if someone use photoshop cs, can someone tell me what brightness/contrast change i could make to the texture?

for the moment, i think i have darkened the textures at about 40% and arrange a little the tatoo

I liked the brighter textures better... the modified clangear thing looks great.

The problem is however that we still cannot use just a retexture! Feel free to create all sorts of unique argonian heads and stuff - we may be able to use them later - but for the different classes of argonians, we really are going to need new meshes.

sorry, i have nothing to make meshes, at least, i could borrow 3dsmax from one of my friends, but still, i have never used 3dsmax :S

As I said earlier, you could try putting the heads on a Clannfear body - you don't need max for that - I am pretty sure you can just rename some files and use the CS for this purpose.

but how can we use it as a player?
i tryed with the original clannfear meshes, but we see nothing, unless i forgot to do something.

The player will never be a Sutadee. Only the "normal" Argonians are playable.

You can, but you need to mess about with some meshes to do it...

Ok, but how. Maybe i have miss something that was easy to do ;) the onl modification i have done that far is renaming and texturing and,maybe depending what is the type of meshes is easier to modify

I only have a limited experience with this but wouldnt it be possible to use the clanfear mesh in the body section and then have different heads?

i have already tried with the clannfear meshes, but all we see is nothing, you can try it by yourself but you will see it will not work.

as sload lord said creatures are all 1 animated mesh. they don't have specific body parts so you can't make them a race.

It is quite possible if you detach their limbs into sub-objects in milkshape.

it looks nice, but where's the thick crested neck/head from those sketches? No offense to you, but I think we need a modeller to finish this one off.

Vernon can make that model for you... he has asked me to provide him with more detailed sketches (which I will provide... eventually) so that he could model the Sutadee. Perhaps then he will send that to you to texture?

At the moment I am focusing what little time I have available on my modeling skills... I am currently making a mesh for my Spider Daedra concept:

That is going to be so seksy! But shouldn't it be a woman? Spider's are Mephala's thing, and are usually portrayed as feminine.

Creatures can't wear armour or clothes. Plus, they cant be bribed, taunted, intimidated, or admired.

Rumor has it they are doing a similar thing in Oblivion with an unplayable race of something like lesser-Dremoras. They want them all to look different so they are running it through the NPC generation thing which makes every face different.

That rumor is complete trash, Jale.

The race seen had the "Demora" ID and the ingrame name of "Derek." Why would the devs misspell "Dremora" and why would they name them "Derek" in-game?

Now, let's look at what else it could be. Perhaps it is DEMO RAce. Infact, I'm 100% positive that'll what it is.

I am inclined to believe it. Maybe the people are called the Derek. The Daedra have to have something under them, dont they?

@ Kenshin: I believe the model Vernon is intending to make is going to be for a playable character race. Though I could be wrong about this, you would need to speak with him about it.

The Spider is in Creatures of Tamriel. The Spider Daedra is not. I looked last night becasue I thought the same thing.

EDIT: Actually it may be in Creatures of Tamriel. Kasan can you look? Specifically the creature associated with the mesh "dridrea".

Vorrheis once made a spider daedra, called Dridrea. It's a pretty cool mesh, actually.

We could use yours as a boss mesh, though, Uldar, if you'd make it bigger than the dridrea. Oh, and feminine. Mephala's usually portrayed as a woman, even though it's more complicated to pin her on any sex (Mephala is Vivec's anticipation, so that topic gets really odd really fast). It could be used in the Ald Tearoth main quest. :)
