Why do you want both? There aren't many exterior claims left - what if someone else wants to claim something?

ok, granted
now there are two options:
1. use the old partially done file [you can get it here: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=11693 ] -it contains more cells - those need to be cut off in tesame
2. start from a scratch. in this case, you have to d/l both map3&4 to get bordering claims. also, make sure to follow both geografical and texture maps. [texture map can be found here: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?image=g/maps/map_mw_se_textures.jpg&p=modding_data/maps ], but it's easy for this claim - WG stuff only.

be sure to use a lot of OoT refs and if you must put in some housing, it's indoril area.

one more thing: you are to give a progress report at least every other week here

happy modding

I would like to claim this one. I promise to give weekly updates or at least reports. I plan to put small village (perhaps no more then 3 ints) on wooden piles in the middle of the river, connected to shore with docks. There could be also multi-level terraced cliff peninsula with exterior caves and some waterfalls (i love this set) if my skills will show high enough to make a decent one.
I have not much free time, but I promise regular work and no abandoning without notice. You know me.

Thanks Kingfish, I am on it. Could you upload 3-15 claim here so that I could match the borders? It is in review forums now where I cannot access it.

First progress report. Raised the land and did some texturing and vertex shading.

As you can see there will be one shipwreck cca 6 shacks (velothi tower) is connected to the one in the claim to the south and perhaps one ship.

The cliff is going well, but I am not sure whether it does not look to postcard-kitsch already. Should I continue, do it less structured or abolish it for simple hill. Advices are more then welcomed:

yes, it does look good, though try to add some cliffs that are rotated [x,y axis] and scaled up - to give it more variety...

Wow, I wish I had thought to do that in the Old Ebonheart harbor. Try to break it up a little bit with upscaled rocks, specifically arches (if that texture set has any arches).

Thank you for your advices. Unfortunately I cannot rotate these pieces around Y axis as they often have textured only two sides. This also means they have to fit exactly one on another otherwise there are ugly glitches so all that I can make is these "belts". But I do scale them and rotate by X axis a lot of course.
I tried to find some arches and rocks, but the texture is very unique and it does not look very nice with other rocks IMO. I hope I can make it nice though.

Well here are some pics of Indonesia-styled floating village I made. It is bit larger then I expected (hum 8 interiors), but I guess it will not be big problem as there will be almost no other interiors in rest of 11 cells of my claim.

If there's ebony there I think the place would have a mining vilage right above it.

Hmmm....
Perhaps there is not that much of it and it is difficult to mine it from deep riverbed where the water is so dangerous. But I will reconsider using it...

FRIGGIN AWESOME. my only suggestion would be to remove the waterfalls from the daedric pyramid thingy - is there some magic-fountain-of-endless-water on the top or something? EVERYTHING else is beyond cool though, I love the sense of greater scale the whole claim has, and how the landscape sort of dwarfs the player.

Theo it is ebony, EBONY. When Empire hears that word they go crazy and do not care about the people. No, really. Ebony is EXTREMLY expensive and here it lies 5 meters deep underwater. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be mined.

As for the rest - fucken awesome (no typo here).

8 of 12 Cells are more or less completed now. Here are some new pics.

I removed the waterfall from old daedric cliff, but I could not resist to put another qaterfall clif coming from hill to nearby stream. Hope this is Ok:

The cliffs make also labyrinth of pirate hideouts:

I included also small cave-in in riverbed, but I dunno whether it does not look cheesy. What you think?

Yeah, it looks nice.

I am a big fan of using the cliffs, they add a much better ambiance to the game I think. I like the terraced area as well.

P.S. When will mine be reviewed :) I want it to get in.

I uploaded two more versions since I proclaimed this claim as finished, each one should be luss bugged and more balanced. The claim should not contain much floaters and bleeders now, but the cliff is pain in ass. For some reasons the parts did not always align perfectly even when I used the grid and I had too match them manually in addition.
I can not tell whether it is OK as it is now, but in worst case I would be willing to redo it all or just scrap it.
Now I only need experienced moderator eye to look at it and give me some advices what to improve.

EDIT: I have uploaded one more refined version, but the changes I made very purel aesthetic. I am not touching this claim anymore, until it is reviewed.

TESAME: Clean

Fits exterior: n/a

Northmarker set: n/a
Loading errors: none

Review: check out the boats in Moor Mara, they are taking on water

Comments lots of skeletons, not every nook and cranny needs a dead body in it, and maybe rethink the terraced cliff that the daedric shrine is on due to the fact that the stone color is different from the rest of the terrain
