Well, I think I'll start with the test cell what is in the Purpose and Rules section, 'cause I want to become a TR modder, to help this "Expansion" be ready before everyone gets bored of it... I enjoy using CS. Here is a

#3. Small shack. Use in_de_shack_01 for interior. A religious, Dunmer Fisherman lives here. Include fishing supplies and dried fish, as well as a few cheap religious books. Nothing Uber, this man is poor. Use OoT and Eot.

Well, I didn't see any floaters and bleeders so I hope it's good enough....

This is a Daedric Lizard of somekind, with sharp claws and a blade attached to its tail.

This is a common sabretooth wolf found in Skyrim.

This is a plant which grows in Black Marsh and feeds from human flesh. It grabs its food with first tentacles and slashes them with it's second line of tentacles and beats it's food up with the rear tentacles.

Sorry no-one has checked you out yet, allow me to be the first. I haven't tested the interior, but you have some great ideas art-wise. I love that tenticle plant thingy, unique! The hound is also creative, sort of a mix between a Wolf and Sabretooth Tiger. I don't know where the reptile thing would fit in, probably Blackmarsh as well. Nice stuff!

Edit: One suggestion, use a really sharp pencil next time you draw something, and keep sharpening it if it gets dull. You'll find that this makes art look alot nicer.

O wow, great ideas. you may not be able to draw them as well as some other people aorund here, but you clearly have better ideas, much better than mine. I like them.

Checking your shack:

1.First off your file is named wrong: Its ok for now becuase this is a showcase, but on normal interiors they should be named TR_iX-YYY. X is the map number, and y is the number of the interior within the map.

2.Second your actual shack's Id name should be the same.

3.Your ambience lighting is off. Go to any shack in seyda neen and copy all of those values.

4.The lighting looks to....blueish. It would reccomend removing some of the blue lights and replacing them with yellow ones.

5. Floaters and bleeders. Check through your interior interior checking EVERYTHING to see if it floats or goes through something else. There are quite a few

Example Floater:tr_w_cook_cleaver
Example Bleeder: furn_de_ex_stool_02

6. All furn_de_ex items should be removed.

7.The books might be a little bit overboard. If this is a poor man, id leave him with maybe 3 different books.

8. TESAME: Judging by how clean this is you obviously know how to use it, but you need to remove EVERYTHING except your cell and TES3.

This is a really great shack, i love what you did with the fish.

Totally fine. When I said that I meant for when you are doing official interiors. Sorry for underclarifing.

Now on to the fixes.

de_p_chest_02_gold_50(The one with 50 gold in it) sinks into the ground.
TR_cont_basket_01_food does as well, but this one looks better good sunk down there.

Wow, wonderful job fixing. Fix those few things and get TESAME good and this will be a finished interior.

Umm... sorry I didn't quite understand you the last time, I meant that I used old meshes, but added other names in the CS. I used those creature meshes that didn't have animations, so I could make static objects with them. Sorry about confusing you...

I dunno about the fisher rat, its a strange concept because the rats we're seen through TES lack any sentience, so I dont think lore would back you up well with that one.

Marsh cat is an interesting idea, but it needs developing, a modeller wouldn't be able to turn that concept into a decent looking model. You need to refine your technique, learn the shape and structure of what you are trying to draw. and then design it with the upmost clarity so people can see what you envisioned.

Simple design for the club, although you'd expect that from Argonians :D.

Interesting idea, a sabretooth wolf, might make for a helluva creature in Skyrim, but the concept portrayal is odd, the wolf is standing on its hind legs or jumping through the air. Like the Marsh cat you need to give your creature a natural look and pose as if it were drawn from a real creature.

What I might suggest is that you draw (either from a photo or real life) a real cat or wolf, and then modify the drawing to incorperate your creature's features, so draw the wolf normally, but then adapt the face to incorperate the saberteeth and maybe other parts you would modify, like thicker fur or larger muscles.

Keep working on it, as long as you keep drawing you'll pick up ebtter techniques and continue to get better.

What should I do to get promoted? There are no bleeders or floaters in the interior (I'm only posting these concepts here to bump the thread.) Should I add more detail or what am I supposed to do with it? And BTW why doesn't the forum display me as a TR Member?

I made 3 different fishes because those 3 are with different shapes. One of them uses TR\cr\xTR_barfish_01a mesh, the other one uses TR\cr\xTR_barfish_02a mesh and the third one uses TR\cr\xTR_barfish_03a mesh. And I made 2 references out of each of those objects, 6 fishes in total.

Hmm... Now I was thinking of being useful for the part of TR which is moveing on to Oblivion, so I thought of starting to learn modeling so I could make some meshes for TR. I'm not going to mod for Oblivion in pretty long time because it hasn't reached Estonia yet and it will propably take some time... Here's the question: What could I model?

The thing we will need first would be more Anvil architecture, but you don't have the game. Look at concept art and see about modelling that.

Looks good so far. :) If you want to make it appear more round, you can always build it with more faces. You can try starting with a cylinder mesh that has 16 sides or some even number like that. Lots of bottles and candle sticks, and eventually you'll make it to the Chair! :D
