I imagine there would be far less vampires on the mainland because the main reason they survived so well on vvanderfel was the ash storms that regularly blotted out the sun. That was in one of the books.

So I was thinking. Bethesda always has this funny habit (I suppose it's expected) of putting all (or nearly all) their legendary artifacts into every game. Which I think it's funny because each of the games only takes place in one province (or part of one) why should all the fabled artifacts of lore...

As far as Azura. Remember, Azura was the one who curse the Chimer turning them all into Dunmer and she's not exactly on the most friendly of terms with the tribunal. Maybe her cult could be something against the Tribunal but would help the common people in the end? I don't know.

Sorry if this was already addressed but how does it matter if you can't gain one of the councilors trust? You're Telvanni. You do what any Telvanni would do when thwarted by someone they can't befriend or intimidate. You Kill them. That was the way it worked in Vvanderfall. Is the house different on...
