I'mmmm confused... Everyone is talking about TES4, and switching. Does that mean that when TES4 coems out everything is just going to switch to TES4 and all the work for 3 is going to be abandonded?

In a technical sense, you will still be able to work on TES III, but most of the project will be moving to TES IV.

The game files won't be compatible. Morrowind will still be open for people to work on in TES3, and Hammerfell will be open for people to work on in TES4.

More or less. Most of the people here wil want to focus on Hammerfell. It will be a small number of people who will want to work on Morrowind. Basically, we are officially switching to Oblivion, while leaving the option for people to remain with Morrowind.

I guess he is thinking that we have had huge progress with Morrowind, but it isn't complete, and if most of the people switch to Oblivion then it may never be finished. I'm not sure whether or not that will be the case myself.

However we must remember that we have quite a few months until Oblivion, and hopefully moving to the TR Modder system can speed up our progress, reducing the amount of chasing that moderators need to do to get people to hand in claims.

Inferno must be physic... ;> It just seems that if the project moves onto Oblivion then we'll have two in-complete mods. And trying to support two mods will just split resources.
