This claim is not 80% complete, that is for sure. That would mean only 20% remains, and I can't see anything in this WIP that tells me more than a few hours of work has been put into it.

You need to make the roads as per the tutorial we have here at TR. I know you're capable of it because you have been promoted for exterior work. Main roads and especially bricked roads needs proper terrain adjustments, I don't accept sloppiness in terms of how they are made. Roads are placed lower in the terrain than their surroundings, and they need a ton of detailing as well.

Regarding mountains, I take for granted you download other modder's WIPs and finished claims and look at how things are done. Hell, you've seen and commented on our recent screenshots. Our mountainsides require details and statics placed, as well as shading. These mountainsides are empty and void of anything worth looking at, and full of jaggies as well.

You've had this claim for three months now, I'd expect a lot more in terms of details by now.

Revoked due to lack of updates. This claim will be repurposed btw, new description to follow shortly.

Did anyone notice Cormaris is situated at -24,11 but it's coordinates on the claim map are -24,9.
At this moment I can't create the 'short road' between my claim (5-16) and this claim due the steepness of the mountains. It's almost a cliff.

Just finish your claim using the landscape provided in the heightmap and it'll be fine. 5-19 is being repurposed anyway, and your claim is almost finished iirc.

Not granted. You must be a TR Modder, promoted for the required area, to work on claims at Tamriel Rebuilt.

Very first WIP up.

All the terrain completely formed, all the ground textures applied, shading transitions done, roads sunk.
Now to place the objects.
I left the island mostly as it was regarding the terrain; I made it smaller though as it was huge-ass large without any proper reason.
Furthermore, I don't see a reason for Cormar taking up more than 1 cell, totally possible to fit a medium-sized city in one cell, yes?
Alex25, sorry, I couldn't use most of the terrain and ground textures provided here so far. Terrain layout was really unfinished and hadn't received much thought and you already started randomly placing trees which I removed to be able to work on a clear terrain surface before I place anything. Also, when you bordermatch to this claim in 5-2, please keep in mind our height rules regarding snow and stuff. You started adding snowy ground textures nearly at ground level, which is very appropriate that far to the south.

Will finish this claim soon.

You make unstaticed land look sexy.

A small note based entirely on my personal preference though - are you planning on keeping those WG_cobblestones? They looked fine in Baan Malur, but I'm not sure if they'll work well with BM textures ánd Imperial buildings. But you'll probably better decide for yourself here, I'm an ext noob.

Are we still doing the Dreugh cave underneath the island? Or maybe that was just a conversation between me and Adan at some point. My memory is fuzzy.

Oh oh oh, nonono.

Haven't done anything to the island yet, really. I won't leave the cobblestone texture there, it would look fuck-ass ugly together with the Imperial buildings.

One of my ideas for Cormar was that it be based on fishing economics; the Dreugh taught the mer there how to fish long ago, to put it succinctly, and it has since been supported by people like Adan. So I would like for the dreugh to have a presence somewhere in the lake/river/whatever it is now.

I suggested this on IRC in query when you were away but you logged off, so I'm not sure if you read it - consider using in_boneboulders and in_bone_rocks (08 through 18 in particular) to make coral, I think that'd look totally awesome.

Please upload a WIP with the Cormaris version as showed in this picture: http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/2531/cormar.jpg so we can continue based on that version.

Replacing everything with scamps is somewhat funny, but not very helpful.

No, I am not uploading that.

Iunno Haplo, some ruined outpost cliche thing. Can be deleted if you so desire.
I guess it'd be a very old outpost to have a nice overview of the whole area before they built the city itself, and with that it became redundant and abandoned over the time.

I'll pick this up since I had some connection with it before. Should there be any rules to follow on Cormaris? I recall a redo in colony set?

Granted.

No colony set, it looks stupid with the half assed snow on the roofs, and due to volcanic activity in the seabed around this island it's not that cold.

See the other thread for new post (shortly).

I got some preliminary stuff done but that was about it. Semester is on so I'm waiting till I get into a rhythm with my new schedule. I'd like to get the island near to finished over the next week or two.

Hey all. I seriously underestimated my workload this semester. Since I'm graduating in the spring I'll be working on my senior thesis, and it's looking like a lot more work than I expected initially. That said, I'm still trying to find time to mod, so unless this is high priority I'd like to have some more time with it if thats ok.

Nvm guys. You're going to have to revoke this. Until the semester ends I won't have any time for modding. I was hoping to find some time, but its just not coming up. Graduating is becoming a really involved process.

Le claim.

Will probably mostly work on doing Cormar, but anything is better than nothing.

To what degree is this a Hlaalu city? I do recall the conversation on IRC about Hlaalu having chartered this area through the Empire, and so it's Hlaalu in influence. Any way this should be reflected?

Dunno if I am in the position to say that, but it'd be very nice if you'd only do Cormar and the seafloor as the rest of the claim was 100% finished :v

I think we decided on common tileset with a moderate imp_keep at the end of the village as an HQ.

Ok, finally got a chance to have a look. It's nice, looking good and all - just remember to detail the shit out of that seafloor, tons of sunken areas with details and stuff. This seafloor is supposed to be quite rich on interesting stuff, seascape (lulz) and rock formations. Oh and lava.
