I put my error reporting into an easy to read photo scrap book, instead of following the proper format like i should.

these 2 are in firewatch, the 1st one is the exit from the castle into the housing area the gate opens in2 the wall. the 2nd is where the mages guild and fighters guild are.

there are a few more things in firewatch castle i would change, there are 2 doors sort of next to each other, the surrounds are really high up, like the 1st step is massive, it doesnt cause conflict but it looks a bit wierd.

other than that firewatch is very nice :)

Fixed even the random naked Nord? I couldn't tell if that was supposed to be a bad joke, or if it was an error. ;) Either way it had to go.

The bridge has been removed, but not its vertex shading.

Here are a couple of beta comments. To use beta comments, you need to have a line like this one in your Morrowind.ini file:

I noticed some things too but will report later, using the new report system. For the time being I will state what you should probably be aware of by now, that all map1 ground is floating over the sea. In some areas it does go below sea level but does not touch the sea bottom, thus floating again, leaving enormous gaps.

Also, just outside firewatch's west gate, there is a hill on your left hand. If you face it you will see its upper half is floating.

Brb with more detailed reports (like, omg wtf!!111! mpa1 sakz lolol)


Edit: The version I had when saw the above was v.865, but the thread probably doesn't include every single problem of map1 so perhaps these are fixed. I'll dl v.88

I downloaded the latest OoT and I don't have this problem anymore.

Be resourceful. Just look at minimap and the area of the screenshot. Many of them also have cell coordinates. But whatever.. i'm using the console thing now.. and if you don't want to use those shots somebody else will probably post the errors.

Well the problem is that in many cases even minimap won't help. It gives me a general direction to look at. Ingame. Buti can't really tell the cell name in the editor because I don't have the map.

Every creature is an error. You see the original makers of Map 1 placed unleveled non-respawning creatures on the map. So I want all of them.

AlsoNPCs were removed from the list of errors.

I've only open map 1 in the editor and looked around Firewatch, but i noticed that nearly all of the doormakers in Firewatch (17,15) are misaligned, and some are just floating randomly in the air...is this just me or has anyone else noticed? Also, nearly all of the interiors in Firewatch link to the outside, but hardly any exteriors link to the interiors...is this just me as well? Its pretty hard to miss, and as no-one else has pointed it out i'm starting to worry.

In the cell "Firewatch, Chatal Mendor: Armorsmith" one of the NPC's is doubled. This is likely to be a result of the fact that I updated this cell to use OoT armors. Suggested fix: Remove one copy of the NPC.

TR_ml_FW_gatel12_door bleeds into its lock, and can't be opened. (17, 15)

Scrib in 17, 16

Kagouti in 17, 17

Netches in and around 17, 17

2 mudcrabs in 16, 19

5 in 17, 19

TR_EX_shed_GB looks like an outhouse (2) 20, 17

Grass floater in 20, 18 (near a hill and no where near the ground)

Mudcrabs in 22, 21

Winged twilight in 23, 21

netches + Diseased mudcrab from a leveled list in 25, 21

ex_dae_ruin_02_skew has an inherent bleed error it is on the northwest side of the Hesadsadshamala daedric ruin. (forgot to copy the cell for this one sorry) North west side

Hesadsadshamala, shrine has a cave in that tantalized me into almost getting stuck in the debris that should probably be blocked off better

The entrance to hesadsadshamala is a little cramped, I would suggest putting in an entrance spquare

Much of the floor in that ruin doesn't seem to line up right (I saw background a couple of times while checking it)

Athenim Adrin in Tel Sadas has the spell maker ability. I thought this was reserved for mages guild members only

same with Fusath Nikhiltov (Is that name lore feasable?) same location. (side note: there shouldn't be two spell makers in the same building

More leveled cratures in 28, 21 and 29, 21

33, 20 ancestral ghost

The stairs to the telvanni council chambers is too steep and the door is up to high.

32, 19 had an animation error

34, 20 had one too and then the wind blew (I thought the events might be related)

Telvanni council chambers should not work downward with falls. People could get stuck.

Telvanni vault guardians fly around due to the roundness of the room.

The Telvanni vaults seemed a little under stocked

Rock crystal, Jet, Amber, and Moonstone have no icons, no value, no weight, and no properties

The telvanni council chambers has another spellmaker, (forgot to write the name but he was at the temple section)

(see if you can trace my path across Map 1!)

Edit: shouldn't be too hard to get the full comments for these. I remember my path so I should be able to find all of the item info. Unless something comes up this should be fixed my tonight.

Please format your reports similar to how Stalker showed in the first post. It really makes fixing the errors that much quicker. We started this system under Noirgrim and Yinnie when we did the last big push on error reporting and it worked great. Its something we should've been doing since the beginning of this thread. I was lazy in my first couple reports this time around. ;)

And that beta comments method is really worth checking out. I used to do the pen and paper method and this is much faster... it spits everything out in a text file for you including the cell number and item coordinates... its mostly just a matter of copying your data to a forum post.

yes, I found a few errors as you can see, and the unlocked evidence chest I found hilarious. (but considering I did this all in one sitting I was a little crazy by the time I hit Bal Oyra)

I was thinking... Do we really need this piece of guar poo called Bal Oyra ? I am yet to find a city or any place on map 1 which will cause me more problems than Bal Oyra. If you are the maker of Bal Oyra and do not like what I say - fo and kill yourself. Make me and yourself a favour.

1) Do not report Firewatch gates error. Scripts are not finished. And as you can see I'm too busy fixing this fucking Bal Oyra. I have reported the same errors 2 fucking years ago !
2) TR_m1_Tel_quest_infsmug - if you can see he's a quest NPC so he should be there for a reason. I hope.
3) Do not report missing icons or textures. This will not be fixed anyway.

Error: (Books) TR_sc_m1_T_doc01 and TR_sc_m1_T_doc02 do not follow standard naming conventions.
Fix: Rename them TR_m1_sc_T_doc01 and TR_m1_sc_T_doc02.

Error: (Spellmaking) U_summon scamps doesn't follow standard naming conventions.
Fix: Rename as TR_Summon Scamps.
