Here's the story of the Ungorth: the Ungorth (slayer of Gorth), a type of liquor used by the infamous orc general Rath go-Mukrabh, which has enough punch to kill a man outright if he swallows the content of one entire bottle. Rath challenged Gorth, his brother, to a drinking contest in a victory celebration after a successful raid, and had Rath's Matze bottle filled with Ungorth instead.
Gorth won the contest but lost his life. Rath continued to become the most infanmous Orc marauder, and was eventually slain by Maximus Tracis, a great General under the third Emperor of Tamriel.
It is made from cheap liquor made from Aloe Vera, a herb that is native to Hammerfell and High Rock, which is destilled at least ten times. The Ungorth's alcohol content varies, but it is around 70 to 80%. Also, since the liquor often is made rather badly, it is known to make people blind occasionally.Drinking it always takes a bit of courage, for you never know if you'll live through the experience. A true warrior's liquor!
The Ungorth is ritally drunken on the day when the Orcs celebrate Ornisium's retaking, and generally belongs on every celebration of a victory where orcs are present in larger numbers. It has also gained quite some admirers among Imperial soldiers in border provinces, who often serve together with orc mercenaries - both for the thrill it can deliver, and for the fact that even small amounts can make you dunk really fast, and thus, it lasts a long time, which is important in remote locations, where supplies often arrive only irregularily, if at all.

For now, I'm sleeping in my lightless city beneath the waves.

But someday ... I will be back.
