Shaded the path and most of the town, working on surrounding area before I finish the town. I'm about a third of the way done, give or take.

added stuff to the beach. even if I dont get the claim i need to get re familiar with the CS and it is working out good. If I get it im about 3/8 done. is it ok if a put a weapon against a rock on the beach? Its a steel scimiter and not that over powering.

I'm having trouble detailing. The claim is just too good! I've put in a small ruined village; no interiors or anything like that.

I still have yet to do some of the right side, but other than that, I'm making good headway. Feel free to throw some pointers or criticism my way, too.

EDIT: Whee for Zephyr!

EDIT: Go down for newest version.

Here's my WIP. This claim is just too good. If it's good enough to be added, then by all means add it.

Alright everyone, we really need to get busting on Map 1 detailing. It isn't a whole lot of work, and I know that there are dozens of you out there capable of doing this. Before we can move on with any of the other Maps, Map 1 has to be finished to our standards. If everyone with exterior skills claimed a small detailing plot, it would be finished in a week.

Are you sure this is the right file? This was a vertex shading claim, and Gah Ouadarhun still has that obnoxious neon green and blue shading all around it.

Claim map is updated. I claimed Gah Sadrith and the island to the east of it. I get a cool font because I'm a cool guy.

Can't do it, sorry. I thought about the fact that the Telvanni may have been able to magically charge the land and make it all glowy like that, but in the end, it's just too garish.

is this the right place to ask if this part of the project will be responsible for sorting out the borders between Morrowind and the other provinces once we get to maps 4, 5 and 6?

Not this thread. You might want to make a new one.

Screenshots aren't necesscary. If you want, you can upload a WIP. If not, I'll take a look at your work when it's done.
Oh, and for an update on my claim, I cleared out the vertex shading (more of the neon green and blue) and have been detailing the coast of the eastern island. Turns out menhirs and Telvanni coastal rocks are much more flexible than you would believe.

Aha. Here's the fixed version Dex. I think so, anyway. If it's still got green/blue/unsightly yellow anywhere, let me know and I'll get back to work.

Maybe after a while. Start of term is on thursday, and I'm going to be really busy with all that jazz for a while. I'll see what I can do, though.

Also, a note about the claim - A lot of the vertex shading I changed continued on into cells outside my previous jurisdiction, so there's a heads up if you see any sudden vertex changes cell by cell.

There are claims of all sizes left. Look at the claim map on the first page of this thread, and decide which cells you would want.
To all detailers:
Map 1 detailing is of top priority. We need to get this done before we do anything else. I really need you all to do this as fast as you can, so we can fix the rest of Map 1 and move on.

I might be able to tackle all of 1-29-Tel (the two-cell claim bording firewatch blue outlined area) this afternoon after I mow the lawn.

If it needs it, that is.

I need three things done by Wednesday if I want to start on the IL right away:

The Firewatch Road (in [20, 17] there are two parallel to eachother on either side of the road, please keep that set up, even if the road is moved. I will need it for the quest)

Firewatch (especially the shipyard) needs to be done.

And [18, 4] needs to be complete. I don't think it needs detailing, but it needs to be in the final stage for this quest.

Sload, I will do those cells you need myself. I think Stalker will be back by Wednesday to finish Firewatch.
Haplo, 1-29 isn't a claim that I recognized as needing detailing, but take a look for yourself. If you think it needs detailing, go right ahead. If not, you can nab any number of cells in the blue-outlined areas.

Another detailing find:

The road east of Tel Ouada (I believe just 1-23, but there might be some in 1-32 as well) suffers from Perfect Angle Syndrome (PAS) just like Firewatch's. It looks like a cross.

You cannot start work on quests until Map 1 is fixed. This means the interior fixes need to be finished.

Ofcourse not. That's why if you go to the full list posted in my thread about my absence, you'll see that most of the things I need done are interiors (Firewatch, Bal Oyra, Tel Ouada, and Tel Oren IIRC, though there are probably more that I need).

But the only two areas to be claimed are big, or are the ones without boxes also available?

You don't have to take the entire area. You can take as many or as few cells as you want within the outlined area. Just tell me what the cells are that you want, and I will grant them to you.

Great, I'll update the claims map in a few minutes. Use as many OoT objects as is reasonable. If you have any questions, PM me, or post them here.
Edit: Sload just reminded me that your claim includes Port Telvannis, which does not need detailing. Just worry about the area surrounding the city.

Erm...there is no otherwise. It doesn't need detailing. Dexter already checked the whole map himself for needy spots, and Port Telvannis obviously was not one of them.

Update on my claim:
Made the beaches nice and pretty. I also started to do some detail of the mushroom-covered island to the east of Gah Sadrith. After that, it will just be a bunch of tedious rock work on the coasts.
