TR_Mainland Download and Updating

Post by arvisrend »

This is the thread where new (internal) versions of TR_Mainland.esp (we don't use the ESM internally except in release versions) are to be posted, along with change logs. As a consequence, this is also the thread where you can download the latest version of the TR_Mainland.esp. (Look at the end of the thread for the newest version.)

For downloaders:

Please note that the latest TR_Mainland.esp often needs the latest version of TR_Data to run, which is not always the version from the previous public release.

PLEASE DON'T REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD; they'll just be forgotten. For bugs we have the public beta testing forum, and the SE Alpha thread (for things that we don't want to discuss in public).

For uploaders:

Before you start doing any changes on TR_Mainland.esp, please consult with Haplo or Thrignar Fraxix(TF) for permission.

Please ensure that you have the latest version of TR_Data installed, or else your edits might ruin some work previously done by others.

Tools like Enchanted Editor tend to corrupt the file and should never be used to edit TR_Mainland.esp. We trust TESDTK, TESAME, and tes3cmd (though it is somewhat too easy to delete the wrong stuff in TESAME!).

You can use Dropbox or mediafire to upload your file.

How do we make sure that no two people are editing TR_Mainland.esp simultaneously? When one of us (say, Notling) edits the file, she changes her nickname on IRC (#tamriel) to "Notling|mainland" (and stays on #tamriel for the whole time until uploading her version). So if you want to edit the file, please check on #tamriel first whether you'll really be the only one to do so.

Please post a detailed change log along with your changed file. This is something that has become necessary with version 1.2, because some teams are now translating our works into different languages, and they should be able to easily adapt the translations to newer releases. Here is the level of detail required (all examples are purely fictional):
Cell 13, -14: several floaters and caspers corrected.
Cell 15, -17: some floaters corrected; a dozen of objects submerged under rocks removed.
Cell 16, -20: Added more rocks along a barren cell border, and fixed some minor land gaps.
Cell "Cephorad Keep": revamped path grid.
Dialogue topic "Master Vaerin": reply "My brother is greatly skilled at the magical schools of Destruction, Conjuration and Alteration." edited (Destruction replaced by Illusion).
Dialogue topic "mazte": grammar fixes.
Dialogue topic "Dadadrome": all mentions of "Dadadrome" replaced by "Dadrunibi" (as the cell was renamed), including the topic name.
Script TR_m3_aselyon_ent_i3-472-ind: optimizations made.
Script TR_m2_q_TTShrine2_Script: shrine message edited.
Script TR_m2_q_A9_4_VorithScript: added TR_map variable.
Weapon TR_m1_w_orcish_longsword_flame: balanced damage stats.
NPC TR_m2_O_Celerin: loot increased, "auto-calc stats" unchecked.
NPC TR_m2_o_Delna: spells rebalanced, removed script.
Note that "grammar fixes" didn't need much details because it doesn't matter to translators anyway, but if you correct typos in proper names, you should point that out (many people fail to notice that).

WTF has happened here? Some versions ago, these rocks were resting fine, but then something has noticeably increased their z-coordinate.
Is it possible that one can change the coordinates of references in pathgrid mode? In that case, it looks like this was my making when I fixed the pathgrids on the Peninsula.

Actually fixing the Dun Akafell interiors would mean decreasing the tilesets to at least .75. For some reason I am going to assume you did not do that.

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

NPC TR_m2_O_Akavorioc: no longer respawns, but now corpses-persists and has more loot.
Activators: new activator TR_act_banner_roris01_arnes for use in Necrom.
Cell 44, -11: replaced static TR_furn_banner_roris03 by activator TR_act_banner_roris01_arnes.
Cell 38, 5: casperer fixed.
Cell 45, -13: casperer fixed.
Cell "Port Telvannis, Redram Oran's House": removed book TR_bk_AboveItAll (it was too easy to find and free to take); replaced one barrel_01_drinks by a barrel_01_empty (there were too many drinks already); replaced a barrel with ingredients by a barrel with cheap foods (TR_barrel_02_CheapFoo20); added books sc_daydenespanacea, TR_bk_KindledSpiritVol4 and TR_bk_EtiquetteWithRulers, misc item Misc_SoulGem_Lesser and clothing "amulet of rest".
Cell "Port Telvannis, Redram Oran's House": removed all ownership (the owner is dead).
Cell "Port Telvannis, Odrethi Manor": de-owned door.
Cell "Tel Aranyon, Lower Tower": de-owned doors and banners.
Cell "Llothanis, Midean's Healing Shop": un-owned "com_sack_01_moon sugar5" (otherwise he would sell it, which looks stupid given that he refuses to trade with a player who has moon sugar); also, un-owned doors.
Cell "Sassanibat's Yurt": items are now owned.
Cell "Asohaldan Grotto": renamed cell "Grotto - Asohaldan" as "Asohaldan Grotto".
Cell "Falanos Ancestral Tomb": renamed cell "Falanos Tomb" as "Falanos Ancestral Tomb".
Cell "Verulas Pass, Neldam Volothre: Trader": de-owned ingred_moon_sugar_01 (lest Neldam Volothre would sell it), two com_sack_02_msugar2's (for the same reason), various activators and the exit door.
Cell "Sinramen Monastery": de-owned a door and several activators (gongs and bells).
Cell "Akamora, Guard Tower": de-owned the gong.
NPC "TR_m2_Jonas Callodus": changed faction to TR one.
Quest TR_M1_GS_MQ_5: stages 80 and 85 are now finishers; grammar fixed in stage 90.
Topic "Rilas Dralethan": in reply "He payed me good money for what [...]", replaced "Said he's called in one of the manors" by "Said he's in one of the manors".
Journal TR_m2_Nm_House: replaced "Salvarys House" by "House Salvarys".
Topic "Salvarys Tomb": replaced "Salvarys House" by "House Salvarys".
Greeting 5: replaced "Salvarys House" by "House Salvarys"; replaced "Mora House" by "House Mora".
NPC TR_m3_Relam_Indoran: changed class from Ordinator to Warrior so as to avoid stupid replies.
Service Refusal: Hessei-Lig's service refusal line "Sorry, I am only allowed to transport members of the Mages Guild, and high-ranked officers of the Imperial Legion." has been deleted completely (he now transports everyone just as in vanilla).
NPC TR_m1_Hessei_Lig: script changed to TR_m1_NPC (the previous script was used only for his service refusal, but I made him no longer refuse service).
Greeting 7: Reply "What are you doing here, stranger? My services are for guild members only. [...]" by NPC TR_m1_Hessei_Lig modified since he now offers services to anyone. New version: "Greetings, %PCClass. I can send you to the Mages Guild chapters on the Mainland for a fair price. Other than that, I fear I don't have much to offer a non-member of the Guild, and I do not have the right to let you join the Mages Guild either; you should talk about that to a guild steward at an actual Chapter."
Greeting 1: Reply "Thank you again for your aid, %PCName." by NPC TR_m1_Himnatis no longer has goodbye as a result.
Topic "lend a helping hand": Reply "You have been highly effective. It is not so often that I stumble upon a kindred spirit in these lands." added for NPC TR_m1_Himnatis, conditioned by "local control == 10".
Topic "proposition": replaced "dunno" by "don't know" in second "Master Mithras has a proposition for me? [...]" reply.
Topic "slaves": replaced "This should increase our production no end" by "This should increase our production tremendously" in reply "Indeed. While you were gone, [...]" by NPC TR_m1_T_Mithras.
Topic "someone in particular": reply "If you need supplies you should see Dalam Rethre at "Hides, Chains, Plates, & Blades" or pay a visit to Golam Danoran, the trader." is now also conditioned by "Not ID TR_m2_Dalam_Rethre == 1" and "Not ID TR_m2_Golam_Danoran == 1".
Script TR_m1_Q59_MaI_Script_3: some changes, mainly added GetLOS instructions to avoid "Who's There?" forcegreetings.
Script TR_m1_Q59_MaI_Script_4: some changes, mainly added GetLOS instructions to avoid "Who's There?" forcegreetings.
Topic "destination": the reply by NPC "TR_m1_Dedave_Atherayn" is now "If you want to go to Tel Ouada, Alt Bosara or Port Telvannis comfortably and for a fair price, climb atop my strider.".
Topic "heavy burden": in the result script of the final reply ("I would be glad to carry 50 Septims for you. [...]"), replaced the choice "I'm not giving 50 Septims to you, thief!" by "I'm not giving a single coin to you, thief!" (stylistic reasons).

-------------------------

Note that these are pretty small fixes. Some of Malchik's and Theo's quest bugs still remain uncorrected.

Could you just say "fixed some floaters, northmarker, light settings" perhaps? Or describe if some of the fixes were for very special things such as unmatched interior/exterior, and let the rest be summed up as floater/bleeder/casper?

Re: TR_Mainland Download and Updating

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

Topic "interior task": Response "Ha! Five percent? [...]" had its result modified (now: Choice "What if I pay you the equivalent of the militia's bounty as well?" 3 "We are not haggling, Joran." 4). This is to address the first bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 .

Topic "interior task": New response "Not my intent, %PCName. Nothing personal -- I am just following the money, and I don't think the Guild can compete with Jorval these days.", conditioned to ID = TR_m2_Joran and function choice == 4. This is to address the first bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 .

Topic "Saruse Evenas": Response "Our client summoned a winged twilight, Daedric servant of Azura, but it broke free of his control. The daedra ran off out of town to the northeast, up the northern road at the fork east of town, and took his staff with it. Saruse tracked it to the cave of Galseah, but that place was already overflowing with daedra. That was too much for him to handle. Your job is to kill this twilight and return the staff to Saruse." replaced by "Our client summoned a winged twilight, but it broke free of his control. The daedra ran off out of town to the south, and took his staff with it. Saruse tracked it to the cave of Galseah, which is across the bay from Helnim, about halfway to Marog; but that place was already overflowing with daedra. That was too much for him to handle. Your job is to kill the twilight and return the staff to Saruse." to fix path description (third bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 ).

Topic "potential contract": reply "Your first option is to kill our [...]" has been changed to "Your first option is to kill our rivals, the Dolthernul family. Their deaths will allow me to establish my influence further. If you are not quite so eager to go beyond the law, there is a rogue Telvanni by the name of Neloreth Selyn who resides in Assurbalhet. You can reach this Velothi tower if you levitate up the cliffs northwest of Heleran's Lodge; the Mzankh ruin is not far from the entrance. Return to me when you have completed either task and I will sign the contract." in order to correct path description (fourth bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 ).

Topics "errand", "notes on racial phylogeny", "leopold dufrese", "misinath ulvam", "ingredients": All these topics used to have responses of the form "I will not talk about this with you until you make amends" (with or without period at the end) covering situations when the player was expelled from the IC in the middle of the quest. They have been replaced by either "I will not talk about this with you until you make amends and rejoin the Imperial Cult." or "I will not discuss this with you until you make amends and rejoin the Imperial Cult." or "You have been expelled from the Cult. If you are serious about doing any work, make amends and rejoin the Imperial Cult." or "We can't entrust you with any errands until you rejoin the Imperial Cult." or "You should make amends and rejoin the Imperial Cult before we have anything to discuss again." or "You have been expelled. Until you rejoin the Imperial Cult, we don't need to discuss this." or "You should rejoin the Imperial Cult before we can talk about this."

Topic "Advancement": replaced %PCNextRank by the correct %NextPCRank in several replies. This is a vanilla bug copied into TR.

Greeting 5 beginning with "W-We did it? [...]" by NPC "TR_m2_Tarbus Norin" now has "journal TR_m2_Wil_AvengeKnights 120" added to its dialogue result. (Fixes the sixth bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 .)

Topic "take vengeance": two typos fixed (seventh bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 ).

Script "TR_m1_q_RR_MQ_MithrasDouble": accounted for possible failure of GetSoundPlaying (ninth=last bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 ).

Script "TR_m2_q_12_Merias_Inn": fixed fifth bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 .

Globals TR_Kick_FG, TR_Kick_IC, TR_Kick_TG, TR_Kick_TT: all set to 0 (eightth bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 ).

Enchantment TR_w_VadensFang: set charge amount to 1620. (Fixes bugreport at http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=309070#309070 .)

NPC "TR_m2_O_Tedril Draren": set Flee AI to 30 (was 75). It's a quest enemy, I don't want him to run away and fall into some hole.

Cell 25, 8: casperer fixed.

Cell "Selas Ancestral Tomb": de-levelscaled enemies.

Cell "Indalas Ancestral Tomb": de-levelscaled enemies.

Cell 30, 5: de-levelscaled a skeleton enemy.

File cleaned using tes3cmd.

Leon, nothing personal, but "detailed" is not concrete enough, and I'd like to know what kinds of changes you did. Don't list every rock you added, but say that you added rocks (or parasols, or trees, or removed a critter - why, by the way?). And while your changes don't seem to make anything worse, it looks to me like small-step detailing won't help these cells very much; it's the overall lack of artistic quality that makes them bland and boring, not the lack of rocks or hackle-lo plants. Eventually some of them might get redone from scratch (once we're done with maps 3 to 6) rather than slightly improved.

If you want to push this project forward in a much more visible way, please take the little bit of time you need and try the reviewer test for the third time. (TF says your second try was already better than the first, but you still missed some elephants in the room.) You don't need to buy a better microscope to find more bugs; I am sure you have already found everything that floats or caspers in there. Think of every item which is not as common as a fork or plate as telling a story. Some of them tell some very wrong stories... (If you haven't played Morrowind for a long time, you might not remember all of their stories.)

Leon: It is sad that this had to go this way. Unfortunately there is no way for me to convince you that the reviewer test and the requirement to document changes are not mere chicanes, given that you seem completely dogged to believe that they are. Let it be known that what you did on the file was of great use to TR, although I still stand by the assessment that it could have gone wrong and that you should have documented things. If you think that our requirements on someone who does changes to others' work are too stringent and are unwilling to accept them, then unfortunately it is indeed better if you don't make changes to others' content; after all, you are already contributing to TR with your own claims.

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

Cell 37, -14: fixed caspering rocks.

Cell 36, -14: fixed caspering rock.

Cell 38, -14: fixed caspering rocks.

Cell 38, -15: fixed abrupt ground texture change.

Cell 39, -15: fixed abrupt ground texture change.

Cell 38, -17: unearthed some buried whickwheat.

Cell 31, 0: fixed caspering rocks.

Cell "Amthuandz": removed each and every levelled critter. This is a Dwemer ruin inhabited by scholars and imperial guards, with no secret rooms; there shouldn't be monsters here (particularly monsters too tough for the guards to handle).

Cell 15, 25 (Bahrammu): replaced two leveled creatures by a netch and a scrib. (Too close to a settlement for daedra and stuff like that.)

Topic "Nobura Tayo": The response "I heard that you found it in Dun Akafell and sold it to Rilas Dralethan. I'd very much like to go and see it; it is supposed to be incredibly beautiful." is now conditioned to: Class "Savant", Cell "Akamora", Journal TR_m2_Ak_Gem = 100.

Topic "Nobura Tayo": The response "A magnificent ruby taken from the crown of Ada'Soom Dir-Kamal. Apparently it was recently found in the ruins of Dun Akafell by an adventurer working for some noble in Akamora. It's name means 'rising sun' in the lanugage of the Kamal, and it is supposed to be as beautiful as the sunrise." now is conditioned to: Class "Savant", Local TR_Map < 4, Journal TR_m2_Ak_Gem = 100.

Script TR_m2_q_20_Joran: rewritten to ensure that the player getting a bounty is properly recorded for later use in dialogue. (I am not sure why the old script was functioning at all: how did OnPCHitMe detect the NPC getting taunted and attacking the player before the player could strike back? Anyway, it's using GetWeaponDrawn now.)

Journal TR_M2_FG_Joran entry 25: Now it's "Hartise thanked me for sabotaging Joran's plans to join the militia, and payed double the amount of the bounty for assault."

Topic "interior task": New response "I had set aside 40 gold for the bounty I was sure you would incur, but you did not even get your hands dirty. You did really well, %PCName! Here's the reward. Once you feel ready for the next contract, just ask." from Hartise conditioned on controlQ == 1. (This takes care of the second bug in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=308888#308888 .)

Re: TR_Mainland Download and Updating

Post by arvisrend »

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

Region "Western Hills": deleted (was never used).

Region "Sacred Land region": deleted (was never used).

Region "Inner Sea Region -Map2": deleted, first changing all its cells to "Inner Sea Region".

[I have done nothing about Helnim Fields and other regions. They are a more complex matter, as they have different weather settings from the regions in TR_data and sometimes this might be intentional.]

Cell 19, 23: caspering rocks fixed.

Script "TR_m2_q_20_GuarCount": now checking for cell "Helnim" rather than "Helnim Fields Region".

Cell 36, 17: de-levelscaled one monster too close to civilization.

Cell 32, 20: replaced a Telvanni-isles leveled creature by a regular (tr_stat_wild) one. (This is the Isle of Arches, not really the Telvanni Isles, so I don't think it should spawn ghosts, daedra, centurions and lich, even with percentile-level probabilities.)

Cells 28, -9; 28, -8; 27, -9; "Pamuni Tunnel"; "Kogo'Bal Ruin"; "Pamashibabua Cavern": replaced leveled dridrea with static ones (in one case with two spawnlings). No dridrea matriarchs have been placed since these take LOTS of space (in the caves they wouldn't even fit) and are too overpowered for random enemies imho (even in the Valley of Mephala). There are some in the Shambalu int, though.

Cell "Hassulsallusalkit, Shrine": some de-levelscaling done.

Cell 34, -13: caspering rocks fixed.

Script "TR_m1_q50_GO5_cultist_scpt": now doesn't rely on GetSoundPlaying.

Greeting 5: typo fix in a greeting of TR_m2_q_18_Hjotra.

Greeting 1: typo fix in two greetings of TR_m1_q50_go5_cultist.

Script "TR_m2_q_18_Hjotra_Script": now doesn't rely on GetSoundPlaying (and does some expected things like removing her disease when she is supposedly healed).

Script "TR_m2_q_5_Staron": no longer relies on GetSoundPlaying.

Scripts "TR_m2_script_g1_i327", "TR_m2_script_g2_i327", "TR_m2_script_g3_i327", "TR_m2_script_g4_i327": no longer rely on GetSoundPlaying.

Container TR_i2_238_chest_healer: fixed typo in name.

Book TR_bk_i2-25-Bonewalkerbook: fixed two typos.

Misc Item TR_m3_i3_316_prisonkey: fixed typo in name.

NPC TR_m1_Fusath_Relyan: no longer has autocalc spells, but now sells summon hunger and summon winged twilight (we had no merchants for those in mainland).

Book TR_m2_book_note3_i327: fixed grammar ("However, know that this mighty prize will outlast he" -> "However, know that this mighty prize will outlast you", although I can only guess that this is what was meant).

Script TR_m2_Jeela: one less variable.

NPC "TR_m3_Charna graMohl": now sells an unlimited supply of (certain) ales and some food.

Topic "sad songs": typo corrected.

Greeting 7: Greeting "Ah, another friendly face! Looking for a warm meal or a comfortable bed? I can fix you up!" by NPC "TR_m3_Charna graMohl" has been split into two greetings, depending on "Talked to PC": if Talked to PC == 0, then response "Ah, another friendly face! This inn offers the most comfortable beds in the Bog -- and as it happens, some of them are free. I also sell food and beverages. Interested?"; otherwise, response "Looking for a warm meal or a comfortable bed? I can fix you up!" (with "addtopic beds" as result, just in case).

Container TR_m1_con_corpse20_PIR: removed all contents except for ingred_bonemeal_01. There are some physical limits on how much a skeleton (and this is one) can carry without it being visible...

Cell 36, 8: added some loot next to the three dead pirates (TR_m1_con_corpse20_PIR).

Leveled list TR_Random_wep_PIRATE: removed (too much variation in there, with weapons ranging from iron to daedric).

Cell "Jongala": de-levelscaled.

Leveled creature TR_r_Jongala: removed.

New TR_Data necessary for any further edits.

Script TR_m2_q_10_SaveSlaveEscape: slightly optimized.

Cell 21, -1: caspering rocks fixed.

Cell "Akamora, Guild of Mages": rotated a door by 180° to avoid it bumping into an NPC when opened. Also, moved NPCs around.

Cells 38, -9; 38, -10; 37, -10: some submerged items either removed or made visible. (These are all in the cliffs behind the Sacred Lands Sanctuary. There might be more.)

NPC TR_m3_Fothas_Bradyn (Smith in Sailen): now sells TR_a_RightBlacksmith.

Journal TR_m2_TM_SadSong_a stage 100: now reads "After Simund's speedy conversion, he and Attia have been happy together. To show his gratitude, Simund gave me an enchanted sword and promised he'll only sing happy songs from now on."

Topic "sad songs": two replies replaced by "Yes, my friend, it happened! All thanks to you, my friend -- and by the grace of the Nine -- Attia and I have met and are now happily married. Here, you can have this as a sign of my gratitude. Thank you again!".

NPC TR_m1_Taldasi_Menguren: no longer autocalc (he sells spells).

---------------------------------------------------------

Cleaning out a region with either CS or TESAME seems to corrupt the ESP file. Helnim Fields issue unresolved (but there is no crash anymore due to a change in that script).

I had no time to fix Glisp's bugreport, as testing it is a fucking pain.

The Indoril stairs don't seem to be in the data! Can't do anything about them then.

I wanted to put a slightly scripted bandit camp into a lonely place on map 2-3, but I guess this can wait until I am not in a hurry.

Greeting 1: Added new greeting "I did?... Oh, I see, right. But... can't we wait for your friend to come closer?" for NPC TR_m1_Mashug_gro_Dugal, conditioned to Journal TR_m1_FG_FindMashug >= 20, Journal TR_m1_FG_Stalker == 30 and Function Choice == 2, and with result script "Goodbye". Also, changed the result script of the same NPC's greeting "Who's your friend, %PCName?". (See the file for the script; I am not copying it here.) This SHOULD fix Glisp's first bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=309034#309034 .

Dialogue topic "Background": response by NPC TR_M3_Danoso_Dunsalipal: replaced "The sacrifice was worth the return." by "It was worth the sacrifice."

NPC TR_m2_Kah-Meelai: now sells an unlimited supply of repair stuff.

Cell 16, 18: fixed caspering rocks.

Cells 37, -16; 25, -22; 29, -22; 31, -12; 31, -11; 30, -12; 30, -11: replaced EX_MH_steps_01 by TR_ex_ind_stair06. Note that this is not a panacea for all of Akamora's stairway problems!

Cell 43, 12: fixed caspering rock.

Cells 34, -10; 35, -10: New bandit camp with two newly created bandits (TR_m2_o_Filwen and TR_m2_O_Liranit_Eseroth), one of them with an extra script. They are not supposed to be easy. Feel free to test for balancing (and floaters). At the moment, none of the NPCs knows how to levitate, since levitating NPCs apparently are even worse at navigation than walking NPCs in Morrowind (which means a lot).

The rest of the problems are those of different models bonanza'd at eachother conflicting with the collision. Nothing we can do about this.

Land tear? Or mismatched landscape alignment between two cells? What I mean with land tear (my take on it at least) is when an entire cell has either a steep, terrible ridge or drop, straight through the entire cell - OR when the landscape in the cell seems to have dropped some distance below the statics. These are usually impossible to fix, due to some weird stuff happening with the cell records.

Topic "specific place": added new response "I am not a local, %PCRace. As an outlander, you might be interested in the Guilds, but other than that, I fear I cannot help you." for NPC "TR_m2_Mebestian Stoine" before the generic "You are currently in my manor [...]" reply.

Topic "someone in particular": added new response "As for me, I have come here to visit Rilas Dralethan. He is a welcoming host, so I suggest you talk to him, more so as he isn't an unimportant person in this town himself." before the generic "There are many people of importance here in Akamora [...]" reply.

Cell 32, -1: moved out of the way a rocks cluster that kept an NPC from following his quest AI.

Script TR_m2_q_9_DreynisScript: minor optimization.

Script TR_m2_q_9_VilynScript: modified to fix rare bug.

NPC "TR_m2_Audania Ranius": restocks on f00d and b00ze. And despite being a bartender, she no longer is armed with a bottle.

Cell "Dun Akafell, Chapel Altar": fixed bleeder.

Creature TR_M2_lich_lorddrolar: no longer respawns. (It's a named lich.)

Cell "Dungra": replaced a slaughterfish by a respawning one.

Cell "Nerethi Ancestral Tomb": de-levelscaled.

I wanted to do some serious fixes, but didn't get around to do them again. Why, in case you are reading this here: should I move the Nobura Tayo vampire to the chapel altar backroom?

Various ints: doors set to no ownership. (I keep noticing these barely relevant issues since I'm playing Morrowind in tfh mode.)

NPC TR_m1_Rocconius_Rone: now restocks on common clothing.

Cell 33, 10: caspering root fixed. Also, doormarker out of "Llothanis, Erick's Smithy" moved so that player isn't stuck anymore.

Cell "Port Telvannis, The Avenue: Subterranean Balconies": unowned containers in rentable room.

Cell 39, 17: flora_kreshweed_02 moved out of a rock.

Cell 37, 15: fixed floater.

Cell "Relvenim Ancestral Tomb": de-levelscaled.

Leon, what does de-levelscaling mean for you? For me, it could have meant replacing TR_LC_Kagouti_... by TR_stc_kagouti (so that level-1 noobs don't get a free ride), for example (we don't have a good substitute for TR_r_Boethian_Mountains_land-2 right now, because I haven't been caring for the Boethian Mountains; in any case, the levelscaling down there isn't really bad). If you just removed a monster, please say "removed a monster".

Cell "The Inn Between": gave most items ownership.

Various cells: fixed floaters, casperers, submerged references. This handles the bugs reported in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=310209#310209 .

NPC TR_m2_Killed_02_Adv: removed script (this NPC is dead).

NPC TR_m2_O_Sulani: no longer respawns (this was a vampire).

Cell 36, -25: replaced two roamers by named bandits with handpicked loot (and slightly lower levels).

NPC TR_m3_O_Drithnil_Valen: new outlaw for cell 36, -25.

NPC TR_m3_O_Sulen_Amardas: new outlaw for cell 36, -25.

NPC TR_m3_Manus: added more restocking warez.

Cell 31, -20: caspering rocks fixed.

Cell "Kilvurcard": deleted two leveled creatures (they made no sense down there).

Various cells: removed ownership on some doors and activators.

Cell 23, 6: replaced two land creatures inexplicably placed in the sea by dreugh and slaughterfish.

Cell 20, 8: grounded a floating kelp; removed vertexshading that abruptly ends at cell border.

Cell 32, -25: replaced roamers by named bandits.

NPCs TR_m3_O_Treya_Tilvayn and TR_m3_O_Reron_Amardas: created to replace roamers (see above).

Leveled list TR_M2_S6_Roamers: removed.

Cell 39, -21: added pathgrids for bandit camp; replaced roamers by named bandits.

NPCs TR_m3_O_Amili_Savil, TR_m3_O_Ulven_Savil, TR_m3_O_Llandras_Andus, TR_m3_O_Endase_Maloren: created to replace roamers (see above).

Cell "Sailen, Idroso Menas' House": Replaced the rather pointless TR_m3_bk_researchnotes_c_i3-650 books by Poison Songs (with a Waters of Oblivion hidden inbetween). Also, added new locked door so as not to make this too easy.

Cell "Helnim, Warehouse": fixed hole between wall and doorjamb.

Cell 25, -2: fixed casperer.

NPCs "TR_m2_Varvsa Romori" and "TR_m2_Relur Selvayn": these traders now have wares.

Didn't do much in the way of bugfixing, but removed a number of old TR relics lingering uselessly in the file.

- Cell "Helnim, Helnim Hall": moved a door to leave less of a gap between it and the doorframe.

- Cell "Hesadsadshamallu, Shrine": fixed seam in the ground, hopefully without adding a seam in the ceiling.

- Cell "Berantus": Added more bars to the slavepen.

- Cells 24, 18; 25, 18 (both Tel Ouada): removed leveled water creatures, partly replaced by barfish. Water creatures that close to a town make guards fall into the water when the player gets attacked, and in Tel Ouada they don't always find the way back.

- Cell "Firewatch, The Howling Noose": moved two doors.

- Cell 31, -11: pathgrid fix.

- Cell 30, -11: pathgrid fix.

- Cell "The Reckless Maiden, Cabin": added pathgrid.

- Cell "Helnim, Helnim Hall: East Empire Company Headquarters": the beds are now EEC-owned.

- Cell 24, -9: caspering rocks fixed.

- Container TR_m2_cont_chest_e_i323: now has non-leveled non-random stuff in it (this fixes rot's second bugreport in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=310462#310462 , about Uradas Vendal selling way too good items).

- NPC TR_m1_Elmonder: no longer autocalcs stats to avoid 4th bug reported by rot in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=310462#310462 .

- Script TR_m1_q_IC_2_Elmonder: slightly modified to be really on the safe side.

- Topic "Mistress Rathra": typo fixed.

- Script TR_m1_q_GuarScript: modified to fix bug reported by Leon in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=311195#311195 .

- Creature TR_m1_SA_FG_guar: set to corpses persist to avoid regression caused by above bugfix.

- Creature TR_m1_SA_FG_guar_free: added to avoid regression caused by above bugfix.

- Script TR_m1_q_GuarFreeScript: added to avoid regression caused by above bugfix.

[What I did to the guar quest was basically making sure that the 4 guars on the farm before the quest are completely different from the 4 guars during/after the quest, so that killing them in advance doesn't change anything.]

- Creature TR_m1_TORat: deleted (it is never used).

- Creature TR_m1_Ulian_lich: deleted (it is never used).

- Creature TR_m1_PTVault_Vermai: deleted (it was never used; the Vermai guardians in the Port Telvannis vaults are TR_m1_Vermai_PT).

- Enchanting TR_m1_NR1_ghostSet: deleted (it is never used).

- Creature TR_m1_NR1_Lich: deleted (it is never used).

- Cell "Ruinous Crypt": activator TR_m1_NR1_script_rock (unscripted despite its name) replaced by static boulder.

- Activator TR_m1_NR1_script_rock: removed (it is never used now).

- Activators TR_m1_mqg_pyb00_ya, TR_m1_mqg_pyb01_ya, TR_m1_mqg_pyb02_ya, TR_m1_mqg_pyb03_ya, TR_m1_mqg_pyb04_ya, TR_m1_mqg_pyb05_ya: deleted. (They were activator versions of in_pyboulder00-05, and never used.)

- Activators TR_m3-138_furn_shrine_Alma_cure, TR_m3-138_furn_shrine_Soth_cure: deleted. (Nothing of value was lost here. First of all i3-138 is the Necrom Lighthouse and not accessible ingame. Second, these aren't used even in the Lighthouse. Finally, they are exact duplicates of existing shrines.)

- Creature TR_m2_Rat_dead: deleted (it was unused and not even dead).

- Creature TR_m1_vermai_Rilvin: deleted (it was unused).

- Cell 25, 19: removed activator TR_m1_SA_FG_Q1_counter (it does nothing).

- Activator TR_m1_SA_FG_Q1_counter: removed (no longer used).

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

- Cell 32, 20: fixed two casperers.

- Cell "Vallen-Dun Eggmine, Lower Level": moved a door to leave less space with the doorjam.

- Cell 24, -9: casperer fixed.

- Cell 30, 0: floating kreshweed fixed.

- Various cells: doors and activators unowned.

- Cell "Jenigan Cave": this mediumsize cave (not far from Tel Mothrivra) used to have 21 leveled creatures. Rebalanced.

- Topic "errand": Response "This is an affront against Kynareth, who cares for all things in nature. Although they may act violently towards you, I want you to heal these alit. You'll have to take some kind of calming spell or scroll with you, so be careful." amended to "This is an affront against Kynareth, who cares for all things in nature. Although they may act violently towards you, I want you to heal these alit. You'll have to take some kind of calming spell or scroll with you, so be careful. The plantation is a short walk east of Tel Ouada, and will lie along the way to the town if you choose to go by foot." to give the player directions.

- Cell 27, 17: casperer fixed.

- Greetings 1 and 5: moved two greetings ("Oh. It's you... I'm watching you, %PCRace." and "Wah! What have you done to me!"; both conditioned to NPC TR_m1_Arrell) from Greeting 5 to Greeting 1. Translators please be careful since I've been using Copy rather than New, so one of them might have replaced a greeting by TR_m1_Viccia_Hateria which might now have a different ID.

- Greetings 1 and 5: moved one greeting ("Ah, thank you, %PCName. I thought I would never get down again! That just shows how careful you've got to be, to be a successful mage. I think I'll take things more slowly from now on. Thank you again for your help, %PCName. Here, take this ring, one of my latest experiments in enchantment." by NPC TR_m1_Viccia_Hateria) from Greeting 5 to Greeting 1. This greeting now also has a new instruction in the result.

- Greeting 1: Since I'm already messing with TR_m1_Viccia_Hateria's greetings-1, I changed both of their results and conditions. In particular, this fixes a useless (and confusing) "goodbye" in the result script of her greeting "Hey, %PCRace! Look up! I'm stuck up here!".

- Script TR_m1_q_MGVicciaScript: changed to rot's (completely revamped) version and modified further (e. g., hardened the "ForceGreeting" instructions with "if ( getLOS Player == 1 )" conditions).

- NPC TR_m1_Viccia_Hateria: removed autocalc stats, increased health and acrobatics because who knows.

- Topic "Viccia Hateria is missing": added new response "With the spell in hand, you should be on your way to Bal Oyra to help your guildmate along." for NPC TR_m1_Banviris on quest stage TR_m1_MG_3 == 40 in order to avoid a slightly illogical response at this stage.

- Journal TR_m2_TG_rumor: new stage (10). It says "Valtio, a Redguard bard in Helnim, has tried to recruit me into Helnim's Thieves' Guild. Supposedly I am to mention to Falkoth the clothier that "the bard sent me", and he will bring me into the loop. Another question is whether I want to join this honorable organization..."

- Greeting 7: The three recruitement greetings by NPC TR_m2_Valtio ("You have a certain walk about you, [...]", but not the last one) now set journal TR_m2_TG_rumor to 10.

- Weapon "TR_m1_w_Gambler_Spirit_UNIQUE": This was a sucky version of the chitin dagger (lower stats), enchanted with constant effect light 10. What this has to do with gamblers will probably remain a mystery. Anyway, deleted since unused.

- Enchantment "TR_m1_dagger_q": deleted (it was only used on the above dagger).

- Weapons "TR_m2_steel mace" and "TR_m2_steel crossbow": deleted (they were unused and differed from the vanilla weapons only in lesser health for the crossbow).

abot, please don't post bugreports here. There is the Public Beta Testing forum for that. (Anyway, this one is fixed now).

- Cells "Namidan Egg Mine" and "Dral's Sanctum, Heaven's Abyss": set fog density to 0.01 (from 0.00) to avoid an engine bug.

- Cell "Narasnabad, Lost Shrine": a chest for offerings was hanging from one of Azura's boobs. Intention or not, it looked ugly and is floored now.

- Cell "Narasnabad": a moderately good weapon ("TR_Aug_silver shortsword_01") hidden.

- NPCs "TR_m2_Eifid" and "TR_m2_Kaye": made corpses-persistent so that quest claim q2-17 doesn't break when the player is absent for more than 72 hours.

- Spells "TR_AD_aldrane's ward", "TR_m1_q_MG4Dispel", "TR_m1_q_RR_5_Reward", "TR_m2_Do_damageluck", "TR_m2_Do_damagestrength", "TR_m2_Immolatingtouch", "TR_m2_q_22_Effects": unchecked autocalc checkbox, so at least these spells don't end up on random NPCs.

- Spell "TR_MedensReech": "Meden's Reech" renamed as "Meden's Reach".

- Scripts "TR_m1_q_TGCuirassSwitchScript", "TR_m1_MobilityCuirassScript", "TR_m1_RancidCuirassScript", "TR_m1_RC_CurseTimer": revamped (joint work with rot). This takes care of the bugs described by rot in http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?p=311196#311196 concerning the rancid cuirass.

- Enchanting "TR_m3_bloat_en_i3-588": changed all magnitudes to constants (so, no longer fortify willpower 1-10, but rather fortify willpower 8). This is because this enchantment is a constant-effect one, and let's not have the player equip it over and over until sufficiently high values are obtained.

- Cell 43, -9: caspering rocks fixed.

- Cell 40, -8: caspering rock fixed.

- Cell 19, 15: floating wickwheat fixed.

- Cells 21, -19; 21, -20: moved around some kollops on the lake floor to fix placement bugs (three were submerged, one was floating, a few others weren't placed very well either). I am not sure I've done it right, but it's better now than it used to be.

- Enchanting "TR_m2_q_21_EkashLocksplitter_en": substantially nerfed this enchantment (used on a ring, "TR_m2_q_21_EkashLocksplitter", which you get for a not-too-hard Thieves Guild quest in Helnim). Now it does the following (cast when used): open 60 on touch; sound 1 for 5 sec in area 50 on target (this makes everyone around attack you), paralyze for 1 sec on self, sound 20 for 5 sec on self.

- Topic "secret meeting": The "Did they see you?" reply has been split in two, connected by a "continue". First reply:
"Did they see you? How bad if they'd get aware of us now. No! Good, so what did they discuss?
[Listens to your report]
Oh, this sounds really bad, it could mean our end. I must inform Hoff right away.
"
Second reply:
"Great job, %PCName, here's a little reward for you: an enchanted ring that can break most locks in Tamriel, if only it would not alert everyone around in the grossest way possible. Still a useful item to a traveller like you; just keep your hands off it when in town. I must talk to Hoff now, he'll know what to do. Sorry, I can't give you more jobs, but perhaps Lirielle has one."

- Clothing "TR_m2_q_21_EkashLocksplitter": renamed as "Smashlock Ring" due to its sound enchantment.

- Topic "Fillim": modified the result script for the response "Oh, really? Well, I don't care much as long as I get my money, [...]" to actually additem the 500 gold.

- Cell "Helnim, Dremil Seniran: Jeweler": changed ownership of item "TR_misc_pillow_red" so the jeweler doesn't sell it. Also, changed ownership of item misc_com_redware_platter.

- Topic "infiltrate the guild": In the reply "Valtio saw me entering the headquarters? [...]", replaced "they must confuse me" by "they must be confusing me".

- Creature TR_m1_cr_dres_bug: removed (this weird "Ravis Hlervu's Sky Render" was never used).

- Ingredient TR_i2_238_curseddiamond: deleted (it was never used; the Thieves Guild quest diamond is an activator).

- Door TR_i2-309_door_Rent: removed (it was never used).

- Script TR_m2_q_22_lw_platter_Script: petty optimization.

- Changed the name of TR_m2_Francine_Kingston to Francine Aldard, ID remains the same as before.
- Removed plants from the planter in Akamora, Guild of Mages. This planter is to be filled by the claimant of q2-30-Imp in the quest claim esp.
- Removed the lich and leveled undead from Mugan Crypt. This crypt is to include vampires and cattle for q2-35-Imp. Claimant will place these in the quest claim esp.
- Removed TR_m2_q_A8_2_Nobura_Tayo from TR_m2_O_Akavorioc
- Added TR_m2_q_A8_2_Nobura_Tayo to TR_m2_O_Jala
- Adjusted dialog and journal for TR_m2_Ak_Gem to reflect the new owner of the Nobura Tayo.
- Added a proper name ("Triolith") to TR_m2_fourcornershrine1, 2, 3 and 4 in order to better distinguish them as activatable objects.

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

- Greeting 1: In the first greeting by NPC TR_m2_Miremos ("The Militia got a good overview [...]"), replaced "The money necessary rests in four safes" by "That money rests in four safes".

- Topic "jobs": In the reply "Ha! Here, I have a nice job for you: [...]" by NPC "TR_m2_Tiron Naren", replaced "you can't fool me newbie" by "you can't fool me, greenhorn".

- Topic "jobs": Grammar fixed in the reply "What part of [...]" by NPC "TR_m2_Tiron Naren".

- Topic "jobs": In the reply "Your timing is better than your self-control, [...]" by NPC "TR_m2_Tiron Naren", replaced "%PCRank, you've come to the right time" by "%PCRank; you've come at the right time".

- Topic "jobs": The reply "I'm busy with Alerinus' documents; maybe I have more for you later." by NPC "TR_m2_Tiron Naren" corrected to "I'm busy with Alerinus' documents; maybe I'll have more for you later."

- Topic "jobs": In the reply "Can't live without me anymore, [...]" by NPC "TR_m2_Tiron Naren", replaced "ain't ya" by "can you".

- NPCs TR_m2_Miner-Drowned, TR_m2_Miner-Drowned2, TR_m2_Miner-Drowned3, TR_m2_Miner-Drowned4, TR_m2_Miner-Drowned5: removed scripts (these are corpses and don't need the variables).

- Cell 27, -11: fixed floater and casperer.

- Cell 27, -10: fixed casperer.

- Cell 24, -10: fixed casperer.

- Cell "Helnim, Dremil Seniran: Jeweler": nightshade no longer belongs to the jeweler (else he'd sell it).

- NPC "TR_m2_Ilmeni Benamamat": now sells magic items (needed for a Temple quest) and has a different robe.

- Topic "Thieves Guild's interference": added the obligatory comma in "I will not discuss your duties while you are expelled, %PCName."

- Topic "Thieves Guild's interference": new reply "You have dealt with Arrell? I see, although I can't say I am pleased by the details. At any rate, it should give us rest from the Thieves Guild for a while. You can keep the Ring of Ineptitude; may it serve you better next time." by NPC TR_m1_Gindaman. (I am not copypasting the results and conditions.) Might have possibly taken the place of the old response, since I used Copy.

- Greeting 5: In NPC TR_m2_Fillim's greeting "Finally! I already started worrying that you're letting me down! [...]", replaced "you're letting" by "you'd let".

- Topic "steal the funds": In the reply "Ahh, %PCName! Good to see [...] Tiron is disposing the remains [...]", replaced "disposing" by "disposing of".

- Topic "Caedan Jorval": fixed typo in reply by NPC "TR_m2_Cyria Flavius".

- Topic "little advice": In the two answers saying "There have been more creature sightings then ever in the Boethian Mountains.", corrected "then ever" to "than ever". Same for two other answers.

- Topic "little advice": The two replies that go "Seris Athyon doesn't belong to the Telvanni, although she lives in a Telvanni housepod. Her's is the best place in town to sell your goods." now have the Random100 >= 80 condition instead of the Random100 < 80 condition. This way other replies have a chance to come.

- Topic "little advice": Removed two replies saying "If you like reading literature, you should see The Telvanni Library north of here. And I don't mean the library in Firewatch.".

- Cell 36, -1: casperer fixed.

- Cell 33, 3: fixed caspering ex_t_bigroot_01.

- Cell 32, 3: casperer fixed.

- Cell 31, 4: fixed some floating and some submerged kelps.

- Topic "Isle of Arches": In the response "To get there, I suggest you find passage to the [...]", replaced "you will probably need a levitation potion to reach it" by "you might need a levitation potion to reach it".

- Topic "unique soul gem": The upper of the two responses which say "Absolon has received the soul gem finally? Excellent work. Here, take this gold as a reward." is now conditioned to Journal TR_m1_MG_5b == 40 instead of Journal TR_m1_MG_5a == 20. Also, results edited. This does not yet fix all issues with that quest, but at least we've got one less.

- Topic "unique soul gem": Moved around some replies. Not really tested, but I will test this later when I fix the Herne's Soul quests.

New file up: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83265276/TR_Mainland.7z .

- Script TR_m1_q_MGVicciaScript: added some code to ensure she would really stand up. Could not test it since the bug it is supposed to fix is extremely rare and apparently random.

- Cell 19, 23: casperer fixed.

- Greeting 5: The two greetings by NPC TR_m1_Gindaman which say "Do you wish for more duties, %PCName?" have been switched in order. The one which used to be conditioned to Vvardenfell MG status is now conditioned totally differently, stands below the other, and says "Tidings, %PCRank. If you came here for duties, you should talk to Banviris or try the other guild chapters. I may have some work for you too once you have attained the rank of Conjurer. Speaking of which, do let me know if you think you are ripe for advancement."

- Creature TR_m3_q_A9_Bonewalker: removed (was never used).

- Script TR_m3_q_A9_Bonewalker_Script: commented out.

- Books "TR_i2_313_adventurers log", TR_m1_bk_FW_GDutyLedger, TR_m1_bk_FW_prison_ledger, TR_m1_bk_FW_red_ledger, TR_m1_bk_guard_ledger, TR_m1_bk_guardduty, TR_m2_bk_Tomaril: all deleted (none of them was ever used, and that was for a good reason).

- Book "TR_m2_bk_Tomaril_list": fixed typo in title ("Visiters record" -> "Visitors' record").

- Cell "Helnim, Imperial Archaeological Society": fixed a bleeder.

The file got a bit smaller due to the removed books.

I have noticed from a while it is used TR_data.esm as master in TR_Mainland.esp.
This can cause problems with Mash internal case-sensitive handling of the master names, so I suggest to fix/verify file name is TR_Data.esm

Oh, that's my bad and will fix itself in the next Mainland edit after Haplo updates TR_Data.
