Self built is easy, try newegg.com or stuff like that in the US. Yeah, I'm definitely considering that for my next rig (I'm trying to hold off until the next line of consoles come out to keep the next PC from becoming insta-obsolete). Just a couple of concerns of mine are: -What are the chances of ...

Dells aren't that bad I'm with you on that. I've had Dells for the last two computers, and I've been very happy with their performance. It's just too bad they're so costly, eh? Especially since they no longer sell gaming XPS's and the only gaming rigs they sell now are Alienware (they bought out Al...

I have a Dell, but only because my dad wanted to pay the extra money. He asked me what I wanted as a college graduation present, so I told him I wanted a new gaming PC. I knew he wasn't too into the idea of paying for the parts I wanted and me building it myself. He always claimed that he knew guys ...

I used this stuff 2 1/2 years ago when I was in quantitative analysis. We were doing flame AA and had to choose a metal to analyze. I chose copper, and selected copper sulfate pentahydrate as my salt. For that lab, I had to make a set of standards, prepare a calibration curve, and determine the conc...

L_N, just how do MMORPG companies police their games to keep n00bs off? How would they keep everyone from jumping from rooftop to rooftop in Balmora instead of using the streets? Or from using 1337? I just don't understand how that works without making everyone pretend to be NPCs. I can't help but i...

I don't think anyone can say for sure when TES V will come out. If they've been working on it simultaneously with Fallout 3, we might see it in 1-2 years. If they started after the release of Fallout 3, we could have a 4 year wait ahead of us :P. I wouldn't be surprised if Zenimax Online made a TES ...

My Wishes: -Graduate with at least a 3.6 GPA so I can graduate with the cum laude honors thingy. -I would like to kick my fear of driving so I can become functional in this society. -After doing the above, I want to be able to find work as a chemist in a pleasant town that isn't too far from Fairfie...

OOO is my favorite Oblivion mod. With OOO, I like Oblivion almost as much as Morrowind. I like the new factions that Oscuro added, such as the Skyrim bandit clans, and the Bosmer rangers. The new quests that he added are also my favorite type: You raid the bases/hideouts of your enemies, collect doc...

Bah, it will be my crappy luck that it comes out just as the next computer that I buy becomes obsolete :P. I just hope that they handle the graphics a little better than they did with Oblivion. Y' see, I have a GeForce 6800 card, and it's obvious they did not consider anyone having a card lower than...

Haha, I haven't seen you in forever, Majra :). I'm now a senior at the University of Southern Indiana, and I'm still a chemistry major. I'll be graduating in the spring with my ACS approved BS. in chemistry. It's been a hellish four years, but I've made it through :D. I haven't done a damn thing at ...

I'm Macar on spore- and I have no friends yet- I want to make sure to pick good creators as friends so my games will be populated with cool looking stuff. I like to think my own stuff is pretty decent. A few of my creatures are a bit Easter- eggy (Smarmy the Dinosaur, for example) but I've posted m...

Sniper4, what is AR all about and how could it possibly cripple your desire to read? It stands for Accelerated Reader. Basically, you read a book, take a 10-20 question test over it and if you get most of the questions right, you get points for it. If you miss a certain amount (I think it was about...

According to this map (though I thought the game was randomly generated...): http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/564545/49040 It looks like part of the rod on a fairly ceremonial looking lava-circled island. I never got there myself but I doubt it is anything decent, knowing the limitation...

I don't read many books for pleasure, anymore. I enjoyed it as a kid, but thanks to Accelerated Reader (AR), and AP English in high school, I got somewhat burnt out :P. My last year of high school, I knew a freshman who took the chance to skip 8th grade just so he could get away from AR. That year, ...
