You can do sporeprints of muchroom and if left long enough with a large enough mushroom the spore print does indeed make piles. Think of all the spores in a puffball mushroom, for example. The spores were an idea to add to Cath's idea of it being very hazy. Shame about no luminescence though, i thin...

Thanks. :D I don't know how to do particles but it would be better to just make it like smoke and then have the piles of spores just as a simple mesh I think. And you're right, it needs to be done sparingly. It would be cool if the spores and fruiting stages were a bit luminescent at the bulbs too, ...

Hi all thse look really good. I started a hypothetical lifecycle on the trees that look like oyster myshrooms, Catharsis wanted it and he also wants los of ash in the area, I thought if some of the mushrooms were in spore and reproducing that they would also add to the dusty ambience. Crude concept ...

Help I've been tricked
I was just following this train of seeds and then a net fell on me. Again! Stupid seed trails. Anyway for those of you who don't know me I'm Archie and I have some time on my hands. I was part of TR Rev 1 in 2001 prior to MW's release, then I was around for a bit for Hammerfell, and now back for mor...

Ok well I want to maintain creative control and copyright over the models, and especially over the camel (since it is for sale on Turbosquid), and I don't want the bones thrown over a horse rig or anything. Horses are not camels and they don't move the same at all. Camels are pretty qnique critters....

Oh gosh guys I'm so sorry I've been through Murphey's Law the last 6 months, getting sicker and sicker terminating in 2 scary ambulence rides and a stay in the hospital, and at the same time my capacitors blew on my desktop and the HD on my laptop failed! So I was without a good computer to model on...

Welcome Ghogiel, it's always nice to see fresh blood (ahem, new, that is!). Could you upload a non-wireframe pic of the cuirass? I'm not sure whether TR can use a Morrowind cuirass, but if your work proceeds well I'm sure it'll fit in. There are Dwemer ruins in Hammerfell after all. You can use thi...

Oh right... read the FAQ and it erases your post. XD A purple mammal would definately be dyed. Purple fur (or any other hue) does not occur in nature. One type of monkey does have some fur on its body that approaches greenish-yellow and other with orangie-yellow but its not that bright. Anyhoo, I'm ...

That sounds like the NiBone Error. It seems to happen to bipeds in Max sometimes. Had problems with that actually with the tail of a retextured Argonian in Morrowind I made, and i was messing with bipeds in Max and it happened there as well. It's a royal pain in the butt, and I don't know what the s...

Yay thanks! Onager complete (wheels are dropped below the render in this shot but they are there) :) Gotta do the normal maps next and then I'll TRY and get it into the game hehe. Unfortunately, havok is NOT appli...

Onager with wheels
Xui requested that I make an onager with wheels, it's WIP, still needs a few things. It won't have havok physics though, unless we get a Max importer. Anyway, it still needs some things added, bear in mind its WIP. I'm using real blueprints from the web though so it shoudl be ok. I decided to give i...

Thanks everyone :D It has not been ridden or even rigged. The horse rig won't work, primarily because camels gaits are differnt than equine and the neck is upside down from a horses. I can't say that the rig won't work 100% yet, if we can change animations I may be able to reverse the horse neck to ...

Well I guess this is how it works, eh? After being bugged to post a question on baking the DDS to the model, I can't because of some promotion thing. XD At any rate, some of you may or may not know I've been making a camel. Just having issues with getting the textures on in the CS. [url=http://smg.p...
