Morrowind quest help

I have Morrowind and Bloodmoon and I already did the Bloodmoon stuff. Before I did that, I had completed the Morrowind main quests up until after I had to get a skull for the one lady in the mages guild in Balmora. I went and did other quests and stuff and during that I went to Divayth Fyr and gave him a dwemer artifact. I never got the quest for that, which I guess has something to do with curing corprus or blight, I can't remember which. But even though I never got that quest and it is still far off in the main quests, Caius won't give me a new quest. He just tells me to get that blight(or corprus) cured. If you know of a way to fix this, please tell me. Thanks in advance. Oh, and sorry if I'm posted in the wrong section.

also, I tried talking to Divayth Fyr about the disease, and he didn't tell me anything about curing it or something of that likeness.

"On your return to Balmora, your promotedto Traveler doesnt make you feel better, this may: The spymaster has made inquiries and find a docter that can help you. Go to Divayth Fyr. and Caius will give you a Dwemer Artifact. He will also give you two levitation potioms." I think you know that stuff.
" Go to Tel Fyr... Dont make him mad!!! This is the key or you wont go anywhere with him... To make him happy... raise his desposition to 100 or so! After you done that give him the artifact then so on and so forth tell him about you being The Destined Nerevairine. Go find the topic that sez something dealing about you being Nerevarine. Then Fyr will give you a expirimental potion... He sez it might kill you. Dont worry it wont! But first you must go down to the Corpusarium below in Tel Fyr. Find this guy Yagrum Bagarn... A dwemer... He'll give you the boots. and return the boots to Fyr. Then he will give you it. Then you will be cured. Then since you are cured you will be immune to Any disease. Including those bad ones. Any disease you'll be immune too.
Then Head back to Balmora. And go to your next quest. Its when Milo is gone... Need any help e-mail me! I am always up for questions. The Elder Scrolls Master!

The only problem is that Caius never actually gave me a quest about the curing of my disease. I'm not anywhere close to being that far. I can't get him to give me the quest he's supposed to give me. I don't know why this is happening, but if anyone knows what the problem is, please tell me. Thanks.

there is a bug in the dialogue of Divayth Fyr, which makes Caius believe, that you are infected with corpus, even if you are not. I think, you triggered that bug by giving that Dwemer artifact to Divayth. There is a mod named "Questfix", which fixes that bug (among others). Try searching it on Morrowind Summit. If that doesn't help, I'd have to have a look at the dialogue in the CS, but that would take a while.

well If i knew what quest you were on then I would help you with the quest! You Have to be level 6 if thats your problem!

Here are some the Blades quests:
1.) Antabolis Informat
all he will ask you to look for is a Dwemer puzzle box. You go intot he dwemer structure of Arkngthand go find the puzzle box in the Cells of the Hollow hand, you'll find it on a shelf. All that there is is a guy guarding it. Take him down and get the puzzle box. Ask the damn info from him. and then return to Cosades

2.) Sleepers awake: Well not a quest but all i can say that if you have these various dreams... you'll be having them in Vivec, Balmora, Ald' Ruhn youll be triggereed these dream transmissions from Dagoth himself. Tryingto scare you he is.

3.) Muzgrob Informat:
You have to find the skull of Llevule Andrano in a tomb called the Andrano Ancestral Tomb. Its its located off the roads south of Pelagiad. return the skull to the Orc and ask the damn info she'll tell you them. and after that return to cosades and ask for you new quests.

*REMINDER* A word of caution!!!!!! Every time you do a quest you have to be a level up. its always a good thing. Cause when Cosades asks you to do some training you must be high on your skills. by when you are done by quest 3 be level 6 to be safe.

4: Vivec Informats:
Cosades will ask you to find three informats of Vivec to go into a nice little order here are the people to find...

Huleeya(argonian): He is in Foriegn Quarter Waistorks at the Black Shalk. there is a little problem... These Dunmer guys hate his guts. Raise their Desposition up to 100 to let them go and talk to them about Huleeya and they will let him go in peace. Escort Huleeya to Jabashas Rare books and then he will tell you his info he knows!

Adhiranirr(khajitt): She is in St.Olms. Three people know where she is... they are... (REMINDER... Raise Despositions to 70 then they will talk!)
*Sevisa Teran
*Adaves Theran
*Aldyn Arenim
These people are your only hope to find her... Follow their directions... Apparently she is hiding in the Underworks to aviod a TAXMAN of the census offices. His name is Duvianus Platorius. She'll ask you to try to get him away...

I need to go... But here is one more thing if you need help...
If you already talked to the Ashlander to get them to like you Caius has a quest for you. well he'll ask you to find a lady at Ald Ruhns imperial fort. find this lady Raesa Pullia. She'll tell you to go to Gnaar Mok to find a Sixth House Base. find it kill Dagoth Gares. He'll have a message for you that Dagoth is waiting for you to join the sixth House. But kill Gares then there you have it. You have corprus disease. Go immediatly back to Caius. Hell tell you to get rid of it. Will that help?

Okay, I finished the Muzgrub Informant quest, and Caius told me that I could go do some freelance quests and then come back to him when I'm ready for more orders. I went and did all the bloodmoon quests and a bunch of other quests. One of those involved giving Divayth Fyr a coded message. When I went to Divayth Fyr, his greeting was him admiring a dwemer piece I had and I had the choice of giving it to him or showing it to him. I chose to give it to him. Then, later, after I did some other quests, I chose to go back to Caius and get more orders from him. When I pressed the "orders" prompt, he just said to go to Tel Fyr and get that corprus disease cured. There was no journal entry when he said that, and I don't have and never got corprus disease. I went back to Tel Fyr and Divayth Fyr, and there was no prompt to get the disease cured, probably because I don't actually have it. I tried the Questfix patch, but that didn't work. I can't advance in the main quests unless I get this fixed. Please help.

You cannot just go that just like that!! It is best you start all over again. just to see what happens. A new game will work. If you want all quest help in the game I will alwayhelp.

p.s. Send a message to me dont post it. cause when i search everday to get to this it sucks. But yeah. send me a message. Tell me when you start over.... So... When you start over tell me! I may be back on 3:15 p.m. 4-26. or tomarrow on for two hours starting at 8:00 a.m or 8:20 at the latest. I can help you every step of the way. I used my guy to do every quest there is practically i am a Morrowind game master but when i am thinking new ideas people say I suck... I am just creative. If you can help me then we can help each other out. Cause the Sload Toad guy he is pretty full of himself. He is a BIG critic. When I just laid a simple idea he ruins it totally. Fricked up he is!!!!!!!! Well write back soon you hear!?

@squirrel1300 I found a way, to solve your problem, although I'm not sure, if it will allow you to finish the main quest. So before you do this, save a copy of your savegame, just in case it would screw up the main quest

So after loading your game, open the console by hitting the ~ key on your keyboard and type

Code: Select all

setjournalindex "A2_3_CorprusCure" 0

This should allow you to play the main quest, at least until you really get infected with corprus, and have to meet Divayth Fyr. If you can't give him the dwemer coherrer, then, just open the console again, and type

Code: Select all

setjournalindex "A2_3_CorprusCure" 15

this should allow you to continue.

Please keep in mind that the journal index is reset when you load a game to the index of the highest number journal you already have in your journal. This means that every load you make before you get around the problem will reguire you to open the concole and set the index as cougar describes.

Thanks for your help guys. I've decided to just load the game from before I went to Divayth Fyr and just wait until after I've done the corprus quest to go and talk to him about the coded message. I just think this would be easier than scripting in journal entries. Thanks again.
