Rich bachelor trying to make it as a savvy investor, bookmaker and broker. Something not to highly appriciated by his Redoran kin. But his house is the place to be if your a passing through imperial or Hlaalu, as (NAME?) is always interested in a deal.

I thought this fitting for a rich bachelor, more or less "distrusted" by his family for being more then a tad unchivalreous.
The place would be rather tidy but coverd with imperial/hlaalu books (anything on trade) and a bunch of rejecting letters from the EETC.
Possible EETC quests (which would otherwise be rare in redoran areas)
Architecture and furniture still redoran ofcourse.

All those buildings are two stories. Also, since it's carved into the stone, you've gor a lot more leeway to do your stuff than with an in-the-open interior.
Having said that, nothing uber, don't go overboard in terms of size and style, and use OoT and EoT well.
Granted and happy modding.
Recommeded OoT packages:
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/files/oot/TR_EoT_datafiles.rar (7.5 MB)
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/files/oot/TR_EoT.esm (108.8 KB)
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/files/oot/TR_OOT_Old_v1.tar.gz (56.7 MB)

i have to get my bloodmoon installed on this computer aswell...
The first thing to greet you when you enter is the lobby, where he (wants) to recive ppl, mainly its a table, one chair behind it, two chairs infront.
behind it all a bookcase.
Lights will be both hanging form ceiling and on posts.

as i said, the (allthough few) hlaalu books on trade would be WELL hidden.I thought this fitting for a rich bachelor, more or less "distrusted" by his family for being more then a tad unchivalreous.
The guy living in this house is not trying to be a good redoran Warrior, he's trying to be, well... Rich! he wants to be a savvy invester, broker or bookmaker.
Im actually considering hiding "The buying game" in his house unless you disagree (gives you +1 "mercantile")
oh and if that doesn't satisfy you: heres a (very) Wip shot!

As you see, no great halls or such, but this is after all more of a bachelor pad than anything else (and my first claim)

Note:
Updated description.
Work will progress much faster when i get a hold of my Bloodmoon and Tribunal CDs.
NPCs recommended (i know its quite a while)
1 Main owner (the rich bachelor, dunmer)
1 Maid/Cook (dunmer, either in her chambers or in the kitchen)
1 Handyman, keeping the fire going in the storage room. (nord perhaps? or just another dunmer) (should be decently armed and trained, but not armored, preferably bare-chested)
You see, this is a very "modern" house, heated internally! ;P

im planning on attatching a scaled down "Zenitar" tapestry to his working desk and hiding "The Buying Game" under his pillow

Umm that will encroach upon house nr 4 unless they have a tunnel going into the cliff...you should only make it 2 tiles wide at the front according to the picture as I see it. You might want to find out who is doing houses 2 and 4 and see where there is space you can use.
Edit: Appears 2 is already in reviewing so PM a reviewer and ask for a screenshot. 4 is currently unclaimed so you could just post in that and say 'Make sure you use a tunnel'
Oh and BTW I would use the smaller version of redoran tiles.

allright, i like the large tiles as it give a "Manory rich" appereance without actually having 89 rooms that i have to figure out a use for:P
*goes to look for the No2 claimer*
EDIT:
i have double, tripple and quadrouple checked Unclaimed, pending claimed and finnished. noone has made no 2!!!
EDIT:
i think i'll just go claim no4 to save someone the trouble...

It doesn't matter that you're going to claim it or anything, it simply doesn't make sense. Why would they build entrances right there when they'd have to dodge around another home? The answer is: they wouldn't. I strongly suggest you redo it, this is NOT a manor.

by "use the small tileset" you mean using the tiny rooms and hallways i assume.
in case you havent noticed i have for some reason not used any big flat rooms, its all hallways so to speak this is because of one simple reason:
Its chisseld out of ROCK rock, not some whimpy volcanic rock. As i figure, the easiest way to keep the thing from collapsing would be to have every roof Arched, and the large hallways fulfill that vision, i have be thinning it down a bit though, let me show you...

an idea i got from watching greek architecture, advanced heating!

*sighs* you're going out of the reasonable boundaries that make sense to me. (They are, by the way, 1 left, 0 right, using in_r_s and in_redoran_s) This is very thin and REQUIRES that you use the "thin" set.
It isn't my call, but I strongly suggest you totally redo this without any large tile peices, as Jale has said.

my question is, how many small tiles wide?
i don't have bloodmoon or tribunal here yet (im working at my girlfirends computer, at whoms house is spend most of my time) so i haven't been able to have a good look ingame.
It seems that whatever i do i end up with grand entrances and magnificent halls

I would have it the other way round...have most of it upstairs rather than down...sort of like you have the living area round under the stairs and then the bedroom, whatever upstairs.
Or maybe even just storage downstairs and everything upstairs. As long as it all goes over above your clothier and you make sure that doesnt go upwards all will be fine and dandy.

the ramp would actually be the "Long ramp" thus the bedroom would be longer and maybe even the dining room bigger.
From here on i will make this residence WEALTHY not huge

Well, #1 is an Inn, i'm building it, so i'm putting in a bar and whatnot too therefore i don't think it would be a very good idea to put a tavern so close by.
I'll grant this to you, and you can make it a house or small manor if you like, or if you can think of something else let me know.
Remember to look at the adjacent buildings to know their shapes and make sure you don't extend your building into those next door.
Granted and happy modding!

rite its finished, jus learned how to use TesAme properly so fully clean.
there is a big space in the main room because i presume there will be NPC's in there and they need room to walk about.
oh 1more thing do you want me to put a path grid in? i dont normally do that but i will do
Colhir.
**EDIT** its a manor not like the description says.
