I would think that in this isolated pocket of declining Imperial prosperity would be numerous factions that are eager to gain control of it for themselves. Dunmer related, criminal related, etc. With no where to turn, and no hope in sight, any isolated group is likely to turn on itself. I think this...

I've uploaded a new file, using the snow cliff statics that Nemon suggested. If anyone has the time, just go through the small part I've detailed and let me know what you think: using too many or too few statics, not properly grouping statics together, etc. I just want to be on the right track befor...

I have updated my claim with the most recent file. I believe that I have cleaned it properly, but please let me know if I haven't. I would not say it is yet at 10 percent even... so I didn't place it there :) No vertex shading or textures have been done yet. I'd prefer to save that until I am nearin...

I've run into numerous problems that I haven't really had the time to mess with. First of all, every time I try to load something in Tesame, it stops responding. I've tried downloading it again, but it doesn't change. Also, I can't get the long, long stream of dialogue error messages to go away. I k...

That is amazing, and when condensed into a Morrowind-sized view, I think it would offer a view quite unlike anything we've seen yet. I'm excited for this region, and for more of your art as well! I also really like the look of your dres buildings, particularly the lighting. Dreadful from the point o...

I think what it comes down to is whether or not I want the author to be intelligent or typically biased. I could have an enlightening text written by a man worth his words, or something largely useless with hidden nuggets that may or may not actually be gold. I'm leaning toward the first, but I thin...

To put my own two cents in, I do agree with Haplo's latest post. This text is for Imperials/other foreigners that are already in Morrowind, both to entice them to visit a particular region as well as to educate them on Dunmer ways. Perhaps the best way to do this would to begin with terms that forei...

Fixed, thank you. Would he/she not, if the intended audience was foreigners who were familiar with the term dwarves rather than Dwemer? The intent of the book is to draw outsiders to this strange region, and the best way to do that is to mix a bit of the original with mysterious. I suppose using Dwe...

I've edited the first post with version 3. I tried my hand at something more weird... but I'm not really sure I like the idea. Let me know what you think. I kept the name of the hostel for a few reasons. Primarily, I don't like reading an in-game book about a place, and then finding that nothing rea...

I would like to take a try at this. I am a bit rusty with exterior work, but my real problem was always with raising the land. With the height map, that won't be a problem. Pretty much, there isn't that much interesting about this section of land. So... I realize that I have to make something natura...

Thanks for the pointers! I see I'm still having the problem of viewing, and relating, this text too much from an in-game mechanics perspective. That is certainly a glaring problem with the smugglers. I will indeed fix that. I agree with all of your points really... I wasn't stressing too much about ...

Version 2... still needs a solid ending, I think. And could be fleshed out in a few more areas, but I'd like to get some more opinions on it at its current point. Riches of Darnim By xxx The small village of Darnim, isolated in the swampy region of the Inlet Bog in Azura's Bay, is avoided by most tr...

The Riches of Darnim
Final Version Riches of Darnim The small village of Darnim, isolated in the swampy region of the Inlet Bog in Azura's Bay, is avoided by most travelers, and perhaps rightly so. However, the knowledge of the dangers one might face is often more than enough to keep death at bay. The truth of Darnim is...

How about a book reminiscent of Aesop's Fables, written by a member of the Temple to ridicule the Dissident Priests, and perhaps even the Cult of the Neravarine? It would be written in a lighthearted note, more as off-hand ridicule than a defensive posture. I think such a book would go a long way to...

Awesome! I was rather disappointed when I read that my quest most likely was not going to make it in. I'm glad to see it revived :) And I like what you've done with it. A lot of those changes were certainly needed. About the Final Hint: Yes, that was the tie in for a sequel...or a series of sequels....

I tend to agree with kebra here... He did ask for opinions on his city quite a while ago. And he waited quite a while with absolutely no response from the core or any other top modder. So he continues his work, and now he's told to cut his city down to size. He makes a joke and just deletes half of ...

I have nothing with any substantial progress. Nothing but a few different files with different attempts at making the arrchitecture inside the building work. There is nothing that would save the next modder any time. Not to mention all the files are on a computer I can't access at the moment. Near f...

I really hate to do this... My fiance and I have finally moved into our own place, but we don't have internet yet, my computer is slowly dying (I'm thinking about getting a black case and naming it Darth Vader, you should hear it breathing), and school and work are taking up ALL of my time. And I do...

If my voice matters, I agree with Sacred East as a name for Map 2. Necromis is nice...yet it doesn't seem to fit with the language or style of the dunmer. Perhaps as an imperial name or some such. Naming it in dunmer words is, as has already been brought up, confusing and difficult. We would want so...

I've made several interiors that were never used, back with the old system. Things were hectic then. Chances are your interiors were lost, for several reasons. I believe TR suffered a crash and lost many interiors around that time, or perhaps it was just misplaced in the confusion during the switch ...

I'm not a loremaster, nor am I someone who is very experienced with exterior modding. But I think you are doing great with this city. In some ways, it exceeds everything else in TR, which can be good and be bad. It definantly exceeds, in both quality and quantity, anything that Bethesda produced in ...

Excavation tools
Does TR: Morrowind by any chance have a shovel, or any other digging tool? All I can think of using are miner picks...and that is kind of boring. I can't see a muck shovel being used for much more than...well muck. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
