so we've established that we can't do zilch about it. so let's look on the bright side!! apparently what we are doing is sooo good already that people are willing to break laws just to get thier hands on it! and people in other countries no less! this could be taken as a grand compliment to us.

EDIT: oh yes, does anyone know anything about international copyright laws? because i know that a very respectable thief 1 and 2 modder supports his website by selling dvds with the best mods and fm's for the thief series. and as far as i know, he hasn't violated any laws.

I still highly doubt that. Anyone that would find that page must know about the existance of the Morrowind mod community. And anyone that knows that the Morrowind mod community exists knows that mods are free downloads. The only people that will buy this are the stupidest of the stupid. I say let 'em blow their money.

or people that would rather buy a lumped together group of mods on one convenient disk, instead of spending 2 hours searching them out, translating the site into russian, and then spending another 5 hours downloading the thing over a 52.2 kbps dial up modem! some disks are actually legal and convenient, but some, like this one, are not.

As I said, the stupidest of the stupid.
If they want to blow a rediculous sum of money instead of spending a few hours doing some downloading, then let them do so. Nothing we can do about it. So there is no use getting pissed off about it.

That little thread on ESF gave it's results. The page is changed. Now author is giving CD for free to every 1000 visitor. Actually author was also defending himself in that ESF thread. But some ppl got the screenies plus Pete told that Beth's on his tail.

Go search ebay.

If you are any kind of computer user youd have some kind of Firewall - even the XP firewall would be enough to stop that kind of ub3r lame hack attempt.

we need a hacker of our own to screw the site - post links to the forums all over it, mention repeatedly that you can buy it from him, or download it for free. insult him alot.

lol, anyways, what I meant by hacking is blackmail them on an international scale. Just like what Inferno swtike said, we make fun of them, and insult them alot. Steer visitors away from them.

For some reason I don't think that most of the guys would agree. Isn't blackmail and extortion against forum policy? :?

Edit: Heheh sorry, I missed a post and misunderstood what we were talking about. It always pays to double check. :D I do agree mostly with you guys.

I dunno, but I agree with inferno_strike, shutting down their site is a good idea, saying that people may buy the product, since they calimed it's theirs.

Yeah, totally! Also, your message isn't clear. I'm really hoping you are not originally an English-speaker.

One more thing. If by "represntatives" you mean "Bush." Well, there are a few people dumber, but none of them are incharge of anything super-powerful.

Two questions. What the heck is N.A. ? I understand that it's somewhere in US but what does it mean exactly ?
And the second question is why Americans are refered to as a race ?

N.A. North America?

Good point about the race thing, though.
