Eyeball actually made models for a number of were-creatures, but they were never implemented.

But to answer your questions:

a) No
b) Will never be completed
c) No

Don't worry. I think Wereshark has moved on to bigger and better things.

Wereshark lore is pretty thin, too.
'What if man is not really a scoundrel - man in general, I mean, the whole race of mankind - then all the rest is prejudice, simply artificial terrors and there are no barriers and it's all as it should be.'

where is were-shark lore found? Unless I looked over something as usual, I couldn't find a bit of mentioning of were-shark lore. (were-boar, croc, ect. are easy to spot, though)

All lore says is that weresharks prowl the oceans of Tamriel, and are one of the seven kinds of lycanthropy.

Of Lycanthropy?! Uhm, this can't be right.
Lycanthropy means a man (anthropos) turns into a wolf (lycos).
The others should be something along the lines of "Sharkanthropy", "Boaranthropy" etc.
Are you sure this is the official lore? Sounds kinda funny to me.

The "Lycanthropy" is used because BS doesn't care to use more technical and correct terms, such as "Therianthropy". I recommend you read "On Lycanthropy".

Yeah, this is well known, the proper therm for generic werebeastism should be therianthropy.

But people just go with the name of the best-known subset for the whole. There's precedent for this kind of behavior -- why do you think the Greeks are called Greeks by everybody while themselves use the name Hellens? It's simply because the first Hellens the Romans met lived in a little colony they called Greece, and thus for the Romans, all Hellens were Greek and all their lands were Greece.

Since werewolves are the most common therianthropes, then all therianthropes are called lycanthropes.

Anyway, this is Tamriel, so no arguing about words with Greek (sorry, Hellenic) or Latin roots. Lycanthropy is an old Nedic word that just coincidentally resemble like the word "lycanthropy" in English... ;)

Damn... You know what? It's a pleasure to work with people as educated as you guys. I really didn't expect such depth of knowledge from computer-lovers. And no, I'm not saying this because you know some things about my country (which I also didn't expect you to know!)

And yes, people do seem to name the whole after the most popular/known subset, it didn't occur to me until now.
That's indicating I'm not open minded.

Weresharks are mentioned in Morrowind. M'Aiq the Liar is trying to bull**** you when talking about weresharks, but it would be very cool when there would be weresharks in the game.

when we go to make hammerfell it would be cool to do a few quests about weresharks, sort of like sightings and at the end you get to kill one and parade it around a city or something like that.

anyway weresharks would be likely to live in hammerfell because the water is warmer.
