Yay! People came! We can start arguing now.
The Armor the High ordinators wear is called, 'High Ordinator (insert armor name)'. Almalexia's personal guards wear something called, 'Her hands (Insert armor name)'. And, in addition, if we did make the necromic armor, We might have to hurry to get it in the AoT file.

Really? Fascinating. I guess you must have your own unique copy of Tribunal, then. Try putting it up on Ebay, mayhaps? Cuz as far as I know (and my CS says,) all high ordinators use Her Hands armor. The Armor the High ordinators wear is called, 'High Ordinator (insert armor name)'. I stated in the last thread several times why I'm against this. Heck, even the guy who suggested it has dropped the idea. Let's focus on the important stuff, methinks.
Umm Garriath what the hell are you talking about ? In previous thread we stopped on discussing how priesty should Necromic Ordinators aka White Guard as Sload called them should be. We decided that they will need new pauldrons and probably a robe.
And no need to hurry for now. Especially getting something in AoT.

I don't believe we ever 'decided' anything, and I believe the idea was dropped when Sload decided against it. My statement was speaking of what's currently the assumed standpoint of the project (as far as I know.) If you want to bring up the debate again, then that is by all means your right.Sload Lord wrote:I was the one with the original idea, but I have had a change of opinion. If you ask me, we should have High Ordinators in Necrom's Plaza, Temple, and Tomb entrances. The rest should be regular Ordinators.
If that came off harsh, kick me, or something. You know I've a great deal of respect for your work and dedication.
No, my version definitely calls all armor from Mournhold worn by the High Ordinators and Her Hands 'Her Hand's Armor' enchanted or not.DarkEclipse wrote:Yay! People came! We can start arguing now.

It would be childsplay to simply rename it 'High Ordinator Armor'.
Heck i can do it if you want!

I think Silver Indoril is best from that list, since the armor isn't any more special or higher than the other armor.

They are High Ordinators. They should be a bit above regular Ordinators, but not as powerful as Almalexia's.
I'd chose Necromic, because they're specifically for Necrom. Silver does not work because much of their armor is not silver.

Anyway we had a discussion on IRC channel and pretty much agree on few points. Here they are:
-Ordinators of Necrom need to look more peaceful and priesty
-They will have new pauldrons, robe and probably helm (just like on concept art)
-The color of their armor will be white with gold (the same as concept)

Hmmm well, High Ordinators definatly wouldn't work, they are strictly for Almalexia, actually only for Mournhold itself, I would only recommend ever placing a High Ordinator anywhere in TR would be at the gate into Mournhold, if even that.
I've never been a big fan of retextures either, and I don't see the reason for an entirely new suit of armor.
The best way to do this is to use what exist already. If you really want to do something special for Necrom, make its guards Elite Ordinators. Elites typically wear the temple robes, so that already matches up with what some of you guys want.
The Ordinators themselves, are already very Elite, if we keep adding little special even more elite groups, the regular Ordinators will lose their effect.
Necrom would be guarded by the Order of the Watch, I don't think we need a specialized group for it.

Yes but their Armor still says, "Her Hand's", as far as I can remember anyways. Besides that, there is also dialog that mentions that the High Ordinators, are strictly for Mournhold. I cant find the dialog to confirm this since the CS is no longer on my computer, and all my belongings are packed up.
But I know that back when I was first organizing the ideas for a Joinable Ordinator Guild, I came to the conclusion the Player shouldnt be allowed to become a High Ordinator, they were strictly selected to serve in Mournhold. If I had doubted that, I would have added them to the rank structure, but I didn't so I know I had good reason.

There is reference to them guarding Mournhold and also being the police of Mournhold, but it does not say that they guard no other cities. The Necrom Plaza is arguably the holiest place in Morrowind, tied pretty much with Mournhold. Infact, I'd say Necrom is holier than Mournhold, but Lexie's an egotistic bitch.

And a dead bitch these days. I think you're right in saying that High Ordinators were exclusive to Mournhold, though I'm not 100% certain. In that case, Necrom's ordinators would be either the regular brand or some kind of "death guard" wing. Might be a good name for their armour, if you're changing it. And if you do, it might be nice to change the helm from the stony-faced original to some kind of ceramic mournful-looking death mask. Just an idea
