Hi there,

Still working on this - detailing. Though I must admit that I have been focussing on my interior claim a lot more.

Would it be permissable to put a ruined stronghold in the westernmost cell? Can't be entered and is completely ruined, just a feature, and we could use it as one of those fortresses we forgot to put in.

Cheers

I thought it was decided that those stronghold should be on the eastern coast, as they're defending against Akavir.

focusing on ints is a good thing - they have the priority now, just don't forget to make this one too. :]

the stronghold: expect an update on this here in a day or two...

btw: you've just earned yourself +1 [pointless] point for replying fast :D

and sload, yet again do you proclaim undecided issue a solid lore? don't...

I'd say the chances of ever getting Ald Lambasi on the eastern coast is 0% since it had a village to the northwest. Therefore, if it's a stronghold in this claim, Ald Lambasi would be the likeliest, although it includes the village. You'ld expect both would be ruined by now though.

Kingfish, when I say "I thought" I mean "I thought" as in, I don't know for sure. Therefore I am not declaring it solid.

Ald Lambasi could easily be made into the ruin under Old Ebonheart, the acquisition could be the reason that Seht left his workshop. That is, unless the part about his workshop came later in the series.

I am not being definate about this, please do not assume as much.

It doesn't matter if it is one of these strongholds or not I suppose, but it could just be an interesting feature.

ok, you've got yourself a stronghold, but:
-not too large
-ruined
-no acess to inside [at least for now]
-not close to the road
- you could try to make it as if people from around used its materials to build their homes in close-by towns. though i doubt it's posible with stock meshes.

btw: did you d/led map 5 and aligned your border?

I have map 5 and matched up the border. I have an old version of Kothloths claim to the south to match up, but i'll want to check this before I finish.

Sorry about the lack of updates, haven't done much work at all. Will try and get this finished real soon so it isn't hanging over my head anymore.

Have pretty much finished an old ruined fortress in the westernmost cell, no interiors. Just really detailing and vertex shading to go.

Going very slowly, am concentrating on map 1 detailing at the moment. But hope to finish it off soon, after I wrap up the detailing.

Sorry.

OK, I have just had a bit of a brainwave regarding this claim while walking home from work. So am changing a lot of it, and putting a series of cliffs along the northern edge, and the swamps begin to merge with map 5.

Have got a ruined fortress, bit with the cliffs the fortress becomes a bit more strategically important.

Exciting.

I apologise for the lack of updates, will have it to you late next week hopefully, would like to break the back of it on the weekend.

Again, sorry about the lack of updates, having a bit of a nightmare with work and other commitments at the moment.

Update? Or has the file been sent to the appropriate place? Maybe we could upload the WIP to the top of the thread for safe keeping and easy access.

Small map 4 claim, unlocking for a change of pace if anyone wants it. Map 2 is down to detailing now (yay!), so preferably claim that, but if you've had your fill of map 2 detailing or work, feel free to grab this little 5 -cell claim for a nice change of pace!

I'll claim this one :)

Standard exterior, nothing special. Maybe a cave or tomb.

Alright, now with all my claims either approved or reviewing, I have the time to work on this tiny claim. Same desc as above, small, nothing really special. Cave or two.

Progress. I have already detailed 3 out of 5 cells. I still have one final exam to finish, so I'll try to wrap this up either by the end of this week or next.

Review: fixed a few minor things amongst the trees and rocks and some of the dungeon entrances
Comments really not alot wrong, the trees are spaced a little too far apart I thought but thats just me, and some of the cave entrances didnt look quite right
