Update on the Velothi mountain Redoran. The bonemold is either painted white (1) or stained darker and desaturated (2) Yellow bonemold against white snow isn't a great idea in terms of camouflage (and white or dark bonemold would just look cool) . There is less of it too, combined with more leather ...

Nice to see you around again, Nalin. Your concept art is always appreciated. For a general overview of what kind of creature concepts we're interested in currently, I suggest reading gro-Dhal's notes on creature design and [url=h...

I started on this one back in 2011 after being so disappointed with the Dunmeri stuff (or total lack thereof) in Skyrim. I've been sorting through lots of old art and figured that the idea would work pretty well for the Redoran living in the Velothi mountains, so I worked it up a little and then end...

Some really nice concepts in here. I would've never thought the boiled scrib could ever seem appealing but that sketch has sold me on it :) I have an idea for a velothi mountain dwelling insectoid-elk that I think your Ash dog could partially lend itself to. It kind of has the same colour scheme as ...

RVNANT concepts
I heard that creature concepts were needed a while back, and I think that there was some talk of redesigning the swamp troll to fit with the established oblivion and skyrim troll anatomy and general feel. I think the idea was to keep the creature that we have designated as "swamp troll" ri...

Velothi Mystics I really like this one. I'm not sure how much concept art we need for new armour/clothing sets but it's always nice to see a bit of art, regardless. The shroom helm looks fine on top to me. I think it's the angle in the concept that makes it...

I, on the other hand, like these concepts and see no reason to outright shoot them down. Nor do I. I offered opinion and constructive criticism. The cyberpunk-esque geometric pattern on the houses looks really nice imo. I like them too - stylistically they fit nicely with the [url=http://restlessle...

The difference is symbolism. A Tapestry is just fabric art. It could tell a story or just simply be designs or have a picture woven into it. But it's just art that is used for decoration. A Banner is artistic fabric that represents or identifies a subject or faction. I am sure your aware of that. S...

I'm not a big fan of either of these designs for banners. The first one is too similar to the lutemoth bug and the addition of the hive doesn't really add anything in terms of aesthetics. The designs on the buildings and the mirrored parts missing from them in the second design add a bit of interest...

I remember seeing a dres warrior riding a large bee and it got me thinking that the dres would probably harvest pollen as well. Don't we already have honey in TR? A velk ingredient, if I'm remembering correctly. Something about induced vomiting and throat massages? fermented? Sounds more Bosmeri to...

I'm certain i posted these already somewhere - replacers for the Dres stuff in the image that Mwgek just posted. The new cuirass needs rigging properly but the other stuff is ready to be put into the CS. Actually remembered to make and include the icons and _gnd meshes for this stuff. [url=http://im...

The arches work well built into the back of the rampway like that - some on the side of the rampway instead of the back might look good too. The Temple building I uploaded for you has these arches in it (as I'm sure you noticed - I'm figuring that's where you got them from) though on a larger scale....

I really like it. With regards to the bug shell on the doorways; the darkness to them comes from dark crushed bug shell mixed with resin that is applied over the doorway. I like the idea of some of them being less finished than most as depicted in the concept I posted. Don't worry about the texture ...

I couldn't help painting over that last screen. Nice work Mwgek. Can we rename Mwgek to The Hope of Dres? I'm really glad you've stuck to style of the earlier models I did. You've done an excellent job with them. I have some more concepts for doorways with an inbuilt tunnelled walkway/ramp that leads up from ground level to the second floor. I'll clean them up an...

With a Scribs head, I used it as a base for the body and then worked from that. I was hoping to make it more of a placid carriage pulling creature for indoril areas, specifically within an expanded almalexia, as a kind of taxi service. I'll try an find the modified versions that hide the inspiration...

I posted these screens already but I suppose this thread is the more apt one to post them in. Like I said in the other thread - I love your enthusiasm and the speed in which you put together this stuff. But We already had/have a base model with some modulars (pillars and building top variations), li...
