wow... You defently have some skills in drawing.

Though those fit more as necromanser stuff(exept the sicle wich fit quite well to be daedric). You should take a look around in the forums and see if there is anybody who need consept art for their models...

1: Full Daedric Armor=No-No. Might work to give a 100% success spell for all bound armor.
2: It isn't scary as is, but walking around a dark corner, and meeting it, would be.
3: Facial portrait, please? Might want to give him an eye, try with and without, perhaps.

I really like your concept art. However, I hate to be a stick in the mud, but I think that there is some lore on how necromancy works and I dont think it has anything to do with soulgems. I could be totaly wrong, in which case, please throw rocks at me.

It's great, but it's not daedric. You need to seperate Daedra from "Evil." Necromancy is, however, practiced by, say, Sloads, some of whom live in the southern areas of Morrowind.

Wow, amazing! Like the others said though, this would be undead/necromancy, not Daedric. More please, more! :o

Could you try to go for nasty, more fleshy designs? (Pretty please?) :)

Hello there, deathmastersnitch. :)

Thank you for sharing your concepts with us, which I did enjoy viewing. I am going to have to request, however, that you forgo using the Tamriel Rebuilt upload function to display your works. Concept pieces should be hosted from another source and linked instead. :)

Thane, please understand that art is a matter of personal taste and this is not the appropriate thread to discuss that subject.

Aren't bonewalkers and bonelords powered by soulgems? this is the only explanation i can think of to the fact that they drop them as loot...

There's a difference between having an opinion and being rude to people. Telling someone that their drawing is not good and showing proof by showing some professionally drawn comic figure of Luke Skywalker is not the same. If there is something bad about the drawing, please state what it is instead of saying "lolol, iz not as g00d as diz!11one"

I've noticed that you have been growing flamey, please stop.

This thread is for Snitch's art. Personally, I like his art. He has a strong style that I think is really fuckin' cool. And I started out on this forum as a concept artist, and am an art student. Constructive criticism is one thing. Telling him that his art isn't good enough is quite another. If you are going to behave like this, we do not need you on this project.
Snitch, great job so far. And no, I'm not just saying that to put Thane in his place. I would like to see you do a bunch of undead creatures for us, especially a bunch of zombie and ghoul variants. You're a Warhammer man, so you should have plenty of inspiration. I did a zombie concept a while ago (its on the main page concept section), but oddly enough that was the only zombie concept. I think the modelers would like it a lot better if they had several concept sketches to work off of.

Aside from a take difference on Daedric and Undead, they're really cool. I don't consider myself to be the finest artist to grace this forum, I think of myself as the middle of the road among everyone here. You, sir, are a good artist. Maybe with a little polishing, you can do some awesome things. You already show potential with perspective.

Keep up t3h work. Also, don't let the "better artists" bring you down. It's either because they're competitive or jealous of attention.

I was under the impression that the use of soul stones in necromancy was in lore... In any event I like the art, and we definietly will need zombies and other undead as we move into more western areas. Also the sythe is rather nice...it might work well as a weapon for a member of the up and coming Molag-Bal cult faction.

That's very gentlemanly of you Thane.

To Mr. Snitch: The only necromancy lore I know of is the, "corpse preperation" series. I think it has a lot of nice descriptions. I like the things like nails in the joints and leather bindings, calls to mind creepy SM stuff. Here's a link:

Also Legions of the Dead contains info.
Legions of the Dead wrote:Undead commonly occur in three basic types: spirit, flesh, and fleshless. Spirit revenants like the ancestor ghost, wraith, and dwarven ghost, can only be harmed by weapons that are enchanted or made of refined substances such as silver. Ancestor ghosts, the most common spirit revenant, are harmless, apart from the minor curses they lay upon their victims. Wraiths are similar to ghosts, but they are capable of inflicting wounds to the careless explorer. Dwarven ghosts are more dangerous still, but they generally appear only in Dwarven ruins.

Flesh revenants, or 'zombies' as they are often called in the West, are known as 'bonewalkers' in Morrowind. Magic preserves the bonewalker's fleshy remains along with the bones and spirit. Bonewalkers are readily identified by the sharp protuberances of bone and metal employed in the rituals that bind them to this plane. All bonewalkers are malevolent and dangerous, but the greater bonewalkers are far worse than the more common 'lesser' bonewalkers. Thankfully, normal weapons harm bonewalkers.

It is difficult to generalize about fleshless revenants, or skeletons. The agility and fighting ability of the animated remains may depend on the abilities of the revenant's former life, and may therefore be weak or strong, or more or less capable with weapons and shields. Fortunately, enchanted weapons are not needed to destroy skeletons. An exception is the bonelord, a peculiar form of revenant that seems to derive its powers more from its spirit energies than from the substance of its skeletal remains. Bonelords are very powerful, and very dangerous. Normal weapons do not affect them.

Vampires were believed to be extinct in Morrowind for centuries. Dunmer culture has a special hatred for vampires, and in earlier times the Ordinators and Buoyant Armigers hunted them to extinction. In recent years, however, vampires have either begun to sneak into Morrowind, or long-dormant ones have been awakened. Vampires vary in their substance and power according to their age and accumulated lore, but even the weakest vampire is immeasurably stronger than most other undead. Note: Ash vampires are not vampires, and are not undead. Ash vampires are extremely dangerous. While their spirit and substance may indeed be preserved by some magical process, the holy warriors of the Tribunal Temple report that spell effects known to affect the undead have no effect on ash vampires.

Mmm...yummy zombie. Fleshie indeed, and quite dead for awhile. Newly risen dead aren't so emaciated, so with that in mind this is a very nice, half-rotted zombie.
