Karthor Dale/Kartúr is in this claim but you are NOT TO TOUCH IT. Changes to the city will be made at a later date.

Roth Roryn Region, refer to this image:

Anything on the west side of the pink line needs to be Roth Roryn Region. The rest should be Ascadian Isles. Naturally do not touch the city. Add the Bit of river here denoted by the blue. The purple dotted lines represent the roads. The image of these roads above is just a basic idea though, and you need to make them more interesting. However, it's important that they are at the same points when they cross over into other claims. (also, do not touch the roads going from the city)

Claimer must draw a proposal for the roads in their claim over the image linked above before they will be granted it.

I'm thinking of claiming this one perhaps. I'm ill (some of you might have already noticed that) and I need some ext claim to work on in this hard times :wink:

However, I would like to know if my other claim needs to be approved first. I can remember we have this rule for interiors.

And, regarding KF's file, I noticed that some objects show up as error markers. It's not dependent on TR_data as well, and when I load them together the objects still don't show up. Probably this was dependent on OoT. Can someone tell me?

If I may claim the claim, I will press the button and upload the road map.

I'd advise cutting the claim cells from the latest version of map 4, rather than trying to use the file provided here.

Claiming then. I will follow the description, not touch the city and perhaps add the bit of confusing roads you can see on the map. (Perhaps even a cave somewhere in the wilderness?)

Granting. Definitely add a cave, and an ancestral tomb as well. The tomb's more important than the cave.

I put up the first WIP. I've done the basics for the claim and started with some detailing. Imo Kartur looks great with RR rocks!!! :D 8)

One quick question, should I rename the city cells to Kartur?

If you do, make sure you use Kartúr (with an accent). Just type Alt+0250 or copy it from this post.

I don't like the idea of using accents in game. I don't think it was ever agreed that this was a good idea.

It was always agreed to do it. It's the same with Kogotél. There's no reason not to.

I believe they don't work with all versions of the Morrowind executable. I also believe there is/was a map issue, but that was possibly fixed by Hrnchamd in the MCP.

don't forget that almost no one will be able to COC to those cities either.

btw, my memories about the consensus was that it was agreed that the accents were there, but that putting them in game was a bad idea. (not as though veloth has an accent in game, or anything for that matter)

I think the general consensus was that Sload was right. There was no major arguing over it. (see bottom of [url=http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=19996&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=80]this page[/url] and top of next)

Personally, I like those accents. And what was said about a dummy cell works just fine for COCing. There are no further problems in terms of logistics. So it's just a question of taste and style, where personally I side with Sload. But we can discuss that another time, another place, though.

I'm not aware of any Morrowind executables that don't work with it. It is a Windows function after all. If Morrowind runs on your computer it should support this Windows function. And we don't need COC capabilities for players. But it should still work, they just type in the alt code.

Seeing this discussion, I think I will rather not rename the cells. Changes to the city will be made at a later date. And that holds true for the name as well.

Review: Improving. You need to sink your plants a little more liberally. Same goes for rock clusters.

Comments Very nice exterior. You've got a good eye for terrain development. This is definitely a interesting and pleasing exterior. I tidied up a bit around Karthor but I guess somebody else is handling a redesign later?
