What would you do if you lived on Nirn

Post by Anonymous »

what would you do if you were sent to Nirn right now i mean like your typeing and the next second you siting on the floor in the middle of mournhold. i would ask for a job at a near by book store and live there work to make ends meat. Oh and don't say "i would kill bad guy ass" cause most of you could not hold a sword.

You only misspelled "typing" and "nearby" though it's technically "ends meet." I'm impressed.

Anyways, I would take the shiny keychain in my pocket and trade it for some flin. I've always wanted to try that.

I'd join the Mages' and Fighters' Guilds, learn how to fight and do magic and so forth, then escort people from Place A to Place B for a living. Get outside and enjoy the sunshine, I would.

True that most of us couldn't be the real deal hero, but I lift Sledge hammers and Pic-axes with ease, and I've lifted a real sword and swung it around easily. Granted that it was only a long-sword, no broad sword, but the heaviest of real swords are no more then, oh, say, 30 lbs. On average, they were only 10-15 lbs.

Anyways, I would join the Fighters guild, take the stuf from the chests in every guild, Join the Mages guild, do the same, sell it to Creeper in Caldera to get the money, then buy some decent light-armor, a shield, and a mace or morning-star. I would then learn to fight, do my jobs in the guilds, use every bit of money on training, unless I needed food (of course), and try to work my way up in the guild ranks. However, once I got enough magic training, I would join a Dunmer Noble House. Either Indoril or Telvanni. This is because I frankly have the greatest respect and awe of these two houses. I would try to make my way to being a high rank in that house and all the guilds except for thieves, because, lets face it, it would be just wrong. I would probably join house Indoril, and abstain from any crimes. I'd avoid vampires at all costs. As I went on, I'd probably advance to long-sword and heavy or medium armor. Point being, I'd do everything to advance myself, but also, try to stay out of Histories way. And when I've grown old and have sons and daughters, I will write and teach and help the future generations, without some prophecy to help me be great either.

Adding question to origion topic: What race would you be if you could choose?

I would be a Nord/Dunmer half-breed, but very devout to my Dunmer Heritage.

Second Question to add: What Religion?

I'd probably have to go with Azura and the Imperial Cult. Tribunal Temple would only be for the benifits.

Wrestle bears and pork some fine Redguard bitches. Aaaaw yeah.
*Shaft theme plays in background*
No, seriously. If somehow I was in Morrowind, I'd leave without looking back and go to Hammerfell. Since I am already an excellent wrestler, I would work for a Redguard fighting master, learning Redguard martial arts.
Then, I'd go to Rihad and join the Bane, the local arena fighter's group, and market myself as an unarmed fighter, since I have no clue how to use any weapon.
I'd beat the absolute fuck out of about a dozen or so opponents, get huge winnings, and then retire from arena fighting. Using my cash, I'd go to Cyrodiil City, and open a high-class resturant in a fancy neighborhood. Then I'd spend the rest of my days spitting in the food of the nobles and charging them out the colon for it.

Well, I would arrive in Nirn. Then the first Kwama Forager would splatter my guts all over, or the scroll of Windwalker (??) would crash me into something. It would be brief, and hopefully painless.

Just make yourself a servant, and problem solved. Hope you have a good master. Second, consider that in real life, an animal that size would only be dangerous on account of toxins. You could chop it easily, unlike in the game.

I'd rig Mournhold with electric lights, and get a nice bit of money from Helseth for it. Then I'd start buying slaves, and letting them go free.

I would ply my trade as a Bard. Traveling the country side playing local inns for a nights stay, a warm meal, and hopefully enough to fund my travels to the next village. Seems the ideal life.

Of course, if I were not making enough in the entertainment business, I would likely resort to thievery. Not outright mugging or pickpocketing, more like the breaking and entering into merchant's shops, noble's houses, temples or the Guilds in the wee hours of the night. And of course there is the tomb raids and the Daedric and Dwemer ruins to plunder. :D

Once I had enough funds stashed away, I'd likely have to join the Mages Guild (ending all raids of their guild halls) so that I might gain some skill in the uses of magicka. I doubt I would rise high in the ranks as I wouldn't devote much time there, just enough to get the rudimentary skills to keep myself alive and hidden when necessary.
I have decided to change my name to Art, that way everything I do will be a work of Art!

I would make myself useful in Raven Rock, enjoy the sight of the Glacier, get drunk on mead, and fight Ricklings barefist. I think I'd actually like being a smith, with me being good with my hands, and having a good aesthetic side.

I would join the Imperial Cult and travel the world healing people and spreading literacy.

One of the more charitable ways to help folk.

Of course I would train in using that crook of mine as a weapon...

I'd become a combat alchemist, demonstrate my power my obliterating Vivec's face in front of the High Fane, and then proceed to rule the world with an iron fist. Wealth, honor and rape here I come!

And have a pet guar.

I'd join the Thieves guild, learn the basics of stealth and backstabing, and given I would gain some good cash using these skills, I'd head to Suran and buy the Earhtly Delights.
As the owner, I would expand my business to every corner of Morrowind and get lots of money from sex starved Nords who can't get themselves a girl just because they look like monkeys with long hair.
Needless to say I would be a Dunmer of no religion.
Oh well, maybe I could be loyal to Zenithar (the god of trade).

And I'd live happily ever after *fairytale ending theme*...

oh everyones is so cool i want to change mine. I would work at a bookstore to make enough money to go to the imperal provances main city and work in the palace with the empriel. I would read in my spare time. Also you all know in real life when you die your dead, so when you say 'i'll kill vivec' your really saying 'i'll try and kill vivec and die' your not the nevor. your you, you a human who most think is imperal at the age of what-ever. not a staint reborn into someones body. now that were over that....
(i did this all with out spell check)

Big dreams you guys have. Mine is simple. I would settle down somewhere in Skyrim as a smith. Find me a beautiful Nord woman to take as a wife. I'm no all-out hero, but I can actually use a sword, so I think I would be okay. Simple dreams.

I'd find some prophecy to fulfill, or if there were none, then make one! I'd start a new religion, I have no idea what; I must study up on my religion lore.

Eventually I'd join the Twin Lamps and liberate the slaves of Morrowind and anywhere else.

Of course I'd be a man, and I'd be the only human there, or did you mean if we were a Morrowind species? If so, it wouldn't matter.

After liberating Morrowind's slaves, I'd go about doing hero stuff... :o

I would:

-Become a good archer (I am half decent in RL)

-Study at the Guild of Mages, and eventually become an alchemist

-Find a young Dunmer woman (we all know what they are like  )

-In my free time, when I am not doing alchemy, I would travel the country side in search of ingredients and do some free-lance adventuring.

Paper clips. Yes, that's what I'd do. I'd bring to the people of Nirn the invention of the paper clip. And than I would be the princess of the land.

You would be suprised by the awesome power of the paper clip if it was the ONLY manipulative object you had for hours on end. It's amazing the things you can do with something so simply when empty time is all you have.

I'm sure this is followed by you starting a cult, Dexter ramming a dwemer object into some important Dark elvin noble on Nirn international news, and Sniper preposing to Yinnie.

oh yeah well one of those human races. The reason you can't learn magic is because you wear born in a world wear magic does not exsit. Just cause you go to a world wear magic does exsit does not mean you can use magic. Those you can use skrolls and magic wepons.

We can not learn magick, because there is no source for us to draw power from, however in nirn there is. So yes, we could learn to use magick.
