Toilets and Toasters
I had a revelation the other day, when my friend was talking about chamber pots....
Where do people in Tamriel go to the toilet??!!??
Now i know that this is kinda... gross.... but still, i mean, its a really important thing imo
So, i though maybe we could make chamber pots, we couldn't put them evrywhere, because they arent in vvardenfell, but we could put some in rich houses, or even proper medieval style toilets! What are the mournehold sewers for if not peoples excrement?
Anyway, i dunno if anyone has ever thought of this before, but i doubt it so. Lemme know what you all think

Due to the volcanic climate of Vvardenfell people don't have to use the toilet.... that'd be a nice lame excuse.
Seriously, a lot of people probably wondered as well but I guess Bethesda just didn't feel like adding toilets and thought it added little to the gaming experience. So we just assume they use buckets and usually do it outside.

Same reason there are no horses. The Dunmer eat their own feces.
There was a discussion about this a few months back, it was decided that for whatever reason, the Devs felt that bathrooms were unnecesscary, and that adding them in would be going against the way they would have done it, and create too strong of an inconsistency with Vvardenfell.

I think it was avoided in game for decency reasons, who really wants human/mer/cat/lizard waste making an appearance in a game thats not meant to be vulgar(like duke nukem or postal was)
How about this: The food in the world of tamriel is used entirely by the body in some way and thus there is no need for toilets

Really? There probably shouldn't be... If you find it again try to make a note of where it is. If you can't describe it, open up the console so we can get an ID for it.
Imagine my insult to find that "Raw Glass has no effect on you." I became very huffy at the implication that my intelligence could not be lowered further. Then again, I did just eat a piece of glass.

A basic description of Medieval towns, and even Rome, is that they were generally dirty places. It was fact that they didn't even have public rooms (though the Romans did). Basically, and this is the truth, people in their homes would do their business in a pail, than dump it nearby. Farmer's generally put it to good use. Since towns were usually near bodies of water, the majority of the peasants would dump it there. Otherwise, the few lazies there were threw it in the main street, as to be trampled neath the horses that happened by.
Facts.
Facts.
Pwn: "The term has become so ubiquitous in Internet circles that it is often used outside of gaming contexts; for example, "he just got pwned in that debate" or "the hunters pwned that bear."

PS. I was not joking about the toasters. you cant just put your bread in the fire, that's silly.
um... can we be serious about this please? toasters are WAY too modern for TR and also, this is not the place to disuss it. If you are truely serious about toasters than i suggest you star a new thread. Actually I will rename this one for you to make the admin happy
