we'll just have a unique worldspace for each province. For clarification, is this to say that you can have the worldmap basically separated into segments that will switch over appropriately? That is to say, you wouldn't be able to see all of Tamriel at once as a single accurate worldmap, but you co...
Did the Americas have horses? In the real world before europe found it? Nope. Well then, should Tamriel have buffalo? Perhaps Tamriel did not originally have horses, but they were introduced to Tamriel in much the same way they were introduced to the Americas. Maybe Tamriel orginally had them and i...

You forgot my usual style. Style: No Photo What they want you to think: Too hip to be bothered with putting up a photo for the unworthy What it really means: Are just way too ugly and too considerate to expose other people to their hideousness AND/OR they just don't give enough of a damn to put up a...

Well, it doesn't get much more 'optional' than a bolt-on, so I think that's the best course of action. I'm sure the people who use and enjoy plug-ins such as Necessities of Morrowind and Weather Effects (which is kind of neat) would appreciate it. I hope the Bethesda devs give us bedrolls and things...

That's the problem. I don't know what I did that made it work. It really ended up being a uninstall-reinstall bit of fiddling with it and then it worked. I was just pointing out that the new (1.2) nif scripts do work with blender 2.40. Maybe it's just a lucky accident to get them to work. But make s...

The 1.2 nif scripts work fine for me in blender 2.40. I don't think I did anything special. I have Python 2.4.2 installed. It didn't work at first, so I completely wiped the old blender folder and my python installation, restarted, re-installed... and it worked just fine. You might see if installing...

It's good, but it still looks a bit goofy. I suggest referencing this pic for the look of the eyes and such. http://www.bio.davidson.edu/people/midorcas/animalphysiology/websites/2004/Culter/Picture1.jpg But a water moccasin/cottonmouth would probably be what you should go for in terms of...
Why hasn't anyone made ridable Guars? It's always horses. That's what I've wondered. So, I just took the Pegas Horse Ranch scripts and used them with pack guars. It's a quick and dirty work-around, but it's nothing that I ever intend for anyone else's use (I'd have to get max's permission for that)...

But isn't that also Bethesda's fault for scaling down distances for TESIII: Morrowind ? Since TR has a policy of not altering the original landmass (and very little besides that) of the game, they kind of have to work with what they're presented. If the original was a bit scaled down, TR ends up bei...

The idea about that occured to me because of all those instruction manuals found in Bamz-Amschend (in Tribunal). Perhaps a scholarly (though not particularly brave) tailor could ask the player to find an illustrated (or just text saying that the book is about this or that like most of the other Dwem...

We don't need our honour defended at ESF. We're just modders, not chivalric knights. Now those are words of wisdom. Getting the work done and releasing a truly glorious mod will be much more effective than lip service in making those ESF nay-sayers eat their words (and maybe some crow on the side)....
I guess for lore purposes, it could be supposed that those two books aren't gibberish but not straight-forward Dwemeris either (whereas something like Hanging Gardens was pretty straight-forward). Perhaps they were written in a Dwemer cipher to which only an upper circle of tonal architects were pri...

The sabretooths wouldn't be in the same area as the mountain lions, though, right? If there's more than one type of bear, there could be more than one type of big cat. As a fantasy variant, how about a mountain sabretooth?Savant wrote:-mountain lions (although its probably too similar to the sabertooth tigers)

Is that 'first law' stated anywhere in TES lore? I'm willing to buy into the matter displacement theory, though, in this case. I don't think the Dwemer were actually destroyed. They might have been changed in a way that not even Yagrum would recognize them or they could be somewhere that can't even ...

I don't even think you can add new weather effects to morrowind--thats hardwired into the program. If true, that's a shame. Certainly there must be some parts of Tamriel with weather effects that don't show up in Morrowind or Solstheim. Windy tropical-type storms, sand storms (which I guess could b...

I think that fits together much better. I do think it does need some protection in the seat, just not made of the spikey scales. Maybe something like the texture running down the middle of the back on the cuirass and side of the legs would work (or even something that drapes down from the back of th...
