İf it's not existing somewhere, is somebody able to right an history of TR?
The beginning, major evolutions, important modders and works...
For exemple, i would like to now what was Silgrad tower.How was the initial claiming system...

History of TR:

Once upon a time, Rodan's freaky cat avatar (new members may not know what Im on about here) controlled his brain and made him start a mod project on the PC. Some monkeys from the TES community joined up, then worked on stuff for a year, then all the monkeys pulled knives and started attacking each other, then alot of them ran away. Some other people came along and poked at the stuff that had been left by the old monkeys, and then Rodan lost his cat and so wasn't mind controlled any more and went to start a cat farm. Then everyone started dancing and I got damned freaked out, so the next year is a bit of a blank for me. Then the people built some crazy contraption that looked like it had been made by monkeys, and poked some more, then Dexter fitted a big padlock to keep alot of the monkeys out, so now they throw bananas to the ones inside. And some keep up the damned freaky dancing.

Just so you know, not only was Rodan not the original idea behind the project, but he wasn't even a founding member.

Rodan was an admin when I joined in the fall of 2003... but I believe Ash was running the show before him.

I tried to find the "When did you join TR?" thread in the Lounge, but I had no luck. That forum search has quirks that I haven't quite figured out.

For those of you unaware, my post was a joke. It didn't happen like that. Sorry to disappoint you.

To clarify now that Sload and Majra have disagreed, Rodan was not a founding member of the project, Ender was the one who thought it up, Ash was the one who got the first forums (on the ill fated m0use.net system) and our website, and a few others who didn't last that long were on the team. Rodan joined soon after, and was mainly responsible for the forums, whilst Ender was responsible for the entire claiming system. When the 'new' claims system came in (small maps, exts, ints, mobs, npcs, quests separated) Ender was working on every claim, Rodan wasn't doing much and Lorded was the webmaster. That's when Noirgrim and I joined. Soon after, Nazz was made the first head of reviewers. About 8 months later the 'core team' idea was formed, after Ender gave up on managing the whole thing himself. There's stuff missed, it doesn't tell everything, but I reckon that should answer some questions and make sure people know the names of the most influential TR people.

no, I was well aware that he didnt actually mean Rodan founded TR, that he was joking. Because he was here plenty of times before when this topic came up before. And I am well aware of the history of TR sload, but thank you for reminding me haha
