While thinking of a quest idea involving a guar, I thought of this. How hard would it be to take a guar mesh, and shrink it down to the size of a small figurine/toy? Not using the CS of course, but editing the mesh?
If so, do you think this is a good idea?

setscale .1
It needs to be in a script that runs each time the cell is loaded.

I didn't mean as in the actual guar creature, because that would still move around and be killable. I was thinking of taking different shots of the guar in it doing different animations and shrink them using a moddeling program(or whatever).

You should be able to use the same mesh on a misc. item. I may be totally wrong, though.

If you use the same mesh, the tail TOTALLY still moves. And on a toy, that would be just plain creepy.

Sadly we can't import nifs with animation at the moment(as far as i know)
A script could make it really small, and as a misc item, it wouldn't play the animations

What concerns me is... would this be a toy
for a guar? If so, then I guess that wouldn't hurt anything... may be kinda cute. However, if it is a toy for a child, it may be out of place since... well... we don't have children
.

how to make the real object from these files?
(me wants my toy guar
)
but if it's like the one on the picture it's just great.....but which children should play with it (except for us big children
) ? it had to be some type of souvenir or so
how 'bout opening a real stuffed guar factory, selling loads of them, becoming rich and working on TR full time?

Note the 'subtle' positioning of the toys in front of the khaajit merchant.
