mistake Haplo made. That happened to be changing the texture paths instead of not including textures...
EDITIES: Has anything been decided about the Necrom Temple yet? I have been ignoring most discussions lately, so I would like to receive some information on that part :p
Edit2: Hehehe, just noticed that instead of fixing the hood, I messed it up :p Someone had fixed it earlier and I hadn't noticed... So I think someone should make new stuff so that I would have a good reason to upload the thing again... Or just download the TR_Data.esm, I will upload a fixed one there.

What is used for the exterior temple now is an enlarged velothi monastery. It fits quite nicely and certainly is a big improvement over the pyramid. I guess the interior can be made with the new tiles from veets interior set.

All Jellew's stuff's been merged right? And did you ask Nalin about his statues: the Redoran duel-weilder and the cloaked Ordinator, also his Dres Slave Hunter armour. If he still has those, and is okay with including them, that'd be awesome!

I included it with the object claim of the Necrom tower. I hope jellew can fix some of the few errors i saw. But the set is complete, only some of the non-modular interiors need to be textured/meshed. And it is good, check it out for yourself!

'Real-life'tm happened again.
Did I not upload the redoran statue ages ago? If I didn't then I at least know that I did send it over to Kebra in a PM for possible use in Blacklight.
I'm hoping he still has it because (unless it's hiding on some CD hidden in one of the desks here) I don't, unfortunately.
I'm hoping that I can get a hold of the Dres armour (salvaged from an old CD that I knew i'd need some day but still didn't get around to storing it prop'ly). I'll see what I can see...

Two notes on TR_Data things: book "Maps of Molagreahd" has faulty bookart, and has some errors. Also, "Skingrad Wine" has no icon, just a smily face in-game. (Weirdly, the icon shows up properly in the CS)

The maps of molagreadh error may be my fault. The plugin I submiited my new map2 maps in dirtied that book. So if the plugins are just merged, the dirtyness is transferred to TR_data.

I've just realised a possible problem with those trioliths. In what form were they updated to TR_Data? 'Cos ideally they should be uploaded with scripts etc., rather than as just placeholder activators or worse, statics.
I'll upload an .esp with fully finished up shrines in case that's what's happened, so that this .esp can be merged into TR_Data. Hope that's not a problem.
Here's the new .esp. It adds two scripts, two spells, and two activators.
The shrines are now "Shrine of Almalexia's Mercy" and "Shrine of Sotha Sil's Mastery".
They give 5% resistance to weapons and .5x Maximum Magicka boost respectively, for the same duration of the 5 attack boost from Vivec's Fury.
The meshes used are just as Jellew named them (with mis-spelling of Almalexia), and are just under "Meshes", no sub-folders.
The textures are also just as Jellew named them, and are under "Textures/TR", so there is one subfolder.
Hopefully that gives you all you need to know to get these merged correctly.

I noticed a slight problem with the necrom exterior entrance mesh. If you look right at the seam between the part where the door goes and the rounded edge at the front on the top you will notice a slight gap. Screens can be provided if necessary.

Just to make it official: I'm really not in the mood for heavy TESCing, but simple duty like updating TR_Data, I can still do. I have still the files and the batch scripts and everything I need to do it quickly. Just PM me when there are new models or whatever ready for inclusion.
(Of course, I'm perfectly okay with letting Andres Indoril do the job, too.)
Also, same thing for town banners. I've kept my gimp source files so I can quickly create town banners like the ones I made for map 1 and map 2.
My account is set so that an email is sent whenever I get a PM here, so even if you don't see me around here, I'll be notified.
