Dagoth Valdes and the blood of Dagoth Gares

I'm thinking at a bloody quest.>:D>Somewhere in a cave the player meets a dreamer.The dreamer begs mercy at your feet.He will tell you about the the last Dagoth family member from Tamriel.The dreamer guide you to him in a vrey secured chamber with shrines.There he run far from you.Then from a corner Dagoth Valdes will com near you.He tells you his story:
=Welcome outlander!I am Dagoth Valdes.I was abandoned by my parents in wildness.Someone found me...A dreamer...This dreamer brought me to Dagoth Gares.Gares named me Dagoth Valdes.And I am not from the same blood.I have a big part from Dagoth Gares.He gave me his blood to feed me.I don't know where is he now but i will never forgot him.And you!You will help me kill one of the ashlander's camp.They plan to destroy this place."This place is the place of desteny"(Dagoth Ur's Voice).If you don't kill them,they will kill you.So will you help me?

1.Yes...
=Great![Laughs]Now listen to me.To north from here there is a group of ashlanders.They want to build one a camp to destroy me.They want to drink the blood of Dagoth Gares!It makes you undead.Now go there...And kill everything!!!Children,women,animals everything!!!If you do this I will give you the blood of Dagoth Gares.It makes you strong and you will never die!You will have 2000 years old and you will feal like 20.[Laughs]

Then go to kill the ashlanders.They will tell you that Dagoth Valdes lies.They want to kill him because he plans to rule over Tamriel.They want peace.

1.1.The only person who is lying is you!
Then you fight the ashlanders.After you return at Dagoth Valdes he tells you:
=Fool!Do you think I would share Gares' blood with you?Ha!Ha!!Ha!!!Now that ashlanders are dead nobody knows that I am here and I can begin my plans.I will not let you escape.
He attacks you and you must defend aginst him.The dreamer goes to the cup with blood.After you kill Dagoth Valdes lava will get out from the ground and you must run up to the door to get out.The dreamer sais:
=No!!!The blood!Dagoth Valdes where are you?Ahhh.......

1.2.You are right!I will go kill Dagoth!
Then you go kill Dagoth Valdes but you find him dead.You will find just that dreamer:
=Get out of here.I know the truth about Valdes.And now he is dead.I will now die...I have to clean my soul before my death.Go now!

2.No!I will not do this thing!
After these words Dagoth Valdes begins to attack you.After you kill him you kill his dreamer.Then lava will get up from the ground.And again you run to the exit.

THE END
or NOT?

Isn't the influence of Dagoth Ur destroyed once he dies? There wouldn't be any more Dreamers, and I don't think anymore Dagoths outside of Vvarvenfell.

yup, commansnat is right.
One mroe question, don't you think he could just keep the blood to himself (the dagoth) and run or slay them. Dagoth's are pretty strong...
if the quest was right...

First:After you kill Dagoth Ur there are still some Dagoths in Morrowind.(Visit Mamancea)There you can find a lot of dreamers and another Dagoth(i don't remember his name).

Second:Ans now Silverwood.Dagoth Valdes wasn't from beggining a Dagoth.He was abandonated in wildness.He was foud by Dagoth Gares.He named him Dagoth Valdes.And he is not strong enough to kill all the ashlanders.The ashlanders were too many and they had strong weapons.(even the player will have to wear some restore heal potions because this fight will be very hard)

I want to make this quest soon.But if anyone else want to do it, it is okay.

Dagoth Valdes DON'T want to share the blood!!!Do you really trust Dagoths?Well if you do you will have some hours of play

AFAIK, Sixth House activities (as regards dreamers etc) are entirely confined to Vvardenfell. Thus, this quest wouldn't work.
However, it is true that killing Dagoth Ur doesn't wipe out all the Ash Vampires. What it does do is to stop them from respawning again.

Yes Ludovic,you are right,but will someone make this quest?I think it is a cool idea.I have some work at some concepts.And I want to add something new.The blood will be something like the Bitter Cup keeped somewhere.The player can steal it if he wants.But he has to confront Dagoth Valdes.Hmm???How about this one?

I very much doubt that you will be able to find somebody willing to make a quet that contradicts lore. Try coming up with a less epic quest.

I think it is not, for the following reasons.

1. In order for it to be the 'last Dagoth family member', you'd have to have killed all seven ash vampires AND Ur first, no? What if the player finds this quest before then? Not to mention, of course, that House Dagoth has little to no influence at all outside of Vvardenfell, which has a strict no-touchy policy.

2. "I have a big part from Dath Gares" - what the hell? That sounds like something out of a bad 80's porno flick. No, no no. Please tell me that english is not your first langauge, otherwise this is inexcuseable.

3. "This place is the place of destiny" - Dagoth Ur is a major character in the storyline and should not be included or tampered with at all by Tamriel Rebuilt. You cannot include him.

4. WHY would a member of house Dagoth expect the Nerevarine, the one destined to destroy them, to aid him? That's just illogical.

5. "They want to drink the blood of Dagoth Gares! It makes you undead." - No, no, and no. Jesus christ child, you are a horrible dialogue writer.

6. Okay ignoring all of your other mistakes and the horrible, horrible, sub-soap opera story writing you have written - the scripting complications for lava rising out of the ground are going to be a bit complicated, especially depending on the size of this cave or whatnot. In addition to the difficulty of dealing with this - there are no proper models to make it look at all realistic.

Come on. You all know better. Don't submit ideas that even a 10 year old with down syndrome would find to be flawed.

I am not interested in all what you say!It is right that I'm not so good at dialouge but if you focus on the story you can see the good parts of it.(When you are telling me all mistakes).Try to be more creative.Read that quest.And post your version if you think mine isn't so 'realistic'."If you want to find a perfect friend you will have no friends."Think more and don't destroy other's work from other reasons.

Try to understand the reason you are being criticised and do your best to fix what you can. If you can't fix it, ask others for help. Read the [url=http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=faq]FAQ[/url] and note that some of the content of your quest goes against some of our policies. I know that criticism can be harsh, I've had my fair share of it. No one person knows what is best. Take the good and bad comments on board and use them positively.

No no no! You still dont understand, the reason its not good isnt because of the dialogue, its because the core points of the quest are illogical and/orimpossible. For example and impossible bit= lava going wild in the cave. (models scripts rar rar rah)and the illogical=

Dagoth valdes saying: Ah! Hello there my mortal enemy, due to my place in service of dagoth ur. Anyway how ya doin buddy? Fancy killing some ashlanders for me? Why?? Oh... uh... because "They want to drink the blood of Dagoth Gares! It makes you undead" Now come on, I want them dead choppy!

It just doesnt make sense, and its too sketchy all round. Just drop this one.

Ok.I understood.My quest idea is stupid.Well I will never make a logical quest.

( That's it!You are right.But what I wanted to do was to make a quest where you can take the blood of Dagoth Gares.After you drink the blood all your skills grow with 10.And you will be "undead".But I am a hopeless quest writer.

Don't give up entirely just because your first idea wasn't a very good one. The people here are just trying to help you and give you advice to make it better, not insult you. (although I have to admit stumpy, you could find a nicer way of saying it)
The point I'm trying to make is, don't give up entirely on writing quests, just understand why this one is no good, and try again. It's that simple. You will learn more and more as you go and your quest ideas will improve the more you do.
