Is the tapestry still wanted/needed?
What story should the tapestry depict?
What style is desired?
3 Questions and but perhaps only one answer...

I am not elfane, and why he isn't active.
Probably some of you remember Elfane. He was a CA here on Tamriel Rebuilt. He asked me to contact some of the internet communities that he was a member of and tell people about his absence, so he gave me the username and password. The reason he wanted me to contact TR was that it was a project that ...

Nice progress, and the reason you cant see the link is that you dont have modder status. Well I will try to explain some of what you are looking for but it will surely not be easy. In Hammerfell it will be 3 architecture sets, the goldmoor one that is in the making right now, a desert one and one mountain set. Only one of these have CA and thats the Goldmoor one (GM) The desert set is i...

I'll half agree with Sload. Not that their pottery should not be symmetrical and well crafted, but that one pot looks too much like a Greek amphora to me... Ok, the amphora is a bit too much greek/roman. Take those away... I agree. It was accualy the amphora holder that was the real idea. Lighter T...

Looking alot better, to bad that you can't edit .spt in Max, but oh well. I am satisfied with the result. But the cluster/clusters should perhaps be closer together. As if the plants are growing from one root system. But with some grass around it it will look very neat as it is. Great work, and fast.

I'd say it should always be in clusters. The only point of not putting them as clusters would be to help modders get more freedom in how to place them. K, I'm gonna make two versions. Clustered and a single one. In the IRC channel I told you that it should be more of a bush than a single plant. So ...

First of all welcome to TR The best advice I can give you is to lurk the CA threads a bit to get the feel of what we are trying to create, look especialy in Lutemoth's thread. Then if you feel you have the time you could look in the Lore forum searching for tags like Ra'gada, Yoku, Hammerfell, Rihad...

Aro have said so MANY times... Take your existing mesh, save the entrance bit an one of the sides. Make an octagonal base, twist the side wall to match the base and copy and repeat, or make a new one. Whatever is easiest ( I have no idea how to operate a 3d program) Nice mesh though edit - gez, we n...

Kama certainly is a RL weapon, or tool depending on how you see things. During the feodal period in Japan carrying swords was forbidden for commoners so they used what they had instead. Like a sickle (kama) or a small shovel (kunai). And adding dai would suck also, dai means alot of things ie. stanc...

No, but they have limited means. They don't have the resources in their desert for smithing, so they get their metal items by trade rather than doing them themselves. It's easy to seem primitive when you don't have worked metal. This I know, thats why it only bugged me a little bit. And by a little...

Re: Remark on the main site
" In essence, TR is a 'mod' (mod is a universal abbreviation for 'modification'. Thus modding stands for 'modifying', and 'modders' are 'modifiers'.) project for Morrowind and Oblivion , one that attempts to create the whole world of Tamriel on computer as presented by Bethesda in its previous...
