I feel like I asked this earlier, but i can't find it on the thread. Maybe I typed it and didn't submit... How many objects can I place before the game starts to bog down? I know that 150 is the exterior goal for trees and rocks and such, but if I place twice that in ground structure before I even g...

Jeeeez, if I were half my age, I'd still be older than the typical poster here. I did my first computer program in Fortran on punch cards, back when you held "batch files" together with a rubberband. Referring to something as a "PC" would have gotten you a puzzled stare, since i...

You ninja'd me as well. I'm planning on making Valhalla. It'll be basically a battlefield and a big meadhall on a hill overlooking it. I'll actually name it the Nord version, but I can't think of it right now. It'll basically be a small side quest thing. You'll meet a character, he'll give you some ...

Hmm... Instead of that, would it be too much of a strain for the game to handle if I just pieced together a whole lot of rocks? Made them double-sized and everything?

Edit: I mean for an interior cell. I'd make it roughly Balmora-sized.

So if I save my plugin after raising the land without loading any files, THEN load files, including my save, will it be on the map?

Exterior Mod question

So I'm making a mod. My first mod. It's crappy. Even so... I'm trying to make an island, not on the main map. I can't figure out how to do this other than raising an island in one of the "wilderness" cells, but I'd prefer that it was inaccessible except through door teleportation. How do I...

To preface, this is way beyond PG-13, but if the better bodies mod is in play... If the PC is a male, he's being laughed at for his *ahem* endowment. (I have morrowind, not oblivion, so I don't know if there even is a better bodies mod for oblivion). Make it in a bedroom, and he just leaves the room...

The original C&C was '95. I have it. I play it. I love it.

I think that's as far back as I go, PC-wise. I still play Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, and Mario Kart 64, though. I don't know how old they are.

Vahn, Van, that's pretty close. I was too late with that anyway. I realize that popular opinion is now against giving the "valley of the kings" any sort of name for itself. I was merely making suggestions against words. Any misunderstanding is my fault for only writing three sentences. Any...

Is anybody else impressed by Sload's douchebaggery?

I'd suggest avoiding using anything that sounds like Caradhras of Tolkien fame, period.

Annnndd to weigh in on something a few pages back... naming the island "Van" makes a whole lot of sense, and it's not too busy.

Hello everybody, I'm horrendously lacking in computer knowledge. I'll get that out in the open. However, I do like to read, and I have a very long attention span. Therefore, I'd be interested in proofreading anything that needs it for both grammar and content. I'm not completely up on my Morrowind b...

The reinstall worked. I have the autoplay function turned off on my computer, and so when I manually told the CD to install, it only put the main part on. Thanks for your help. I really didn't care about replaying the expansions, but when it meant no Tamriel Rebuilt, I was a little upset. Thanks again

Thanks for the quick response. I've looked at the window that comes up when you click Data files on the Morrowind start-up window, and they aren't there either. How would I go about finding them?

Game of the Year problem

So i looked around for a little bit, and I couldn't find any solutions to this already out there... I have the "Game of the Year" edition, and the tribunal and bloodmoon files aren't in the "data files" folder. Is it because they're combined into one file in the GOTY? Or do i jus...
