If you go here, you will see the house that the mage lives in. Use this to get a feel for how the tower should look. The tower will be somewhat more cluttered and messy, since it will be locked and private.

Hmm... I'd like to claim this. I just have a silly idea, that there's not only creature obstacles. Let's see... what about if the tower is a labyrinth itself? You know, you enter a door in a hall on right and realize to be in same hall, but on the LEFT side. That would even make a good quest, too
Any objections?

The tower is shown from above here.
This is not very large AND requires a unique mesh to fit the exterior, thus making the tower a labyrinth doesn't work.

Yep the com towers aren't very big and suffer from some severe claustrophobia on the stairs (there are places that can be hard to walk through even with no objects interfereing). A small maze could work in a basement if that is approved. Also the modder can add another floor to the top useing planking and a trapdoor, but then you really should cover up the mesh error in the tower mesh roof (this is a Beth made error, that is part of the model, it's only noticable if the player can get close to the cieling). If you levitate in any of Caldera's towers you can see what I mean.
Also if anyone wants to claim this they need to press the "Claim" button rather than posting in the thread. It can be found at the top right hand side of the thread.

If I understand the air screenshot right, the tower is just a simple common tower like ones in Caldera entries. But I like to add some different kind of magic. The basic, don't believe your eyes. I want to make a maze inside that little tower. Not just, that I use in_com_tower_thatch_01 and then add some mere stuff there. I mean more like stony Imperial corridors, rooms and doors, that leads elsewhere, than expected. Rooms upside down and walls are floors. I want to make difference. Something, that player won't guess first. If possible, I'd like to add some notes as hints, how to find a way around there.

Hey!
If you promise to amke the interior according to the above description, it's yours. Use OoT and game objects ONLY, no scripts, and no NPCs. You can add notes and books if you submit them to Books of Tamriel, though. :)
You can put a custom book and hints on the mephalan temple there if you want to. Clear this with Liliath though, he's in charge of the temple as such. :)
Granted. Happy modding! :)
Recommeded OoT packages:
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/files/oot/TR_OOT_Main.esm (1 MB)
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/files/oot/TR_OOT_Main.tar.gz (56.7 MB)

i think i'd like to have a go at this one, i might do what starcrunch said about putting another floor in at the top and somehow covering the hole to make a bit more extra room for stuff, other than that i plann to make the library of spellbooks (ill do it as large as i can in the ammount of space)i'll make it a little messy and cluttered like Dex said too. I think i'll also so put in a few scrolls and maybe some magical item thats not too rare.

Right, i'm finished. This claim was on hold for a while because the spellbooks are apparantly being reworked. So instead of putting spellbooks in i've put places holders called TR_REPLACE_Spellbook which should be replaced with spellbooks later when the spellbooks are ready. In the meantime, the rest of this claim can be reviewed and such and then it can just wait for the spellbooks. Everything else has been done anyway.

Not at all, as long as you let us know.
