The Sea of Ghosts

Post by zabuza »

I know that it is way to late to be changed but if anyone could calm me down, arn't we destroying the sea of ghosts? I was looking at the map and it goes strait from those little rocks to the TR stuff. The whole mystery and magnificence is gone, it dosen't even really look like an ocean/sea anymore... any comments

I have no idea what you're talking about. The sea of ghosts goes around the tip of the eastern part of Morrowind. Howeverm any suggestion to change the geography of TR is absolutely ridiculous. This is the geography as Bethesda wrote, we can't change it.

You misunderstood me, all I was asking was that if the sea of Ghosts was really be shrunk. I had no intention of having the geography changed. I looked at my map and now expect that the sea of ghosts covers the north of the island. Im sorry if you thought I wanted a complete change.

I think it was because our landmass had to be moved to fit the additional bloodmoon landmass which wasn't on the original bethesda maps. That, or the modder didn't pay attention to the cells he made. We've discussed this in the admin forum before, but i can't remember our conclusion.. i'll try and dig it up.

But isn't that also Bethesda's fault for scaling down distances for TESIII: Morrowind? Since TR has a policy of not altering the original landmass (and very little besides that) of the game, they kind of have to work with what they're presented. If the original was a bit scaled down, TR ends up being lead to match the scale. Throwing blame on TR seems like the wrong way to go.
