It's been a Long time since I first wanted to join the project - more than a year ago it was, I believe - and now I'm here. I wish to contribute as a concept-artist. And I'm capable of doing illustrations if the project ever happens to need any.
I'm a Huge fan of the elder scrolls ever since I've first launched Morrowind back in the 2003d.
I can say that I know some lore here and there and some history.

Examples of the stuff I do are on these links:

Wow, nice stuff! I hope they can find a use for you! I know that the concept art section is something that is usually fun and sometimes useful. But I'm assuming you would mostly want to do game quality work, so I'll leave the Big Bad Haplo (or whoever) to come and talk at you.

Hi there, and thanks for your interest in TR. We don't normally promote people to "TR Modder" for concept art these days, but if it is useful and quality art then people are still encouraged to do so Smile Off the top of my head, atmospheric sketches of what different areas of our Dres release might look like will be useful (villages/towns/cities, plantations, the famous Argon jungle, etc.)

Other people might drop in here and suggest my specific requests.

Hey there and thanks greendogo (:
For your quite encouraging words and estimation

Haplo and thank you as well.
So what do I do about these atmospheric sketches? You want me to paint the Argon jungle, for instance?

Right. We have yet to begin exterior work on these parts of Morrowind (and others, but Nemon, our Head of Exteriors, knows that information best). If you were to familiarize yourself with the Dres architectural set in mwgek's Showcase thread, along with existing lore about the Dres and the southern/south-eastern region of Morrowind... atmospheric concepts that you might create based on the above could prove helpful to our exterior modders when they are doing the actual land creation and detailing later on down the road. Even if they end up not looking the same, atmospheric concepts from artists can help inspire all sorts of details and scenes from exterior modders that they otherwise wouldn't imagine.

I'm going to another city tomorrow for a few days, so before I leave here's a little something.

I've read some info about Morrowind's mainland, history and dres, who - from what I've understood - are wealthy slave holder cultivators all in all.
So this is a couple of dres-type-of buildings: a farmer's house, based on the models by Mwgek and a random building of a somewhat more important purpose.

It's nothing special really - these together took me less than ~40 minutes.
And the style turned out to be rather cartoonish on the farmer's one - stuff I do is usually a bit darker, if you take a look (:

Planning to do a few environments and some more buildings, maybe. Investing more time into, surely.

And I also thought about sketching some outfits, why not.

Tell me what you guys think, what you don't and do want to see. Thanks (:

Don't be afraid to throw in something weird or experiment a bit. Concept art can be a rich source of odd ideas.
