You should really keep your stuff in one thread, you already have a showcase thread. That aside, I quite like the Hammerfell towers, though the texture is a little bland. The crown definitely does need some work.

A suggestion would be to pay close attention to the concept art forum, as I'm not sure how lore-accurate the towers are.

Keep working, dude.

Well your skill has improved greatly since you first joined. ;) Have you learnt how to export yet?

Remember to keep an eye on your facecount (it helps not to use smooth modifiers too much).

Graff:The other one was locked.Remember? And yeah you have to wait for the crown. It is not finished at the moment.

Vernon:Yes I know how to export it!I export it to obj...then it can be imported in 3dsmax and exported from there.About the polycount...the polycount isn't very big.And something that I still don't know:How do I aply a bump texture on my mesh?

Here is my first model ever in case you missed it:

And here is how it looks now: ;)

A great imporvement from your old stuff but yet it still requires some work. How about trying to make modular tower (like all morrowind meshes are) from your existing ones ? Adding more details with textures can also help.

My general suggestion for you would be to concentrate on 1 mesh and try to match it with Beth quality. Do not hesitate to ask for help when you need it.

Wow, nice work there, Horodnic. Work on your textures, add a little more detailing here and there, and any one of those would be really nice to use.

Keep it up. :D

Could you post pics of the tower elements when they're not attached together? To see how they could be recombined in the TESCS to make a taller or smaller tower, etc.

Woah, you've improved majorly. I think the shield is almost Oblivion quality. A variation of the steel shield maybe?

You got the modular idea a bit wrong. What needs to be modular are the doorjams, rails (the ring and supports as one mesh) and 3 tower levels (base, middle and the top). That way it'll allow a lot more possibilities for tower creating. But it was a good start. I'm glad to see you improving your skills.

I hope you like these.Maybeh they need a better texture,though. :)

*edit: Why do you think I model?Well here is the answer:I model because it is fun and I have a good time doing this. :P

I think that the texture looks great on the goblet and bottle. :) A matching bowl and plate for it (to complete the set) would be pretty cool. :D

I tried to make a bowl but the texture wasn't good enough.I mean the at the base of the bowl.Look:

As you can see in the pcture the texture can't fit in.In left the map input is set on tube and on right it is set on flat. You know what I mean.Myabeh you can make a texture for that. ;)

Edit:Oh and does someone knows how can i can split one piece in more pieces?I am refering to the tower. The first one.I want to split it in bottom, middle, and top.Is that possibile with blender?

The facecount for this is immense and it is just a goblet. Trust me, you need to stop using the smooth tool. Smooth tools are used in making pre-rendered animations and suchlike - not in realtime games. I know it looks better with the smooth tool applied, but you should try not using it if you want to improve your skills. :)

There is a 'knife' tool in blender that lets you cut things up - I don't know where or how to use it though, because I don't use blender.

Here's the goblet set solid:

And here's with the set smooth function on.But the polycount is the same. The both goblets are 2479 polys.

Even the render time is the same. The memory...I dunno... :s

I'm not stopping yet, besides drawing is my hobby, but I will, soon as we begin making Hammerfell, coz I'll emphasize more on the CS then.
But we've already got plenty of artists who make weapons' and buildings' concepts, so I'll turn my attention to everyday objects and details/patterns. Eventually we'll need such things too.

Not my best. The poly is about 760.

Oh and by the way. Here's a concpet for a hammerfell royal guard. I am not that good at drawing. But a concept is something that represents an idea.Well here's one. :P
