Really nice! I love how Ruptga's arms make an ouroboros that frames the scene.

I needed a break from my work on another fresco (just can't seem to get it right) so I diddily-doodled some weird quagmire plants which I've been wanting to do for a while.
I know the whole trees looking like humans gimmick has been around since the dawn of graphic horror, but maybe it would look nice in quagmire anyway. I also thought that plants looking like human bodyparts would be pretty disturbing. Don't mind the cheesy names.

Good stuff as always Myzel. I have some advice for your hand mold. Try to make the shape of the hands a little more subtle, like you did with the pose of your trees. I think that will make it more creepy.

You think so? Maybe you're right. Though I know I'd be pretty spooked if I saw a pair of hands stick out of a wall.

Well, there's spooky and then there's cheesy.
But I was thinking that some segmented plants, like bamboos, could look almost like bones. Maybe you could try checking how a skeletal hand bamboo cluster would look like?

*You have successfully gathered Daedra Heart from the Heart Fruit.*
Nice concepts as always, though the hands do need more subtlety.

Here is the fresco I've been working on. I don't know if I should still consider it a WIP or not. There's room for additions, but I'm not sure if any more filler is needed. So I'll let you post your thoughts.
The design is not as intricate as the previous two, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I also had to think twice about the pose I put her in, mainly since it's borrowed from another four-armed deity. In the end I decided to use it with the reasoning:
1. I wanted a front-view.
2. I couldn't use the godess as a frame for a scene like I did with the other two, because there wasn't any scene to frame.
3. All the other front view poses I tried were either boring or awkward.
In the end I'm happy with this decision. It looks natural and is stylistically logical.
Morwha
I might get back on those plants later, but it's not a subject I want to focus on. I just made them for a change of pace.

Very good, clean and beautiful!
But shouldn't Morwha have more tits than that? (And by more, I mean "a greater number of", not "bigger". Though both would be valid, come to think of it.)

I honestly have no idea. I used this thread for reference:
http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17580
The description (from the imperial library) doesn't say anything about boobs. The designs by Lute, Lady N and Pound all have only one pair.

Yes, please use the overweight version of Morwha. Its far better, and its actually lore. There was a (very very bad) model of Morwha in Redguard, and though no details could be determined from it, it was clear she was very fat.
Do love your design, though. We could always make it another god, a made up one.

Young sexy Morwha could probably be used anyway -- maybe as a "Maiden, Mother, Crone" triptych for the aspects of Morwha?
But a big round belly and several pairs of tits make for a more convincing mother-goddess.

Your work will still be used Myzel Though perhaps for a different purpose. It's still a great design. If you're ever unsure about a concept's existing work, feel free to ask. A lot of us store art on our hard drives that may have been lost on the forums for one reason or another.

just an idea - why don't we make your morwha into a patron goddess of kings. The object she's holding does have a crescent in it. Maybe she's the patron for the royal family of Sentinel, kinda like Isis would become the patron goddess of Roman emperors and their families.

I haven't had a lot of time to spare lately, but in the time I did have I managed to produce a rather different fresco this time. I did this one in a few hours, not bothering to put a lot of thought in the design but just making it up as I went along. Because of this it looks a little chaotic. I don't think it looks as good as the previous frescoes, but meh.
I do like the concept of this one: I thought of how to depict the 27 snake folk slaughter, and I realized a nuclear explosion wouldn't be very fitting to depict in a fresco. So I went for a more symbolic depiction in which the Serpent eats the Tower. Those who look closely can also find the constellation named The Ritual.

Pleeeeeeeease direct-link your images, the my.php page of Imageshack is getting worse and worse. I don't care that they say you can't do it, do it anyway. They're not paying any of us to see that page, and we are paying them to see the image, so I'd like to see just the image. I direct-linked your two latest images.

Yeah, it's a very annoying change because the image just doesn't even display anymore for me. So instead I have to right-click on the thumbnail -> display picture, then edit the URL to remove ".th" between the filename and the extension.

Just wanted to say that your concept is really amazing and the fresco's are of such high quality they could be made into textures right now in my opinion.

That's true, actually. I was bored yesterday, so I was messing around in Photoshop a bit. Tried to do some coloring of those designs.
Original Texture (low quality jpg to keep it loadable)
Five minute texture quickly slapped on a wall in Oblivion.
Hope you don't mind, Myzel.

Wow, that looks pretty cool. I would use a bit more different shades on the body to bring out the 'segments' a little more. But it proves that I succeeded fairly well in my intention: designing frescoes that could be easily made into textures.

I'm planning to make some concepts and possibly a fresco of Diagna in the near future (working on a fresco of Tu'whacca atm).
Any advice from the loremongers ( ) or old concepts would be very welcome on that one.
