House Indoril family life?

Post by Graff »

I know that House Indoril are the most pious of the Great Houses, does this mean that the avergage Indoril Home would centre around Tribunal Worship?

A shrine to Tribunal will be there I think. Or a few banners (expect those some time today).

@Art:  Serves me right for explaining what I meant. In the average Indoril home, will life centre around worship. For instance, will family activities consist of group worship, etc.

@Stalker: Do you mean there should be shrine to the tribunal in most Indoril homes?

I was saying that they mostly worship the Tribunal. Sorry for not being clear enough.

No, you were being perfectly clear, it was me that forgot to put the not in the "serves me right for not explaining what I meant" sentence. I wasn't being clear. *Bangs head against wall".

So what would you suggest for a minor nobles' manor?

I know on what you're aiming at :) Make 'em :) I would suggest not those triolith's but something like...umm...a stand with an icon (like in Christianity) and a candle maybe. And a prayer's stool of course.

Maybe just some small flower arangement on a wall, or a shelf with a candle, a book, and a small pot. Dres homes each have a shrine or something for ancestors, and the bigger houses even have whole rooms dedicated to this worship. However, Indoril aren't really interested in ancestor worship, and the houses in Mournhold don't have shrines in them. I'd say most have books, the richer and those who worship the tribunal more (such as retired pilgrims or ordinators and such) would have a small shrine or a little corner dedicated to worship, but nothing excessive.
