Jester’s Day
28th Rain's Hand
By Jartod

Today is a day to shame the sage,
To run amuck and fool a mage.
Go ahead and use you voice.
It’s Jester’s Day! Rejoice, rejoice!

Profuse pigs piled in plots of plants,
The coward and his eerie stance.
Don’t hold back just have fun.
It’s Jester’s Day! Run, run!

A little girl plays a special prank,
Giving her brother a birthday cake.
The time is right go get Claudette,
It’s Jester’s Day! Sweat, sweat.

A dear wife does wrong her hun,
Baking pies spicy as the sun.
The time is now go play a fool,
It’s Jester’s Day! You rule, go rule.

Pitching paper balls about the town,
Litter bugs start to come around.
Just settle back with a sigh and yawn,
Jester’s Day will soon be gone, gone.

well i mite aswell reply here. i've had a look at the inn, its nice, detailed. i have just one problem, the amount of lights, i know theres nothing wrong with lighting just it seems over powering the amount of candles hanging from the roof. other than thats its good.

by the way i'm not a reviewer so this could be fine by TR standards. but good look, you seem promising :)

right, here's what i have to say.

It's pretty good here's what's wrong:
There are no rugs or tapestries so it looks bare
there isn't enough stuff upstairs
everything on the table downstairs floats
why would anyone have bottles of muck? it may look good but it's not really possible
too much lighting - put the ambient up if it's too dark
the bottles on the winerack bleed
wooden cup upside down on top of other cup.. ? it just looks a bit weird to me

that's all i can see at a first glance,

It hold potential, but it needs a bit of work. Good for a first try.
Oh and i was wrong, there is one tapestry, behind the bar.
Fix it up a bit and show us again
:)

cup- effort to set apart from the norm

i'll fix and get back up in a bit

Ok, well it's a bit better but you haven't fixed the bottles on the wine rack, or the muck-bottles, and i'm not so sure about the head plaques... i didn't even know they existed so i have no idea when to and when not to use them really, but i guess it depends on the house. Also ambient is WAY to high now and it needs to be illegal to sleep here (didn't notice that before)
By the way, which of the interiors did you do?

wah? ok ill go back

the sleeping thing i wasnt sure about cause people sleep in all the little taverns around here...

about the ambiance i started with that from the tradehouse in seyda neen it was to dark do you know of a tiny bit higher ambiant?

Edit: And no one has said anything on my being a writer.

Ok, here we go.
In order to get into the TR Modders group, the purpose is not only to just make an interior, you have to show that you can fix it too (at least, in my opinion, as a reviewer) if you keep sending things back without fixing common errors like floaters and bleeders, the reviewers are not going to be happy. If you don't understand what i mean, you should have asked. Let me show you now.

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/massalinie/Tamriel%20Rebuilt/Bottles_float_SOBshowcase.jpg[/img]
See how there is a gap between the bottle and the rack? you need to carefully position the bottle so that there is no gap. It's a bit annoying, i know, but this is something that i've had to fix myself, many times.

Other than that, i'm still not sure about the heads on planks, and you'll need a second opinion on this anyway
*HINT* *HINT*
(that's the que for some other moderater to come and have a look at this and post their thoughts!
*HINT* *HINT*

And I'm not a literature expert, so I don't know what to tell you about your poem there, i've never been one for poetry really, which makes me doubley not the person to give you tips on that.

Anyway, yes i would wait for someone else to have a look at your int before you change it again.

Ok about the bleeding wine rack...

*gets out soap box*

I may have been here awhile but I'm sure I've never heard the word bleeder in any other context than blood in my life. I'm not to... knowledgeable on what you mean.

The Int: From what I see in the pic, your winerack looks too empty. I'd fill it with at least 5-10 more bottles.

The poem: I like how it rhymes. Good choice of words.
Baking a pie as spicy as the sun.
This line doesnt sound right when you reherse it. Probably because it has more syllables than the other lines.

it is now,

"Baking pies spicy as the sun."

EDIT:

Once agian I have updated after waiting for another mod like massalinie said.

well I hope I fixed the problem and as Swiftoak sugested I added a few more bottles to the rack.

1 - I don't know exactly what the administrators and moderators take into account when deciding on who to promote to TR Modder status, but triple posting is definitely not the way to try.

2 - Wait longer than a day before saying you've waited 'forever'. Try a week, minimum. People do have lives, you know.

Hey, Mr. Sorry! Nice interior, as far as I can tell. Good detailing and all that.

There were two beds that were de that conflicted with the com-ness of the rest, it wouldn't hurt to eskew some of those misc items a little (the pillows on the bed, the chests, forks, etc.) as many of them seem to have been rotated with the angle snap on. I also saw a few floaters (the winerack, the broom next to it).

I'll say that I didn't check on everything, but there was certainly lots of nice detailing, and you seem to at least understand the time and effort that is required. With just a minute or two to look over it (I'm slightly busy) I'd say this was at least an 8.5 interior. :D

I never thought about that when doing the voice acting for one :D. What I did was try to imagine where abouts in the sentence I was reciting a Breton would go into the kinda higher pitch voice, and where he would use the normal tone.

I'm not too good with editing my own voices, I tend to chop bits of it off if I try, so I'll probabaly leave that to you or Graff ;).

Just gonna say because nobody else seems to have paid attention to this yet, if you're applying for interiors you don't need to link your house to an exterior, as you won't be doing that in claims. Just attempt to match your house to one of the existing Hlaalu exterior shells. Only other rules really are use a modular tileset (no shacks!) and use de_p furniture (it's the only one that poses a challenge).

Looking at your interior, it looks suitable, but you need to look for your items placed on the wonky de_p furniture, many need rotating in the X and Y axes to make sure they're resting naturally on the table, some are floating or bleeding.

The ID naming convention for your book is incorrect, (i[map number]_[claim number]_[name]), but this doesn't matter for a showcase, as long as you can do it in claims. Also, I would say that you don't need those pillars on the upper floor of your interior, the staircase outside doesn't extend that far out.

Fix these errors, and you should be good to go.

yea... it's really difficult to know exactly were and how the table is curved and how to fix it. I'll fix that right up and remove the pillars. This home is the first interior that matches its exterior, even the original Balmora home doesn't match the ext(lacks the 4th pair of int)

but I'll fix it right up here now and repost it.

if you zoom in and look at the lie of the table, minor editing of the rotation values don't take long at all. fixing things like that are harder to explain than to actually do.

Here's the Update...

What's changed:

1. Replaced the upstairs room with the hall_end interior
2. Removed the excess posts aside from two(one to fix the gap in the room and hall meshes and one going the opposite direction for symmetry)
3. Removed the tapestries in the upstairs room because it made it a little claustrophobic.
4. Moved the items on the de_p tables downstairs to lay flat as best as possible.

First of all Welcome to Tamriel Rebuilt!

Quick review:

Your file is not clean, clean it with TESAME, it this way that only your interior cell and custom objects are visible in the file.

No need to make an exterior for your int showcase, however it should fit an existing exterior. Which it does.

Do not rar or zip your file, as we do not all use these formats, and thus never zip, rar, or 7z anything. Plain .esp/.esm is fine.

Unless this house is of a botanist (and it seems that way), it has too many flowers, 80% of the house is used to make it a botanical garden. For testing purpose, I would like to see a sitting/dining area, storage and a few planks of clutter instead (bookshelf). An occasional flower/plant makes it nice however.

Beware of bleeders, like the planters that bleed into eachother.

Beware of floaters, several planters float above surface.

Many objects on the table need some minor rotation, adjustment to match the surface below. Some bleed others float partially
I know I'm going to sound like a hypocrite for saying this, but this needs *less* rocks - Cathartis

What's not clean? I clean it every time I save it so the only things that should be different should be the exterior and the interior and the stuff in them.

yes, this has been repeated doubly so before, I get it. I won't do them anymore...

Ahh okay I wasn't sure if the extension allowed for .esp/.esm yet

It is supposed to be the house of a botanist, yes. The home Itself has a dining area outside and on the roof. I'll put more clutter inside though.

bleeders/floaters got it.

STILL?!?! Good god... I thought I fixed it.....

Jesus.... okay... i'll fix it or at least try to.
