ABOUT THIS MOD: =============================================== This is the beta 1.5 version of the third release of the complete Morrowind province by the TR Team. The mod features a large landmass, numerous NPCs, and multiple settlements, ranging from tiny farms to large cities. The later maps will feature content of similar quality. INSTALLATION: =============================================== Extract TR_Data.bsa, TR_Data.esm, and TR_Mainland.esm to the Morrowind\Data Files\ directory. You will need to register the TR_Data.bsa file manually. This can be done using the BSAreg utility (simply run the executable and select TR_Data to be registered), but in some cases the utility is known to fail (claiming that "All BSA archives are already properly registered", although nothing has been registered). In this case, you will have to register the BSA file manually. To do so, simply open the Morrowind.ini file present in your Morrowind directory and add this line to the [Archives] section: Archive X=TR_Data.bsa Where X is the next available number. If you do not have installed other mods that have BSA files, you should see this: [Archives] Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa (The Morrowind.bsa is automatically loaded by the engine regardless of what is or isn't in the [Archive] section, so it is normal if it is not listed.) This will eliminate the need for messing around with individual .nif files, etc. Finally, move the bookart and sound folders into data files. =============================================== 04. PLAYING THIS PLUG-IN: =============================================== This region can be found to the east and southeast of Vvardenfell. Swim, water walk, or levitate a short distance across the sea east of Sadrith Mora to bring you to Helnim. =============================================== 06. KNOWN ISSUES OR BUGS: =============================================== Not all of our land will fit into the world map. There is nothing we can do about this as the maps are hardcoded into the game. The local maps still work perfectly. There is, however, a world-map fix available for download now. Also, manually check TR_Mainland.esm if you want to load TR_Mainland.esm (or any mod depending on TR_Mainland.esm) in the Construction Set. The Temple and Telvanni questlines are not yet finished, so don't take an announcement of "further work" (or an invitation to a meeting in Necrom) too seriously; the same currently holds for the Akamora Fighters Guild (Laalalvo gives no quests yet). We plan to complete major questlines only after most of the landscaping is done, to avoid confining them artificially to the eastern half of Morrowind. There are no boats or Mages Guild teleports to the Mainland yet. Saved game files played with older versions of Tamriel Rebuilt: Sacred East won't directly work with the new version. They need to be upgraded using Wrye Mash. For saved game files played with pre-Sacred East versions of Tamriel Rebuilt, not even this is likely to work; too much has changed. VERSION HISTORY =============================================== This is version 1.5 of Sacred East. It has been patched to remove sound-related and model-related crashes, includes numerous bug fixes, and several additional quests.
