Falmer?
While browsing through the Imperial Library, I noticed in the Story of Shadowkey section that the player finds a dungeon inhabited by Falmer. So, does that mean that the Falmer are NOT extinct, or am I simply hopelessly wrong?
It's just Reaver's guess that they are Falmer. I've disscussed that matted with him many times. Nowhere ingame it is mentioned that they are really Falmer. Plus don't forget that Shadowkey takes place 100 years or so before current time.

I have not a cell phone that has the capabilities to play games like that.

Lol, I don't even have a cell phone, although I did have one but somehow it's malfunctioning . But with all the TES freaks out here there should be someone who has played it, or knows someone who has. Taking a look at the official forums is a good idea as well. I'll take a look at those.haplo12345 wrote:I have not a cell phone that has the capabilities to play games like that.

So far, one reply to the post on the official TES forums:
ReaverEsn (On the official Elder Scrolls Travels forums) wrote:Well, I wrote the Story and beaten Shadowkey a couple times. And those creatures in the Glacier Crawl can't be anything else except Falmer. They look like elves, they have blue skin and they just have to be Falmer. I'll try dig up more screenshots of them (there were a bunch of Falmer in that dungeon).
Falmers, Aleids, what happend to the dwemer, who build the Vvardenfell strongholds... all lore misteries which we will not get an answer to untill the devs want us to know the answer.
but offcourse it's fun to speculate and lore wouldn't be so intresting without the things to guess after.

There is no reason for him not to post here as long as he has a point to make. As a matter of fact, it is better to post in an existing thread that's not active than to start a new one on the same subject. Don't correct him please if you don't know the rules exactly. A moderator will certainly correct him if he's doing something out of line, which he is not.
And yes, El Capitado I totally agree with you and am 99% sure that they are Falmer. However for our project we cannot assume this as we want to follow lore as closely as possible and opinions on this still differ. There is no solid lore saying these are Falmer so we cannot assume that. Let's just hope Oblivion sheds some more light on this. Or maybe not, mysteries are a good part of what makes this game fun.

And why would they place ashes in Bamz-Amschend if the Dwemer weren't turned to ash by Azura? Good question, but that mystery isn't solved and some blue elves showing up in a couple of games doesn't mean a thing. Infact, they could be related to the Reiklings and neither part could have a relation to the Falmer. That's perfectly reasonable.
Infact, is there any other evidence that the Falmer were even blue?

No. It's just a supposition because in-game people believe that Rieklings are degenerated Falmers, and Rieklings are blue, and Falmers are/were snow elves, and there are blue elves living in snowy caverns in Shadowkey.
None of that is evidence, but if you apply Occam's Razor, then yes, the Falmers were of a pale light blue color, at the very least.
Elven skin colors tend to be quite outlandish. Altmers have yellowish golden skin, orsimers have a flashy green skin, dunmers are grey, the Maormer have chameleon skin. Only the wood elves have a skin color in the human specter of skin colors.
So why not blue?
