That problem could also be solved by using the "getdetected" command in the script to determine if the creature sees the player. I personally think it's creepier if the creature seems to 'feel' the player taking an object.

I've just finished checking this and it seems fine. Could someone playtest it and try to beat the script before this is sent to reviewing?

I believe my method will work. I have just made it work when the player drops items in the cell. As for the light items, maybe I could make copies of them and attach a script to them that makes them 'turn to ash' when the player picks them up, as was suggested before. That, or we could just let the ...

I just tried this with a script which measures the player's encumbrance. If it goes higher when the player is in the room, the atronach attacks. It works fine but the script will only activate when the player picks up more than 1 pound of weight.

Been busy with other things recently and therefore haven't spent much time on this in the past two weeks or so. It's still coming along though, I assure you.

The labyrinth is done - it's big too. In the file you can also see I've started to add scary stuff as well as a few things that don't make total logical sense. You can play the level through to the end. The scripts are still set up to match the original idea. Thus ten seconds after the girl's death,...

I already have something along those lines. I have made the girl stop near the end and refuse to move until the area up ahead has been cleared out. While the player is doing that, a monster sneaks up behind her and kills her. One catch with that is the player isn't close enough to hear her say her l...

Hello again! I'm not a reviewer but I did take a look anyway. There are some pretty complex things in there. You definitely have enough objects in your interior cells but I would think that your biggest concern is with floaters. Fixing a couple of cells to rid them of floaters should be good enough ...

Ok. Maybe I could kind of do it both ways. Instead of freezing the player, I could instead make the girl scream something when she sees the monster at the end and shortly after, she gets shot by an arrow or something. Hopefully what the girl says will be enough to convince the player that she was su...

I'd like this one. I plan to make it an Ayleid ruin that begins as a short corridor. Once the player reaches the end of the corridor, the game will go into cut scene mode and the girl will run toward the player and beg him to help her escape. After that, the place will open into a large room with se...

I should have this done by tomorrow. I just need to write the journeyman and expert reward books and this should be good enough for reviewing. I spent all day today checking through all the text related to this quest, adding things, removing things, correcting things, etc. I think I got everything.

OK. New file uploaded. I finished off the quest including the small cutscene with Dolora and Bacarius. I have also written the text for Dolora's journal and fixed the script so that it can be read. I also added another stage of the quest that will trigger if one of either Bacarius, Dolora or Alcanor...

I didn't know how long it would have taken for this claim to be revoked. TheGooch told me that he specifically wanted me to claim it. That's why I sent theviking a PM. Anyway, I should have the quest finished off and fully tested in the next few days. I'll then go back and set about fixing a few AI ...

An NPC to add to Hammerfell?

In the Dark Brotherhood quest, "Whispers of Death", one of the people that the Night Mother tells the player to have Arquen find is a male Dark Elf named Hlanas who apparently lives in Sentinel, Hammerfell. Maybe this character could make an appearance in TR...

The LandscapeLOD folder goes in data/textures. There isn't much to see in the game apart from the general lay of the land. Thanks for the review. I'll post a cleaned version in a while. I have worked on the prison tower and dungeon areas in the past week. Prison tower is now cluttered and there are ...

Sorry about the packaging - I did it in a rush and tried to find all the new meshes and textures. This would be responsible for the missing object references. I am not sure what is causing the dialogue errors as they don't show up for me. Most of the other errors you mentioned occured from unexplain...

Here is my work so far. It took too long to upload to these forums so I put it on filefront - I hope that's ok. I think all the new meshes are in there too. It's still quite small - I haven't worked on it for too long! theviking, I can work on most areas of modding, including quests. I made a couple...

I have one file I could upload but it's.... big. I made a smaller city mod earlier with a full garrison of guards and full of NPC's. There were just too many crashes going on so I deleted it. I started again with a bigger world mod. I tried to copy the Imperial Legion as a joinable faction as best I...

Yet another modder dying to be part of the team!!!

Hello. Looks like this is a very popular project. I would like to join you. My favourite modding area is with AI Packages - I am particularily fond with compiling guard schedules! I also have an in-depth knowledge of scripting and am fairly comfortable with the lore and history of Tamriel. I have co...
