Uhm, well, the ones done in 3dsmax seem to be made out of many basic shapes put up together. It's just impossible to texture that. And the polygons number will also go wild. I think you need to read some tutorials first.
Greetings

Hello there Dagoth Ur 233! Please, be more patient. An interior can take days. Make sure you don't place objects that might help the player gain easy skills. Have your time, make sure everything is fine then post it here. I remember I tried doing an interior a long time ago which had a bookshelf. It...

The_Warder: Some of the normals are flipped (The 2nd picture). You can regulate the normals by pressing CTRL+N. And, if you have trouble on some of the models try doubling the normals. As far as I remember it had to be something like that in the material options. El Scumbago: I think I might give a ...

Hello everyone! I just had my first exam on Friday. I have two more to pass and I hope everything will be alright. I'm sorry that I just vanished without posting on the forum. I should have posted this sooner. Well, things begin to settle down and I'm going to have some free time to spend here. I pr...

I know what someone can do after seeing a few models. Did I said something disturbing? It's the same mistake I used to be. I wasn't allocating enough time to my models. We debated that sword on Y!M and I think it looks all right now. Speaking the same language is another advantage that may allow us ...

Ah, now I think I can see where you're getting at. I think what Morden was trying to suggest, is that you wrap it cylindrically, around the Tor (left to right), instead of over and underneath it (top to bottom). That's what I did in my second post. If I wrap it from top there's another stressing pr...

So this is the new popular fashion. Being banned when you want to take a break. Don't mind that, I'm also busy and I feel there is no need of it. I've been banned almost an year already. :P Oh well, I hope you have enough time to post something here and there from time to time. That would be all, go...

Morrowind is a very very very old game. Dude, it's only 4-5 years. Compared to Star Craft which is almost 9 years old and it's still popular I'd say Morrowind will live enough time until we finish. I personally don't care if this means 20 years, it's fun and you learn a lot of stuff. We are not pro...

It's already been told before. We're not going to overwrite Beth's original splash screens. well my new format for the splashes takes up LESS memory!! Targa is the only supported format for MW-engine splash screens. I thought of a program that may convert the files to tga and move them to the splash...

That's where I learned blender from. I found it pretty explained compared to other tutorials. If it's not tutorials where do people learn how to use it? It's not that user-friendly. Well, is there a specific tutorial for making a tileset in Blender? I'm really eager to make a new house for me. No. :P
