Why bother the guys who already know how to do it? You own the game, pal. There're excellent examples of scripting in morrowind, as surprising as it is ;).

Well, here's what I did/am doing. When I need something done, I think of the closest thing that happens in the real game. Then I go down and hunt that down, copy and paste it was a new script, change a few variables that are no-brainers, and it's that simple. Also try Ghan-Buri-Ghan's guide.

I think it has been said before.
But now you need to search no more.
For MSFD is at your door.
And it will help forevermore.

Version 8 is far superior to the otehr popular verison (number 5). Anyhow, feel free to ask questions (or talk to me on the ICQ channel) if you need help.

Me too. It worked for awhile, but than I got a pretty decent utility off of the Summit I believe. It's called the Morrowind Script Generator. It's so incredibally easy, and the scripts work. It's great to use when you're making a solo project that requires the most basic scripting.

Search the Summit.
Pwn: "The term has become so ubiquitous in Internet circles that it is often used outside of gaming contexts; for example, "he just got pwned in that debate" or "the hunters pwned that bear."

Not to mention there is a whole scripting part of the board where starcrunch, others, and I all check every so often where you can try to get help too.
