Not that I'm complaining but is there any other mirror of this file? It is impossible for me to download a file of this size if the server doesen't support resuming, and I'm pretty sure many dial-up users will have the same problem.

Thank you.

Do you mean the actual physical Map 1? That would be in Map 1 downloads under the Member downloads section. Here's a link: http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=8964

Just to let you know, this is just the OoT (Objects of Tamriel, I had no idea what it stood for for a while) for map 1.

Sorry, but my English is not very good and I can't understand one detail: are in this file quests for the first map avialiable or aren't them? And if not, can I find them in some other place or are they still in work?..

this is not the game file, this is information files. Sigh, I hate this question, I dont get what the problem is, but we need to solve it so we dont have to answer this darn question every single day. There has been an issue about this every single day for the past 25 days last I checked. Prolly longer.

It is in the FAQ isn't it? But like our friend says, "my English is not very good" though I do understand what you are talking about. The FAQ can be a little hard to understand though. Not to mention that not that many people actually do read it.

Maybe it would be easier to have a Map 1 Complete Platinum Edition that comes with the map, the OoTs, and a helpful readme that explains everything in detail and has a big thing about reading FAQs and stuff? I would write the readme if I understood how to make the OoTs work, I've gotten tired of trying everything I was told.

we dont have that kinda space to post duplicates of everything. These are very large files. Besides most of the people who actually plan on sticking around generally look around enough to find the files they need. I mean, everything is in the member downloads forum. Its not that complicated

I am most definately an idealist then. But aye, why should we give up our time, space, and effort to people who will download it, say "ooh shiny" and never return?

Hm, Majra and others, I've read FAQ, as I read them always, really (if I understood right that your FAQ is the large list called FAQ), but I still cannot find that (I know, I'm stupid, so you may not tell me this). And about Ehglish - I don't have it in such an impossible form, and my post wasn't like "oh, sorry, dear, I can't understand anything, tell me quickly an answer and I'll go away and you'll never see me, really!" - may be, you've read something like this, and you read this every day, don't you? :)
Majra, I know and I knew, that my question was stupid... but didn't you think what makes a lot of people asking such <stupid> questions? I believe, that who really wants will find all he need, but isn't it more right - to do a folder and not copy, but transfer a lot of very large files in it?
May be, it'll take a lot of time, but as the result - NO stupid questions. AT ALL.

we cant do that, because then people with 56k will complain

however, if you noticed, I actually took some action after your post. And made a global announcement. Check the top of the forum. That thread should tell you every single thing you need for this project.

You know guys, it would help all of these new members if you actually linked to the thread you are pointing to. When I was a new member, I was pointed in certain directions, but still had to plough through tons of threads to get there.

Code: Select all

produces

For those that don't know. I have a little text file with useful links (FAQs etc) that I pop into link codes for questions like this. Just a suggestion.

If you are such an idealist - how come you've never managed to add the correct spelling of "definitely" to your list?

Because the day you said that I was turning 14. I feel I have a better grasp of English than most people my age.

The doawnload is broken, I downloaded 1,90MB and it is say that I downloaded all file. But in TR_Map1_Data_Files.zip I have only ssa1, ssa3, ssa4, riverstrider1,riverstrider2, riverstrider3 (wav). Someone should fix the bug.

This was also discussed on Map 1 Download (Firewatch/Port Telvannis) Topic, but The Core hasn't answered yet

This was a problem with PHP 5, until phpbb's attachment mod is fixed to work with it, I have downgraded the server to PHP4.
