My ISP is being screwy, and I have been unable to get the mass files to Zephyr for an upload, so here is another one for the time being.

As for 'copying' the Bethsoft wallpaper design, I wanted something similar, but not the same. I didn't think that the Bethsoft ones were clean cut enough.

I like this design, we really need to put them on the may page as soon as possible. And i really need to play other maps then just map 1, it seems that they are even more amazing... but i don't want to spoil the surprises of wondering them when they are almost finished like map 1 is...

Don't worry fanfas. Zephyr and I are working on getting all of the wallpapers up on their own page - its just my ISP is on strike and internet is shaky at best, so it may be a few days before they are all there. There are 43 left to release, and I have about a dozen unmodified images that I will change into wallpapers later on. It won't spoil surprises. This is only scratching the surface of what is really out there.

And to anyone who is reading this, can you tell me what cell the now defunct Narsis was in? (I know its old, I just don't want to search an ancient copy of map 6 for a city that hasn't been renamed.)

Ideally, I will convert all of these to splash screens, and they will be included in a release. (Like that will happen anytime soon;)) A screensaver is also on the agenda. Sure, anyone can drop all of these into a folder and use Windows to slideshow them, but I would like to create one with Dragonfly's theme, in a nice .exe package.

It's just that I think the logo text would be better on black background than atop the image.

Hmmm, I do see your point Gez, but I found that keeping the text from the logo within the letterbox, kept the logo in general too low, and left part of it under the Windows taskbar. I also don't want to make the letterbox too large, as on either side if it was much bigger it would occaisonally cut out the sun.

Well, I like your wallpapers, but I really don't think that we should include them as splash screens, because it would add to the already big file size. So my opinion is downloadable wallpapers-yes, spalsh screens-no(unless in some seperate download).

Animunculi is right... They cannot be included as Splash screens for files size reasons. All 61 of mine alone is near 180MB. That is enourmous, considering it is only screens that people see very rarly. A splash screen is 3megs, at 1024x1024 in .tga format, so it really isn't feasible.

On other notes, I have gotten about 1/2 of all of the wallpapers to Zephyr. Soon enough you can see them, even though they are largely images you have seen before.

If you find it on Sirwoot's website, it's 6-26, which means Argon Jungle in that case, cause it's jungle. (Okay, swamp, but still)
